   A wonderful moving experience

   Recently We moved 3bedroom home from Missisauga to Kanata. The three Gentlemen were on time very careful throughout the move, especially with my moms piano. They took all necessary precautions in-spite of bad weather .There was no damage to our property . Mike was so helpful from the day first of booking till the end of the move .Thank you so much for your hard work . I would Highly recommend this pure professional company.

   Beware of Nest Movers

   First we were happy with the first and second meeting and signing the contract even if it was over $10,000. However, we should have paid more attention to the work they did the evening before the move when they came to our house to wrap furniture and disassemble office furniture. They wrapped furniture well however not as perfectly as they make believe. For the office furniture they only disassemble the top of the desk thinking they could get the bottom part down the stair in one piece, wrong. They lost a lot of time taking the desk apart the day of the move. The sale rep. Akash Kumar underestimated the time of our move which took over 24 hours. During the loading we bought water and donuts to feed the movers. This should have been Akash Kumar responsibility but he did nothing for the movers. We aren't healthy elder people and were exhausted after being up for over 30 hours. It took a long time to unpack everything and as we did and unwrapped our furniture (which they wrapped) we found scratches on furniture which weren't there before, broken furniture and a garage stand alone tool box broken beyond repair. There is also a 32" TV they wrapped for which the connection cable is missing. What they have done with it we have no idea as we did not wrapped it. We also have other missing items. Our mistake is that I left with the frozen food in the morning and my husband did not checked the house before they left Oakville. We found out later they left a utility table behind in the garage even if the movers were told this was part of the move. Then after it all we we're too tired and upset to check the movers trucks before they left Ottawa. I called Nest Movers to make a claim but was disrespected by the owner. I reached out to Akash Kumar and after several attempt he replied we only had 14 days to make a claim and denied any responsibility for the scratches on furniture, the broken furniture, missing items, etc. Both Mr. Kumar disrespected us over the phone and in emails. It costed over $10,000 for the move and this is way too much for the service we got. Before the move Akash Kumar was very nice but be aware that this changes after the move. We found out they have no respect for women and would not take responsibility for anything they did. If we had known we would not have hired them. Overmore, today November 7 2022 Mr Akash Kumar replied to my review on Trusted Pros website accusing us of trying to make a claim 15 days after the move to try to get profit because my husband employer paid for the move. It doesn't matter who paid for the move what's important here is our belonging were damaged but this company denied any responsibility eventhough there is a paragraph on claim on the moving contract. Akash provided us with their insurance policy in case something got broken. The only claim we made was to get compensation for our belonging they have damaged nothing else. His reply only show you what kind of individual Mr Kumar really is distording the facts to avoid paying for damaged they caused. Clair
