   Overall a pleasure to work with them

   Packing is not my strong suit. However, Pan Transit Vanlines LLC staff stepped in and handled the situation. They took care of my breakables as if they were their grandmother's chine and even helped me donate some belongings I didn't need to carry. Calling them is a must. I promise you won't be sorry you did it. Gratifying experience!

   Charged way more than original estimate.

   I was charged way more than my original estimate. I needed some extra footage but not enough for a final charge almost double the original cost. I was expecting an increase online with the extra footage but was charged a lot more. Be careful when given a quote from this company.

   Bait and Switch Masters - Look Elsewhere

   HORRIBLE company. Undersold me to get the contract. Contacted me 2 DAYS before my move and took my quote from $1800 to over $3000 dollars - rude initial movers with endless attitude that smelled like smoke. The company did not help whatsoever. Nothing was relayed to the moving team, who complained about stairs and even threatened to leave if I didn't pay them MORE for stars that were already part of my contract. Above all of this even after the extra 1000-1200 dollars I had to pay, they didn't even have the room to take everything that I had on my manifest meaning I had to leave about $1000 worth of furniture on a curb that I had to replace. WORST moving experience I have ever had - and I have moved across the country twice. John is a slick sales guy who would never return my calls or emails after assuring me he would be my main point of contact. Every attempt to contact him I would get a response from his "manager," never him. Bad business, and worse customer service. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL COSTS.

   Fraudulent movers

   This is a completely sham moving company. Please be aware that they do fraud business and they outright cheat people. They’ll provide a quote and then make you sign contract and then, steal the money from you. They are brokers and once the contract is signed they don’t take any responsibility. They used some other company for the dispatch and the movers came without any packing materials that they had signed up for in the contract. And then, they start misbehaving with you. It was almost scary and they act like goons when you talk to them. EXTREMELY RUDE!! … the customer service is thisdisgusting even before they have started the job!! … STAY AWAY FROM THEM! THEY WILL LOSE ALL THEIR BUSINESS IN FUTURE!!!

   Scammers

   I gave this company an $800.00 deposit on Jan. 2, 2024.I signed a contract for $2,200.00 to move from Tallahassee to Thomasville. They called me a week before my move to make sure they had all of my items. I told them I also had a washer and dryer. He added that and raised the price to $2,900.00. The Packers came a day early and told me they would pack my things and leave it in the truck overnight. When they looked around they said, "I don't know what the office was thinking, but it is going to be a lot more than what they quoted you". I told them to leave and had to scramble to hire to movers and get a UHaul. I was never refunded my $800.00. They should be shut down!!!!

   Do not contract with Pan Transit Van Lines

   Do not do business with Pan Transit Van Lines!! They are an unethical and a horrible business, with crooked employees. Unbeknownst to us, they outsourced our move to another moving company called “Colonial Van Lines”. The movers originally said they would pick up on the day-of by 3PM. Then they changed it to between 11AM-2PM. Then they changed it to 2PM-5PM. They did not show up until 10:30PM that night(!!) after lying to us multiple times on where they were coming in from. They were also supposed to bring two people to help with our move. But only one person showed up, the driver. Who spoke broken English. Who proceeded, along with the dispatcher from Colonial to force us to sign a Waiver of all Liability, with ZERO explanation as to why they were requiring that we sign this document. After multiple phone calls trying to get answers on all of this (and the Colonial dispatcher hanging up on us multiple times!) the driver was instructed to leave. At 11PM…leaving us high and dry with no moving company and no place to sleep. We ended up at a horrible hotel nearby (the only hotel available in the area that night) and then we rented a UHaul moving truck the next morning, hired some local movers to help us load the truck and we drove all afternoon/evening to reach our end destination. We demanded our initial down payment back from Pan Transit Van Lines and they refused to refund us. So, save yourself from any risk of going through what we went through and stay away from these people at Pan Transit Van Lines….they are the worst. And same for Colonial Van Lines as well….just a horrible company to deal with too!

   Predatory of elderly

   I would not contact this company! They took a verbal list from my mother, I guess she is Barbie cause her four bedroom home along with two 10x10 storage units outside furniture was only half of a box truck!They took advantage of her, asked her what her budget was and made sure they got that amount from her! I have contacted the BBB, filed a complaint they offered 100. back. Outrageous that's a slap in the face. My elderly parents now have been renting u haul's putting unessary miles on their cars. Been stressed beyond belief with already underline health conditions this has been an absolute nightmare. Bernard and Jonny should be ashamed of what they have done. The amount of money they charged for the movers to take 1/3 or less is criminal. ABC movers from Chicago are the ones who showed up in a box truck with someone else's things already loaded. Three mover's, when I asked if another truck and more people were coming it was a hard NO. I could not blame or be angry with them. I immediately called Pan trans, Bernard quickly transferred me to Jonny. Long story short here we are still moving my elderly parent's. I am disappointed that any company would do this to elderly people on a fixed income. Jonny was a salesman and got my mother for an additional 1,300. When she called to add item's that she forgot. Paid for it but was never moved.

   Don’t Book

   I had had a terrible time with moving companies and once I got Allen from Pan Transit Van lines I thought I had finally gotten somewhere. However, let me save you some time assuming you read reviews first. I didn’t and had a terrible experience. First red flag is they asked for a significant deposit up front. After doing research and speaking with other companies that is not typical. A small one to hold your place yes but not over $1000. Next red flag - they don’t have a secure link to make a payment or take credit cards over the phone. They want a picture of your check emailed. I should have walked at this request but I was just so done I was saying yes to anything. After the estimate was signed and check deposit sent it was all booked. However, I hung up the phone and started researching. It’s a B+ unaccredited company on BBB but the main kicker is reading the complaints. One got a credit but because they didn’t like how they responded they cut it down by $300. Then I moved on to Reddit where this got worse. There are threads of screenshots of estimates and that the actual movers are a crap shoot from a legit moving company to men hired to just drive a Uhaul. They low ball it at the estimate to hook you in, then on pick up charge double. Numerous past clients with issues and stating it’s basically a scam. I was done. This is where it got interesting. I texted Allen on the “secure” number although he gave me a personal number (sketch) and although it was 9pm he was somehow in the office to answer but couldn’t process the cancellation. I was expecting a reply next day. Well he replied asking what happened, stating I was incorrect, people are liars on and on. The most unprofessional almost narcissistic gas lighting I’ve ever had from a company staff member. I asked for a cancellation confirmation email. Was told I would get it in the morning. Morning comes and I wait until later in the morning. Nothing. So I asked again. Nothing until afternoon after sending additional texts asking for it. This is sketchy dealings and very very least save yourself the tongue lashing should you happen to disagree or change your mind.

   SCAM COMPANY

   They lie and get you to sign a contract and then when you try to call back and cancel within the 72 hours they don,t answer the phone and wont refund your money. They hung on me twice! THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM!! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, their BBB complaints are filled with ones just like mine. Unfortunately I didn't check before using them.

    Damaged goods plus overcharged

    I hired Pan Transit for a move and it started at $3540 and ended at $6880 as they requoted and then the actual movers raised the price. Then the probably did approximately $2000 damage and offered me $63. After I rejected that offer, they offered me a final offer of $113. I ended up with nothing as I contacted the better business bureau. They wouldn't even respond to the BBB. I strongly recommend not using this broker as they are not even the moving company and they don't tell you that.
