   Great Service! Respectful Staff!

   My original mover canceled on me at the last minute, but Ron's Moving Company came in and saved the day. They arrived on time and could see that I was full of stress (moving is so stressful!). Ron's team put my mind at ease as they quickly and carefully loaded my life into the back of their truck. I thought my custom 25 gallon fish tank would be a problem - but it wasn't. Whew!

   My family and I used Ron's Moving Company last weekend and had a very positive experience. They arrived on time and did the job. Once we saw how they handled our antique bedroom set, we knew everything would ok. I would absolutely recommend Ron's Moving Company.

   The movers were on-time, very friendly, focused, and incredibly helpful. Everything was accounted for and arrived at the destination in their original condition. I absolutely made the right choice to have their help in my home relocation, I would not hesitate to go back to them again!

   Professional, Timely and Reliable

   We had to schedule an Emergent move in two days. I was referred to Ron's by another moving company that could not help me within that time frame. Jerry answered the phone and had me set up and deposit confirmed within an hour. The day of the move came. The 2 gentlemen were professional and very helpful. There were no problems and everything went smoothly. Jerry told me what to expect and he was spot on! Thank you for making everything so easy!

   Overcharged

   The movers themselves were ok. They were friendly and prompt. They worked hard and fast on a hot day so I gave all 4 of them a $20 tip but they forgot to give me my big screen tv so I had to call about that. They did bring it back over at the end of the day. They also lost a bolt for a recliner which made the top of the recliner collapse on whoever sat on it. I had to keep bugging them to fix it and they finally sent someone over after 2 weeks. One of my bureaus and one of my bookshelves had several large scratches on them but I just fixed that myself with furniture touch-up markers. What was the most shocking and disappointing though was when I saw that they overcharged me because they must have been confused. My sister and I split my parents’ furniture after my mom died. Our moving days were 2 days apart. They overcharged me. My move was only from my parents’ house in Woodbury to my house in Woodbury but they charged me from Woodbury to Levittown because my sister lives in Levittown. I told them about that and sent screenshots to prove it but I still haven’t heard back from them or been reimbursed for that. I’m planning to move again this year but I will be looking for a different moving company. I wanted to give 2 1/2 stars but since that’s not an option I was generous in rounding it up to 3.

   Overbilling.

   If you are on a budget for your move make sure you get your quote in writing from this company. We were quoted 5 to 7 hundred dollars for a two bedroom condo. We had already rented a truck and packed up the whole garage and many boxes. The total charge was 1,359 and they left many items behind. The guys were working very hard but that is inexcusable to double your initial estimate not to mention dishonest and unprofessional. Hopefully I can help someone else not to have this happen to them.

   Not!

   Glad to finally find this site to review Ron's Moving Co.! My move using this company was in 2014, and I see things have not changed! They did not arrive on-time; used hung-over day workers for my move; were so late in arriving where I relocated that I was about to call the police; the move supervisor tried to get me to pay another unlisted 'fee' for services not rendered, which I challenged; AND when I said 'let me get my wallet (which I left hanging on my door knob) so I can pay my balance', one of the workers had my wallet in his possession. I should have called the police for that, but I didn't. Things I noticed missing/damaged weeks after my move: substituted/stole my expensive one-piece bed frame for a cheap one; chipped the leg on my antique desk; a box of dvds. CONSUMER BEWARE!

   Stole more than a politician

   Rons quoted me on the phone. At the end of the day , they charged what they wanted. They stole collectibles. A bedroom set and a freezer disappeared from the truck. They stole so much. They make a politician look honest. Do not use this company!!!

   Horrible Experience.

   WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN. THIS PLACE DOUBLE CHARGES THEN WILL ADD TIME AND TRAVEL. THE OWNER IS NOTHING BUT A HOT HEAD THAT DOESN'T DESERVE ANY BUSINESS FROM ANYONE. HE TOLD ME HE DIDN'T LIKE THE WAY I WAS LOOKING AT HIM. WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESS TELLS THE CUSTOMER THAT? THREATENED TO KEEP MY FAMILY'S FURNITURE ON THE TRUCK UNLESS HE WAS PAID FOR THE SECOND TIME FOR GAS AND MILEAGE.
