   I'm Happy With Them.

   This is a good company, the customer service was good and my sales guy was always available the entire time. The day of my move my driver had a strong accent but never the less a great personality. He actually had us all laughing the whole time. I didn't take delivery right away because I used their free storage deal. and I got my goods actually 3 days before I was estimating to get it. I used companies before and they're a company I would use again.

   Solid Company Overall.

   This company did a good job overall. They came when they were supposed to and the salesman gave me a good estimate so that my cost was in line with what we discussed. My only reservation was the driver was about an hour late on delivery and was unapologetic when he arrived. The crew more than made up for it though, and overall the experience was good. I would use them again.

   Missing items and damage to boxes!

   This company claims to not be a broker but the drivers, drive for multiple moving companies. The guy on delivery showed me all his stops with various companies and said he did not work for Safeway directly. The move started poorly with an attempt to add $2000 at pick up to the estimate claiming the quote was for the incorrect size of truck space needed. I measured every item and gave them the measurements to get an accurate quote. I refused and told him to pack what would fit in what was quoted. Upon delivery, multiple items were missing, and the boxes were all damaged. While attempting to look for my missing items, I watched them throw around boxes for their next delivery with no care at all. Items were not packed in the truck securely, which would explain why they felt my items wouldn't fit in the size space and how the boxes were damaged. Overall one of the worst move experiences I have had. I went with this company because they assured me they were not a broker and it turns out they were and just lied to get a sale. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

   Worst experience of my life. Was quoted a price and paid over $4800. Day movers showed up I was told I had to pay another $1000 for the truck as this was a different company. When questioned, I was then told the initial payment to Safeway was only for the "booking" company. If I didn't pay they wouldn't load the truck and would just leave. The truck didn't show up for 3 weeks. Found out later my items were stored in a warehouse in Toledo, OH. When truck finally showed up on a rainy evening, boxes were crushed as though other items were stacked on them. Dishes were broken, furniture had gouges in the wood, a desk/file cabinet was so damaged I had to replace it, etc. Once I started unpacking I discovered all the items that were stolen; Kirby vacuum, 3 Montrose Jazz posters, Canon camera, a box of pictures, broken lamps, damaged shades, etc. When I called I was referred to another company. Numerous calls were a waste of breath. No compensation and absolutely no help. Move, lost, stolen and damage ended up over $9000. DO NOT USE as they can't be trusted.

   I thought I found the perfect movers for my 79 year old dad to move from L.I. NY to FL pick up went very well and that's where everything went into disaster mode. It took almost a month for delivery. When they finally set a date and time drivers were 5 hrs late arrived at 10pmwouldnottakeanythingoff truck until my dad paid and signed paper work. They left approx 1am told my dad they lost the screws for all major items (beds, nights stands, dressers, couches) driver claimed they would go back to whse and look. When my dad called the driver after 2 days of no contact he acted as if he had no idea what he was talking about. Meanwhile my dad found the screws in a box that they ditched them in to avoid putting anything major together. After several calls and emails to the VP of the company of course he stopped responding after the 2nd day. Finally after a week they outsourced someone to put his furniture together. So I STRONGLY suggest DO NOT USE SAFEWAY they in my opinion are not trustworthy

   I feel like I was tricked into signing on with Safeway Movers. I paid much more than I was supposed to pay when I agreed to the initial contract, they took a month of my life as I tried to chase down my items, and they delivered my items but much of it was either stolen or broken. I strongly recommend against signing with Safeway.

   These guys are thieves, avoid them at all cost. They will overcharge you, they won't pick up the phone when you have issues, they won't respond to your messages.

   This is by far the worst company you can choose for your moving needs. They are great up front (getting you quote and taking your deposit) but when it comes to claims or accepting any responsibility for broken or lost items, they do not care about their customers or trying to resolve issues - total con artists. I have been waiting three months for a response to my claim and I am the ONLY one putting in effort to get it resolved. The prices are good, but you get what you pay for!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

   Worst.

   Please never ever use Safeway in Orlando Florida. They are the worst scammers you will deal with. You will experience problems of overages on costs, many missing items and many broken items. The trouble is they use day laborers instead of professional movers. Do not be lulled into their .60 per pound insurance scam called movingclaims.net. Damages will be repaid for less than pennies on the dollar.

    Moving.

    This was the first time I have ever used a mover, I did not know what to exspect, I asked them about insurance and they told me it was included in the price, they would not load the truck until I paid them. They where supposed to put things together after they arrived at the new address, they unloaded every thing they had and took off. Tv stand screws missing tv stand distroyed anyway, curio cabinet distorted, computer desk distorted, coffee table damaged , $600 VACUUM cleaner missing, camcorder missing DVD player missing, family pictures damaged, family movies missing. Filed a claim they offered $74 if you ever hire a mover please check them out doint do what I did trust them, they do not give a dam about you or your belongings, remember the name safe way out of florida,I have over $3000 dollars worth of damage and missing PROPERTY, it is a big scam,.
