   Saved the Day!!!

   We had a different moving company cancel on us at 7 PM the evening before we were to move! I got on Google and found Samson Power Movers and gave them a call. Samson answered at 7:30 PM and I explained the situation to him and that we needed somebody the next morning. He said "we gotcha"! Mr Samson fully explained their pricing and the process to me. I signed up with him and they moved us the next day. Everything was flawless from beginning to end. The guys showed up the next morning on time, worked their butts off all day, and were so polite! I thought the pricing was extremely reasonable as well. I will definitely be using these guys again if we need movers. I'd give them 10 stars if it was an option!

   With a family reunion soon approaching and the old house still in disrepair, I needed a way to move all of the old furniture out and into the new home. Fast. I perused the web and found Sampson’s power movers. They arrived much quicker than agreed (which worked in my favor), professional demeanor, and not to mention quality accommodation.

   You should hire Samson Power Movers.

   I looked around the WWW for movers. About six places floated to the top based on reviews and I requested quotes. Derrick was the first to respond and his quote was the least expensive of the bunch. A crew of five / six packed everything up, loaded the truck, drove to the storage facility, and played some awesome 3-D Tetris in the storage unit. Start-to-finish in a little over an hour. Highly recommended... I plan to get in touch with them when the pandemic ends.

   Great moving job!!

   My move was complete stress free! The owner of the company came with the crew and instructed everything. I was very impressed with the outcome! The crew was very professional, they wrapped my heavy furniture and carefully moved it in and out of the house. No damaged item or missing items. I totally recommend this company to everyone.

   Sampson power movers

   I was so angry when they got done. They took more time than any of moving companies I have ever used. They give you this great quote, but it took 6 hours for them to complete the job for a two bedroom apartment! So obviously they charged much more. Then when I paid with Venmo, he gave me the wrong number to send it to so of course they expected me to pay again. I was able to get it reversed, but at the end of the day I had two charges for $625 until my bank processed the charges. They also were reckless in handling the furniture. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!

   Most unethical business i have ever dealt with

   Please stay away from this company. Quote was given for 5 hours. They ended up charging 9.5 hours. Paper work had wrong address. I had informed the representative Mariah the day before when she called me back from me confirming move . She said no problem i can let the guys know in The morning. The killer is they charge time for their movers to make it back to their business. Even though their workers were at my address. Owner used address on their paper work to calculate time. Which was further. They also charged me time that their driver was lost(over a hour). Owner would not speak to us over the phone. Workers were not allowed to give number. I paid through Zelle so i had his number but he refused to answer. The workers themselves were great. I could tell they felt bad and they gave me the impression that situations occur almost daily that customers are upset. The most upsetting part is if the owner some how believes he is truly in the right he world not be afraid to speak to us. Once again the workers were great. If they treat customers like this i would hate to see how they treat employees. The temp was near the 100 degrees today and he did not supply them with even water. I did.

   PLEASE REVIEW THE TX DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE NO YOUR MOVING RIGHTS AND VERIFY ACTIVE LICENSURE BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY THEY PROVIDED THIS TO ME AFTER MY CHARGE FOR INCOMPLETE SERVICES As of 12/06/21 this is what the form provided to me by them for major damage with my move for Tx Department of Motor Vehicles has their licensures showing 007740572C SAMSON POWER MOVERS LLC DBA Sagith Senanayake 957 NASA PARKWAY 410 OLD GALVESTON RD HOUSTON TX Revoked STOP STOP BUYER BEWARE We spoke with Mariah on 11/29/21 who took the information of the house being sold and no lights in the home the reasoning for needing them in the am and the inventory they scheduled us for 8-10 am 12/04/21 they called at 11 to say the truck had broken down they had staff issues people did not show up for work and I suggested to reschedule or for Sunday in the am or cancel and they called 4 more times throughout day stating they were on their way eventually at 615pm they showed with movers who were teenagers and 1 child with a trailer not a moving truck and it started to rain to move a California bed set . They quoted me 99 trip fee and 99 1st and 100 each additional hour my storage was 23 min from my home so and we had also dismount all tv and took all the beds apart so all the kids that they sent would have to do is load and move it they started slow the first hour loaded half of my stuff called me and advised me it was now going to be 2 more hours and then again another 2 hours if I did not have the money they were not going to release my stuff all in all what should have taken 2 hours became from 615pm at night to 11pm and a total of 657.00 furniture and chairs and other items were left wholes in my walls were made and my California bed set now has mass scratch and scrape damage due to them sending teenagers and children to do men’s jobs. I requested information on how they were going to help me as their customer who just paid all of monies requested because they wouldn't release my stuff if I didn't pay and all they sent me was a form from Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Know your MOVING RIGHTS and Responsibilities and told me the truck was full and it was dark and the remainder of my things are still in the house. If this is how they do business they are not good for you or anyone else DO NOT do what I did STOP BUYER BEWARE Take their advice and ALWAYS check Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Know your MOVING RIGHTS and Responsibilities to make sure your MOVING company is a GOOD company to it’s Customers!

    Very disappointed and dissatisfied.

    On March 20, 2021, we hired this moving service to unload a Uhaul and assist with removing some items from our home. During the unloading process the movers were arguing among themselves about how the move was going, resulting in two bedroom furniture items (purchased May 2020 that had never been moved before) becoming damaged. The movers were on the stairs debating about how to get the dresser upstairs. The mover at the top was asking the mover that the bottom to lift higher, mover at the bottom stated he was, mover at the top didn’t believe him so to make a point the mover that the bottom literally let go of the dresser and allowed it to clunk down onto the stairs. There were multiple witnesses within my family/household who personally saw this incident. The dresser slide mechanisms are damaged, the drawers no longer open smoothly – force is now required to be exerted and there is a scrubbing sound. Movers admitted dropping the footboard; the footboard is cracked and has visible damage to the structural integrity. Damage claim is pending, but response from company upon initial contact did not leave me with an optimistic feeling.
