   Excellent Experience

   I hired Shippingmygoods (SMG) last June '22 (US west coast to Ireland) and my experience was excellent. Of 4 quotes, SMG were the best deal I could get, did a 'Live load' pack and my container got to Ireland within a few weeks. Tip of the hat to their Irish local agent 'Just Move', who were equally excellent. I have a few intercontinental moves under belt and honestly this move was as flawless as it could be! Anthony was attentive, always picked up the phone and was supportive throughout my entire move. Can't say enough good things about SMG

   Simply the best

   I trusted Howard from the time I spoke with him last year. He stayed true to the quote for shipping of my goods to Spain. The driver arrived in a timely manner, loading my items and 30 days later they arrived at my new home in Spain. All of my items were accounted for, nothing was broken or missing.    Low Stress move to Austria

   Howard and Jonathan were so helpful during our first international move. I was skeptical because the price was half as much as the name-brand van lines in the US, but it was great! I appreciated how well they explained customs procedures. They were clear, accurate, and they got their people to our place on time. Everything was carefully wrapped and arrived on time again in Europe. We opted to get insurance, but everything went smoothly. We liked working with them so much we're using them again to move back to the US. I feel less stressed knowing I can trust them with our belongings.

   Great experience with my move back to Europe.

   I just moved from the Bay Area back to Bavaria in Germany and found ShippingMyGoods on the internet. I got in touch with their Florida based team and my two contact points (Anthony and Jonathan) were fantastic. They coordinated all on my behalf. They worked with great packers in the Bay Area who took good care of both my household goods and an expensive sports car - all packed up in a 40ft container. The goods arrived in time in Bremerhaven, Germany, got trucked down to our place in Bavaria and eventually got unloaded by a Munich based moving firm. All worked out perfect. No damage, no major delays and - apart from extra custom's fees, which weren't ShippingMyGoods fault - I paid what had been agreed beforehand. I can highly recommend this firm.

   Moved from New York to London - August 2017.

   ShippingMyGoods helped us move from New York to London. This process took 10 weeks and we were very happy with the condition that our belongings were in when they arrived. Nothing was missing and they had individually wrapped delicate items in paper. We arranged a quote of $1500 which was based on estimations and paid $300 in a deposit to begin the processing. SMG were professional and efficient. We chose the door to door option using an ocean freight service. We also used their packing service (for an additional fee) because the value of our goods was high and we wanted to be able to claim insurance if we needed to. The company arranged for the shipment to take place on a specific date and were prompt and careful whilst loading the van. They boxed up and labelled each box, which was useful when everything arrived in London. The total weight after packing was 131 cubic feet and this used two pallets. SMG sent us the updated invoice of $1900 with details of payment swiftly, which meant that they could get it sent off to Charleston, US as quick as possible. During this time, we were filling in detailed itemized inventory list which was needed by the Customs Declaration side in the UK. We were then given a specific date that the ship would arrive in Southampton, UK but not given a tracking number. Customs clearance took 2 weeks and HMRC charged £265. Globalog facilitated this. Next came Seavia and Relocations Direct. We arranged a delivery date but it had to change last minute as the pallets had been wrapped together which then wouldn't fit on the van. Although this was slightly annoying, Seavia found a solution very quickly and professionally. Our belongings arrived at 8am on the curbside the next morning and we were overall very pleased with this service. Highly recommend ShippingMyGoods.

   Moving to Europe.

   Moved from Arizona to Sweden. Company was upfront with the fees, but had to make a small adjustment due to change of port for the container. Moving and forwarding companies in both the US and Sweden were very professional and helpful. All our items including our car arrived safely and in good condition. It took 8 weeks from door to door.

   Successful move from USA to Europe.

   We moved from Philadelphia, PA to Switzerland in Nov. 2015. We were not moving furniture so we were looking for a limited service. We were also looking for a very basic service as we were trying to save money. Shippingmygoods.com (SMG) offered 100 cubic feet for $1350 with the idea being that we pack our stuff into moving boxes and then stack it all up on a standard shipping pallet with the whole thing being shrink-wrapped together for shipment. We weren't sure how it would all turn out but 3 months later we got all our stuff in perfect condition for a final price of about $1500 which included some taxes and customs fees. The rep, Howard, was quite friendly. He wasn't terribly easy to get a hold of as he always seemed super busy but when I did get him on the line he was very attentive. There are a few things I want to highlight about our experience. First, SMG is a broker - the actual moving was done by a collection of companies that they sub-contracted with. This service is cheap because our stuff was shipped as normal freight. The very first part was a bit unnerving - They sent me shipping labels which I put on all the boxes and then I brought the boxes myself to a trucking yard outside Philadelphia where, after some confused looks from the staff, I was handed a pallet and a roll of plastic and I stacked and wrapped the boxes myself. The trucking company they selected was not entirely happy to find out that I was shipping household goods but they did take my stuff. From there as I understand it went to a company called Globalog which handled the actual ocean shipping. This was delayed as our stuff was supposed to depart from South Carolina and they had very severe flooding that devastated the whole state. Our stuff sailed about 8-9 weeks after we dropped it off at that yard in Philadelphia. Next was an English company, YFT Lgistics Ltd. which received our stuff and sent it out via truck to Switzerland. The passage of control from company to company was quite smooth it seemed. We were able to change the delivery address after the stuff shipped (we stayed with family at first and eventually found an apartment) and it all worked. As promised our pallet of boxes was dropped on the sidewalk in front of our new place at that was it. I think it's important to say that part of why this worked well for us was that we were very proactive about understanding how this all worked and what we needed to do to make it a success. Howard from SMG was very good about explaining everything and answering all our questions about what needed to be done. If we had screwed up the labeling or the packing or the customs declaration then we would likely have not had as good of an experience.

    Avoid at all costs

    So far, I would rate zero stars. I planned my overseas move with Howard one year in advance. Started off fine, but once my stuff was picked up, I have almost zero communication. In fact, I think at this point my calls, emails, and IM's are being dodged. It's been 2 months since my items have been picked up and no one knows where they are. The status,... are they lost.... am I paying for storage of my lost items? The only thing I want to know is if I still have belongings and a tentative ship date. But I honestly feel my items are gone at this point. For the level of customer service I am getting, I should have gone with a different company. Avoid them. You get what you pay for, lesson learned way to late....
