   A great experience.

   I'm not one given to hyperbole but our experience with Starline was wonderful. It was our first oversea move - to Alaska! - but they made it easy from the get go. They advised us through the forms and paperwork needed for transporting our goods across the border, they packed everything up for us, and our stuff got here undamaged. This was done faster than other competitors timelines by 2 weeks at minimum as well as coming in about 1/2 the price of another quote we had gotten. Starline and its employees are great.

   Having emigrated now 3 times we both know exactly what goes into packing furniture and moving it. We used Starline Overseas to ship our stuff from Canada to New Zealand. Everything went really well until we received our stuff in New Zealand. Our DINING room table, which was less than 6 months old, looked like it had been dropped. The headboard corner had been bumped. Having looked into how it was packed it was no surprise that both of these things were damaged.When we previously shipped our stuff it was really well packed – blankets, paper and bubble wrap. The pictures below show how it was packed and it wasn’t even proper bubble wrap.We have never taken out insurance in all of our previous shipments and not had one problem. However this was human negligence and not being packed properly. All Starline could offer was $150 which unfortunately doesn’t cover the cost to replace our DINING room. The DINING room table is so badly damaged that it can’t be repaired. We WOULD totally accept HAD there BEEN a fire or EVEN theft, but THE DAMAGE was definitely DUE TO human negligence. This shipment left Edmonton – Calgary – Vancouver – Australia and then New Zealand so there was a lot of handling of our stuff. Under the circumstances I definitely would not recommend your company due to our bad experience.
