   Do Not Use! Stolen & Damaged Items! Claims Filed.

   Please do NOT use Straightway Moving & Storage Company. Our move was August 2017 it is now January 2018. It has been over 4 months since we are dealing with this issue. We are left with a broken bed, broken shelving, shattered picture frames, damaged paper printer, and multiple items to list. We have been unable to contact the owner/John and it has been a headache to file claims. Not only did they damage the majority of our items. 100 percent of our items were removed and repacked. Should be noted that all of our items were labeled, organized and sealed in a specific manner and were returned to us 3 months later completely repacked, unlabeled, and randomly scattered. For example; kitchen items with bathroom items, cleaning supplies with clothing, husbands suits packed nicely and dry cleaned and returned crumpled and ruined. I urge you to please DO NOT trust them. We have lost more than we have in moving costs. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt multiple times and they are unwilling to help when we asked them to locate our stolen items. We are not understating the word “stole” our items were removed from their unopened manufacturers packaging. Example; Apple TVs, ps4, and other electronics. Day after day, week after week, but they never called us back and never returned emails. To make a bad situation even worse, they lied about their shipping cost and quote, we were quoted $900 for the move to end up with a $1400 bill that we were forced to pay to receive our broken and stolen items. (I will include photos). The claims you end up filing are not within the company but with a third party organization which take about 30-60 days to process the paperwork. They will also tell you your items are worth a fraction of their original value. To say we are angry or disappointed that this has happened is an understatement. Please let us be an example and do NOT use this company! Also be prepared to lawyer up. We are still dealing with this.
