   The team I had was great, highly recommended. In addition to all the normal stuff (communication was fine, they were on time, moved everything we asked, no damage or problems) there are two reasons I bothered to write a review: 1) they came in noticeably under budget. My wife and I were just moving our 1BR apartment and doing some of it ourselves, we mostly wanted help with the kitchen and furniture. They quoted us $1,400 but ended up charging us just $1,055. 2) They did more than we asked them too. We still had some loose items and packing to do and were expecting to do it ourselves, but they took a few extra boxes for us than were planned as well as other items (some wall art, unpacked clothing, plunger, other stuff). Really above and beyond.

   Some of the team was very good but there were big problems

   I did a local move with them that included move management services. The packing and unpacking were done very well. The initial person I dealt with gave me bad information. She gave an estimate of $5-6K and I would up being billed for more than $8K. She told me that they would come the day after the move to unpack even though that was a Saturday, but in fact they do not do that on Saturdays which she should have known since she had worked with them for decades. The scheduling was inconvenient, with them coming Monday and Wednesday to pack for a Friday move. The movers left my old place without having loaded everything and I had to call them back to finish loading - I think I was charged for the extra time their mistake cost.

   My quote was $14,087 plus an agreed to extra charge of $1,193 for a total of $15,280. The final bill was $17,500 and they didn't inform us of this until they had the stuff on the truck in front of our new house demanding payment or they would not unload our belongings. Stay away..buyer beware.   At the final bill you will here a lot of "we underestimeated the amount of time for.." and "we underestimated the amount it would cost to do..".   You have no choice to pay the bill or they keep your stuff. After complaining and getting the owner of the company to review the bill and correting actual billing errors they knocked off $500..gee thanks. We ended up paying over $2,000 in extra charges that were not part of their quote or they woudl not unload our belongings.
