   Amazing performance

   It was the most wonderful moving I have ever had. I would be happy to recommend them and would certainly use them again. The movers came on time and were very friendly and professional. The move was fast and easy. The movers worked hard and got the job done quickly. Very grateful for the service.

   Pretty good moving company. Got all my stuff that I needed and nothing was broken or missing. Awesome movers too. Friendly nice people to deal with. We had to reschedule twice and no problem at all. Recommend!

   Move to NYC

   We used Transport America to move about 350 cubic feet of furniture, etc to NYC for my daughter. Mark was great to work with and upfront about timing and getting a smaller amount of goods to NYC. What I thought was super great was they did 2 stops for us (one to another sibling)in NYC along with having to go up 3 flights of stairs for a really reasonable price! Everything arrived in perfect condition—and nothing was missing. But you need to keep in mind that when you are moving smaller quantities of goods across country- the shipment has to be combined with others and that is why you get a good price. :). And in case anyone wants to purchase additional insurance, I found going through Progressive insurance (we got a renter’s policy) was so inexpensive. They will begin coverage on the day you purchase it and will cover the move too. So far the best way to get full coverage at a great price.

   It was a pleasant experience. I am glad I called Transport America Moving, I had a nice and professional guide on the phone, then a team of several people arrived. Everyone was very kind and professional. I would recommend Transport America Moving.

   Please do not use this moving company

   I am begging you to not use this moving company. Everything seemed to be going fine in the beginning. Sales appeared to be helpful and kind, but the whole thing turned into a nightmare. It was a small one bedroom apartment moving from one coast to the other and it took almost one month and when our belongings arrived, furniture was broken boxes were wet and damaged and we had a missing box as well that has never been located full of very special belongings. The price went up after the initial quote included stairs. They just kept tacking on more money at drop off in an order to get our belongings. The money had to be paid in cashorZelle. The driver arrived late and did not have any help unloading. I have been asking for a bill of landing to make a claim and that just has been impossible to get through to anyone or get any cooperation. Please be aware before using this moving company.

   I don't know where to start. First the brought a smaller truck, so then i had to pay more, then when they finally delivered my stuff it was in an even smaller truck! EVERY piece of furniture was broken! We are a military family, so we are used to moving and things breaking, it happens, but EVERY piece! then they got more money out of me to bring the rest of my stuff. once it was all said and done, there was stuff missing. So i filed a claim. All i needed from Mark was a officially signed email saying they looked but could not find my stuff. He NEVER sent the letter, then flat out stopped taking my calls! Terrible service!! DO NOT Recommend!

   Terrible Service

   My belongings were not taken care of by Transport America. After 13 days I finally received my things. 90% of the boxes were damaged including the wardrobe box, and many of my pieces of furniture have deep scratches in them. I'm also missing boxes with my drinking glasses, French press and kitchen utensils. They didn't show up. Now I'm having to replace those things. I do not recommend this company for interstate moves.

   NOT REAL MOVER

   This company is so rude and not legit. They bait by providing low bids, then outsourced to another company who did not deliver. They will then say they cant help because we have to work with the other company who there will be no contract with. Be prepared to just buy all new things if youve made the mistake of working with them. This is theft and fraud.

    Nightmare Transport!!

    Transport America Moving Series is the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond terrible—unresponsive, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. They gave me an initial quote that seemed fair, but by the end, the final cost was sky-high compared to what was promised. To make matters worse, my shipment arrived damaged, and when I filed a claim as they instructed, I’ve received absolutely nothing since July 2024. They don’t honor their word, their process is a scam, and dealing with them has been an absolute nightmare. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from this company!
