   Scammers and thieves - stay away from Venture Van Lines

   Here's how it will go...You will get a very helpful, cordial agent on the phone and give a description of your moving needs. No problem moving your items, and here isthe price estimate. You will be pleased that the price is very competitive. So, you think "let's do this!" You schedule a date with them and they show up at your location. Immediately there are problems. Oh, this is more stuff than appears in your contract. Oh, we're not prepared to pack those items. Blah, blah, blah. Then comes the offer to go ahead with the move. But the kicker is that it will be many hundreds more than you bargained for. Oh, and they don't accept anything but cash so if you don't have it immediately accessible you can get on the CashApp and get hosed for additional fees. Your items get whisked away, but while you were struggling with the CashApp they have packed the truck andonce paid they are off like the wind. When yuodiscover that they left items behind that you clearly said were part of the additional ~ $900 moving fee (in our case) you call them only to have them tell you tough luck. Ten days pass and you wonder if they are really going to deliver and then - voila! - a call that they are delivering on X date. If you are not available on that date there will be a really unpleasant charge for the delay. Then comes another kicker: they tell you that their truck can't reach your neighborhood because of narrow streets and there will be an additional transfer charge of several hundred dollars. The funny part is that they won't be able to id who I am writing this, because they do it to so many people! Oh, and don't think that you can send them away when they reveal their scam, because they say that your estimate was only an estimate and they will keep your deposit of $thousands$.    Agreed on price and paid down payment. Picked up property. Them held property for additional $1000 ransom. Threatened to auction and then charged storage fee. Horrible company. Go somewhere else or get extorted.

   Unprofessional and belligerent.

   I had called to hire them if my house sold. I told him all I had was $5000. The house didn't sell so I found another way to come up with that amount of money ($5800). I called them (Rob) back to get the ball rolling again. "Hired" 1st thing he said, " it will probably cost $1200 more" a total of $7000. Then "oh I will take care of you" them it is going to be this. Then he said it will be 5% more, & each time he had to go back and talk to a manager. I am not a Haggler. So I said I will think about it. & call you back. My brother called in the meantime and Rob kept blowing up my phone, wouldn't stop, so I sent a text that said cancel. This is what he text me next. "Good luck ya fucking looney toon" because I didn't interupt my phone call with my brother to talk to him (Rob) Very unprofessional.

THEY WILL GIVE YOU A LOW ESTIMATE AND THEN GET YOUR ROUTING NUMBER AND CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER FOR THE "DEPOSIT", THEY WILL THEN SEND A SCUMMY "LOCAL MOVER" WHO WILL EYEBALL YOUR STUFF, TELL YOU HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE THEY HAVE AND TRY TO DOUBLE THE COST. THEY WILL SAY "LET ME LOAD THE STUFF IT MIGHT BE CHEAPER". DO NOT!! DO NOT!!! DO NOT LET THEM LOAD ANYTHING. THEY WILL PROBABLY HOLD YOUR STUFF HOSTAGE. I TOLD THE GUY TO LEAVE AND PROCEEDED TO GET A UHAUL. I will move my own things from now on. STAY FAR AWAY. THEY WILL TELL YOU THEY ARE IN LITIGATION WITH THE NJ BASED VENTURE VAN LINES - THEY ARE THE SAME ENTITY - FLORIDA AND NJ ARE THE SAME. THEY DESERVE TO BE IN JAIL. THEY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON. LOWLIFE SCUM. FAKE A** COMPANY POSTING FAKE A** REVIEWS TO TRY TO KEEP THEIR SCAM ALIVE. YOU ARE LICKING YOUR WOUNDS BUT THEY ARE ALREADY INFECTED.    Fake company

   They got $950 as a deposit and they did not refunded while the cancelation was 3 minutes after paying the deposit. They do not aswer the calls and email. They persuade you for great service and supports but all are fake! do not do any business with this scam company. Alan Williams is a big scamer. He is disappeared about 50 days while he supposed to answer my questions. Be aware of their abusing.

Even if they are the cheapest company and are nice at first trust me please dont use its a SCAM!!!! They play on your vulnerability!!! Literally after not showing up called another movers and paid deposit and it being a day notice had to pay almost double the price to move!!! SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE START AND DO NOT USE THEM

   Terrible Customer Service

   I need to plan a small move to empty out a storage unit. I submitted an estimate request online and spoke to Robert Mathews, who was rude from beginning to end. I get not wanting to be at work, but this guy acted like I had wronged him the minute our call was connected. I was already a bit suspicious of the company's ability to professionally handle my belongings, then when I asked for an exact estimate, Robert huffed and puffed before putting me on hold. He returned with a number, which I asked to be emailed. He paused and insisted that this was the lowest number I would get from any company, which is all well and good, but I'd like to see a written estimate before committing to paying a company several thousands of dollars. When I explained that I want to compare a series of estimates, I could practically hear him rolling his eyes through the phone as he said, "whatever, it's not like I do this every day, but fine." For someone trying to convince me to spend money on a service he was offering, that was the final nail in the coffin. When I insisted he still email the estimate so I can make a decision soon I also mentioned that his customer service was a bit shocking. He then simply hung up on me. I am appalled that this is the behavior of a representative for a company trying to convince people to spend lots of money on their service. That was the least professional service call I have ever experienced and makes me never want to use this company for anything. Reading reviews here and across other websites, including Google, it seems that this is standard behavior and matches the disrespect and lack of care that is characteristic of this company's operations.

    Extortionist! These brokers hire truckers to cart your stuff.

    The truckers then extort you. The sales rep under represented the load. They brokered out to a third party and then after loading 1/3 of our stuff threatened to leave with our items if we didn’t pay 3x the original amount. The boxes arrived mangled and had been repackaged by another delivery service. I can’t believe this is allowed in the USA. Need better laws to protect innocent and unsuspecting consumers. We wound up paying 2.25X the amount we agreed upon.
