   This morning I woke up to the sound of my five-year-old playing the piano… and honestly, it stopped me. A proper full-circle moment. When I was a little girl, I always wanted to learn the piano. But it just wasn’t something that was possible back then. So when we moved into our forever home 18 months ago, having a piano was always in the vision — but definitely not top of the budget. Then something happened that never happens. Someone in my husband’s work — where he’s been for eight years — mentioned they had a piano they didn’t want anymore. Free, if someone could lift it. That has literally never happened before. It felt meant to be. And of course, we called VK Removals. These are the same team who moved us from Belfast in the height of COVID with a newborn, snow, ice, slippy roads — and not one complaint about my fairly chaotic packing. Just kindness and graft. They collected the piano from Belfast, carried it down stairs, and totally impressed my husband’s colleague with how professional and easy they made it look. Then they came to deliver it — and we’d a local wedding that day too. And to top it all off, when they arrived, they couldn’t get into the house because our spare key wasn’t where we thought we’d left it ? Honestly… only us. But did they get annoyed? Not at all. They just found a solution, no stress, no drama, and left the piano safe in the garage. I upcycled it — sanding, painting, giving it new life. Then yesterday, in stormy, soaking-wet weather, the VK team came back again. Soaked, smiling, blankets over everything, chatting to the children… and moved the piano to its new place inside our home. What a company. What incredible staff. They’ve been with us through so many big moments — and now they’ve helped me fulfil a childhood dream. This morning, listening to my son playing… my heart is full. ? Róna

   Helped my partner and I with a move from North London to rural Galway! From start to finish couldn’t ask for a better service! Gave me a great quote and was available to answer any questions or queries I had during the entire process! I didn’t know the first thing about moving belongings and what was involved and they made it effortless and I didnt have a single worry during the entire process they took care of all paper work I didn’t even know I needed! Great time keeping and such genuine nice people that make your move personal and not just business! My belongings and boxes came in emaculate condition looked the same as they did when I packed them not one single mark on any of them they even repacked an item that I didn’t pack very well without it being an issue or a mention! Every interaction was like just speaking with a friend putting me at ease! Explained the entire process and made me feel as if no question I asked was a stupid question and explained a couple of things in a way that was clear and understood by myself!    Highly recommend- moving homes with ease

   I used VK Removals to help move all my belongings from a flat in London to my new home in Bantry, West Cork. Karen was superb is helping talk me through the whole process, completing all the paperwork for the transfer of residency etc and Sarah and team were incredible in lifting & shifting making the whole thing stress free!    Lorry arrived in London to remove our furniture on time 7.30am in morning. Friendly driver plus two very experienced removal men hired in London to dismantle furniture we could not get out the door of our 3rd floor flat. Efficient and professional and before we knew it the lorry was loaded and left. We coincided to leave on the same ferry so as we could be at the house in Ireland the same time as the lorry with two more experienced local men to help unload lorry. It is stressful moving but V.K. Removals professionalism from the first time we contacted them and helping us with all the documentation needed for the transfer was first class. A highly recommended company.    I used VK removals for house move and storage. They provided an excellent service and everything was perfectly wrapped, stored and moved to new property.    Top Quality service.- Removal from Liverpool to Rock, Northern Ireland

   I had such a great experience with this company. Extremely helpful from the get go, normally moving and packing is a stressful process. However I had zero stress using this company. I was moving from Liverpool city centre to Rock, Co.Tyrone, Northern Ireland. They were easy to contact, I knew exactly what was happening and when they would be arriving. I had contact from the driver and the company at all times. Vinny answered any enquiries immediately and made me feel at ease. It arrived in the Rock in superb condition with no issues. 5 star experience, would definitely recommend and I will definitely be using again!!

    Removal from South Yorkshire to Co. Roscommon

    When we were in despair of ever finding a removals company that would undertake the 'Brexit-plagued' task of moving property from the UK to Ireland, VK Removals came to our rescue. Extremely helpful and efficient, they took all of the stress out of the process. We will certainly use them again when the time comes for a permanent transfer of residence.
