Problems selecting a moving company.
I will never use a nationally known company established years ago. Many now use independent contractor drivers who work for many companies at the same time so choosing a company you knew years ago doesn't guarantee you anything about the driver or workers for the thousands of dollars you pay. I would suggest you get from the movers you choose in writing how long the packers need to pack you up; a person assigned by the company to see that all boxes clearly show what's inside; the name of an office person who can be contacted for 24 hours if a problem comes up if you identify a problem such as not enough workers or their employees are at your home too many hours. You need to know how many hours should be required to make delivery of your load. I had all of these problems. .
