   Had I read any of these reviews before our move from CA to KS we would have never had the horrible experience we had!  First off Stevens Worldwide hired Wilson Movers to go to our apartment in CA to pack up our stuff.  They were on time.  5 or 6 people showed up to pack the apartment.  My diamond ring was in my dresser upstairs in my room.  That was missing.  Half the stuff in my dresser was packed in a box and the other half was still in the dresser.  The ring was never found. We told the movers that we estimated to have a delivery address by the 1st of August when we closed on our home.  We called them on the 28th of July and they told us they wouldn't be able to have our stuff until the 4th of August.  Then the 8th then the 10th..the stuff did not arrive until the 12th of August!  When they arrived the first thing that was noticed was the missing dining room legs.  The guy that delivered was very nice and left me his contact number and promised the dining room legs to be delivered and they were.  When I contacted Stevens worldwide they sent me a claim form for the inconvenience of the items being late and another for the missing ring.  The inconvenience form asked for receipts of all items we had to buy to get by in an empty house for 2 weeks!  Their response to that claim?  $200 that was agreed on by Mark from Wilson Movers as a "good will" compensation.  We spent way beyond $200 buying inflatable mattresses, sheets, pillows, blankets, pots, pans, iron, towels!  Their response to the stolen diamond ring?  We must respectfully deny liability.  Per the endorsed inventory, the night stand does not reflect being shipped with contents inside.  A review of the endorsed High Risk High Value Inventory form provides no listing for a diamond ring. Are you kidding me?! Half of the items were packed in a box and half still inside!  It is sad that such a well known company will not accept responsibility when they knowingly hire people that they obviously don't do background checks on.  This is my wedding ring that I had paperwork on and they refused to accept responsibility on it.   We would have never accepted our employer hire this company had we read the reviews first.  .
