Nightmare moving company.
DON'T USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!! They are THE WORST!! I just hired them to move a bedroom furniture from Norridge to Palos Hills. The movers were not properly equipped to move the furniture, no Dolly's, straps or anything. I was given an estimate of $260 But it turned out to be a $600 job. They damaged the new armoire and the hallway walls from the 1st Flr to the 2nd Flr. of the apartment where I live. I spoke to the owner Elidia who said she had insurance and would send me a claim form. I waited and waited & never received it.. Now surprisingly she will not pick up the phone or answer my Text messages. I gave her the opportunity to call me back and pay for the damage and she chose to ignore my calls so that is why am posting & pursing legal action on Monday..I'd hate this to happen to someone else. Please make sure that whatever company you choose 1st) does not demand cash & accepts CC's 2nd) has a good contract with no hidden charges 3rd) proof of insurance & license with the state you live in & are moving too It's worth paying more money for professionals then saving a few buck on what you think will be an easy move that turns out to be a fiasco. Posted are the pictures of the damage furniture and the hallwayS. Again please do not use this company they are absolutely terrible if I can give them a negative rating I would.
