   Easy, fast and simple

   I used them to move a big and heavy wooden wardrobe I bought on Market Place. MoveMate was the lowest price I have found. They were careful to wrap it and brought it up to the second floor without a scratch. The movers were polite and discrete. The planning process was professional : the site is very user friendly, you can discuss online real time (at almost any hour of the day) with a friendly rep, they ask for a picture of the item, you can discuss the details over the phone, and they answer all your questions. I interacted with several reps, and all were remarkably nice and professional. And they fill a void in the moving offering for big item purchases between individuals. I recommend them !

   Overpriced and will overcharge you

   It cost $761 to move the contents of a small two-bedroom apartment. The move only took 1h15mins, but that was because my roommate and I were pressured into helping the movers carry items. The movers complained throughout the process. Movemate then tried to state that we were at fault for helping the movers and that we should have called them instead (as though we had time to do that during a move...). They charged me for items they didn't even take during the move. One of the most expensive moving services in Montreal, for very poor quality service.
