   HORRIBLE, CORRUPT COMPANY

   I wished I had done more research before hiring this company for my 3-hour/185 mile move from central Florida to Northeast Florida. If I COULD give them below a one-star rating, I would. I provided the list of items to be moved, and received a quote for $3000 for a 26' truck and 3 guys. Only 2 guys arrived. They waited until all items were on their 26' truck before telling me that it was going to be $6148. It was too late in the day to get in touch with my bank to release funds, and they require payment before unloading, or I was threatened with "we'll take the truck (and my stuff) down to Miami." They were also supposed to deliver and unload the next day, according to their "policy," which would have been fine with me, as I indicated to the movers, but they insisted on driving up and doing it the same day. Well, because I couldn't get the money orders for that amount to them that day (which would have been okay if they had stuck to their estimate) the dispatcher said they would stay overnight in a hotel and deliver it at 9:30 the next morning, and if I didn't have the money orders by 9:30, the driver would be leaving for Miami with my stuff. I was at the house with the money orders by 9:30, and they showed up at 9:45. Chad (supervisor/dispatcher) was absolutely horrible to deal with. As a result of delivering the next day - in spite of the fact that it is their "policy," as I was told by the woman on the phone, I was charged an additional $700. Remember, my estimate was $3000 - and the total I had to pay in order for them to unload the 26' truck, was $6848 - more than double the estimate. All items were marked where they were supposed to go, but the driver wanted to put everything in the garage - and didn't bother to look or care if items were marked "fragile" or not. Many items were damaged or broken, and as time went on, the driver especially started throwing temper tantrums when I insisted that they put the items where I had specified. I wished I had taken videos of his actions. The dolly they used damaged furniture, and slamming the boxes down broke several items. If you've read this far, then I hope this review will help to make your decision NOT to use this company for any type of move. I am 63 and have moved many, many times in my lifetime, and this was BY FAR the worst experience EVER. They are corrupt, and will flat out rob you, Their "estimate" means NOTHING. Just assume that if they use a 26' truck and you fill the truck, it's going to cost you about $7000. HORRIBLE, corrupt company and very unprofessional movers.

   Worst moving company!

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If Darren (sales rep) helps you, be prepared to have the card you use for payment to be compromised. After calling management to let them know what happened, I was told” Darren makes a buttload of money, trust me he wouldn’t do that.” Absolute scam and worst service I’ve ever encountered. I’ve never been to Florida before, called this company to set up a moving date and within a few hours I have several charges on my card within 30 miles of their office.

   Horrible service!..when they have this many bad reviews something is up! Left me stranded on a cross country move. Had to leave my thing behind! They never showed up didn’t call..would not answer over 10 calls 20 emails! David the manager is horrible the office manager gabby even worse!..the accounting department a scam! They will not refund my deposit! It’s been 1 month! Keep giving me the run around I have in writing the accounting dept.saying the refined me 3 times nothing. Do not trust!!!! A nightmare!!!

   Honestly this has been the worst moving nightmare ! This company isn’t who actually delivers your items . They contract other trucking companies for the actual move . My move was from PA to NC. The day the movers came to pick up my load i had to pay $946 extra on top of the $1600 i was already misquoted by all American ! Theythen asked if a semi would fit on the block of my new street in NC - I told them no . They already had my items on a box truck so they said they would just deliver on a box truck . After 11 days of not being able to get a delivery date because “the truck broke down” they finally arrived in NC. They then told us they couldn’t fit a semi onto my street ( without even trying ) and they would have to charge me $632 extra in order to deliver or not they would have to leave all my stuff in a storage facility! I have NEVER dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life ! They wouldn’t even put me on the phone with a manager !

   We are currently in a move with this company, we can’t get an expected date of delivery but they continue to ask for and we continue to give them payments. When we call they have no answers or show any concern for our situation. The salesman was truly that and the overall price has doubled without any delivery or eta??? The WORST do not contract with this company!!!

I just want to inform you that as a moving company and a carrier we do over 250 moves a month. We try our best to accommodate everyone's request and make all customers happy but sometimes things happened. Regarding the inventory list, we work with a moving software called the Granot. Sometimes the volume of the article list vary tha't why the price may change a bit. But in your case you described that your move will be a minimum, and the price for minimum moves is a guaranteed and a binding quote. The time frame of delivery may change based on the time of the year, weather conditions, road conditions, other act of God, delivery schedule, geographic location of the move and other unknown factors. The moving company will do it’s best to meet any requested pick up or delivery dates. Customer tend to write bad reviews and when the move is successful they don't take time to praise us witch is fine. Also I want to mention that we did carry an A+ rating for 17 years and we've in business for 33 years. I can assure you that you will be taking care off and you will have a good experience.    Stay Away.

   Horrible. I don't even have the energy to go into the details of the nightmare that was my move with this company. Stay away - they will extort more money from you. Their claims are a joke. Unprofessional driver from hell. Oh, and not American. "All American" ---what a joke. Learn from my mistakes and stay away! They were subcontracted to me my Purple Heart (another joke of a company). Make sure you go with local movers who you know ad who give you an in-person estimate.

   6 weeks and still no stuff.

   I had my mover come pick up my things april 11th from michigan to texas. I was told it would be about 2 weeks for my things to arrive. It is now may 13th and I'm told my stuff is still in michigan. Not sure when and IF my household items will ever get here but living out of a suitcase is not fun. Horrible company and horrible customer service.

    This is the most unprofessional moving company ever. They will try the bait and switch on the quote, adding the smallest things like a bed rail. Saying a bedroom set is just a mattress set. When we finally agreed upon a price, the mover were late starting. Didn't bring the right size truck. Left half my stuff, but did not tell me until they had collected the full fee because they won't unload until you pay them. The broke an expensive dining room table, vacuum, glass desk and other items, but did not pay or even acknowledge it. I ended up having to rent a uhaul truck to go get the rest of my items because they blocked my calls and would not respond to emails. They hired a contractor who enter my house without permission and then stole money from my house. It was crazy. Absolutely the worst move I have ever made. they left trash all over the front yard and in the house. If you value your goods, do not use this company.
