   To my surprise everything was as promised. They get my vote. I did monitor everything. No complaints. everything went smooth. They always followed up. And no problem when we changed the pick.

   All American Van Lines Did an exceptional job.

   I just moved and used All American Van Lines to move me. They know what they're doing and they're quick about it. Services range from packing for you and moving you and unpacking to simply moving. It's much cheaper to pack yourself. You pay by the hour and of course will have to pay for all the materials they use. I don't know how costly it would've been if they packed me, since I did 90% of the packing myself.

   Stay away from American Van Lines

   If you, or anyone you know is considering a move, stay far away from Brian Maguire and American Van Lines. Due to this company's repeated willful negligence, what should have been a simple 3-day local move stretched over 10 days, stranding my family without access to basic necessities for a week. To give you a sense of the absurdity... on Day 1 of the move, they assigned a 3-person crew instead of the contractually promised 5-person crew to pack our home. AND dispatched this crew to the wrong address and city! As a result, the crew arrived at the origin only in the afternoon, and was able to work for only 3 hours. Day 2 wasn’t much better, as the same 3-person crew (instead of 5-person) arrived at 11am, and worked for only 5 hours. Our reserved window at the loading dock was over, while not a single box or furniture piece had left the origin. And they could not come back for another week. Most frustrating about this situation was that their dispatching and “move management” team was completely clueless and wholly unhelpful throughout the ordeal and failed to address the situation in a timely manner, even though the issues were reported in real time, both by us and their moving crew. Brian Maguire, who sold us the move package, was out of office during those two days (no prior notice to us), and did not provide the details of a person covering for him during his absence. Our repeated attempts to get in touch with a decision maker went unanswered. The damages caused by their negligence were substantial. We never received an explanation, apology or compensation for our trouble. The only thing that was offered to us was a $350 payment if we agreed to sign a non-disparagement agreement. The fact that they have someone ready to offer these documents indicates to me that they do this ALL THE TIME! Find a trustworthy and reliable moving company - American Van Lines is not it.

   All American Van Lines. I used them to move from Philadelphia to Jacksonville FL. I used my credit card for the deposit. No Problem. The movers show up the morning of the move and told me a 5% credit card fee would be charged to pay the fee!! 5%!! That’s a lot of money. I was never told that. I had to run to the bank and get cash to avoid the 5% fee, in the middle of a stressful moving day. That is highway robbery. When I called the mover’s office they were not helpful and smug. When they finally delivered my furniture to Florida I was ready with cash. Totally unprofessional. I would not recommend them. The final cost was much more than the original quote.

   Terrible Company

   This is the most unprofessional company I have ever used, not only did the price of my quote double upon arrival, when about 2 thirds of my stuff arrived, about a week and a half past the date it was due to be delivered, a single guy unloaded it and nothing got unpacked, unwrapped, not even my mattress was brought in from garage. It's now more than 2 weeks past the delivery date and I am still missing a third of my stuff and half my babies crib. No response from Emails, calls, messages. Worst company ever. And don't pay them until you get all your stuff because once you do you won't hear from them again. And when you do you get an attitude and told to call back tomorrow, which is when they won't answer during business hours.

   Awful experience don't use this company

   I moved from Philadelphia pa to Virginia Beach spent $3000 had a terrible experience. They broke so many things like my 60" tv & my vacuum which I can't replace. They broke my lamp and a shelf unit. Among many other things. They offered me $200 to accommodate all they broke with agreement to not share my experience, which I did not take. They left couch standing straight up in the middle of living room. They had boxes inside my wardrobe boxes n sealed shut. The driver was trying to force me to give him $600 extra dollars from the moment he started to load my items on truck. He asked in several ways including telling me to tip them each $200 I was afraid to say no because they had all my belongings. Not even furniture was put in correct rooms n I had no one to help me do that because I moved by myself to new state. The agent that was so helpful before I paid the $3000 I could not get in touch with on moving day or for some time after. I strongly suggest finding another moving company as this one was a nightmare. I will share my experience with as many people as I can to save anyone else from going through what I did with all American van lines!

   Company is a giant scam

   It took a month for our belongings to be delivered with no communication from the company. Upon delivery our brand new washer, brand new dryer, my husband’s brand new tool box along with thousands of dollars worth of new tools were all “lost in transit”, among many, many other items. No one will answer or return our calls now to file a claim. We received other people’s belongings as well. I’m so exhausted from dealing with this company. We’ve lost so much money from this whole ordeal, I fully, fully regret going with this company. We were robbed.

   Where are my belongings? Significantly delayed delivery!

   Contracting American Van Lines for my move was a huge mistake due to their poor customer service and extensive delay in delivering my belongings. Not only do they contract out to other moving companies, they also place belongings in storage before delivery. I was verbally told to expect my belongings to be delivered in 5 days by a senior moving coordinator, a response which he maintained even when I questioned why the delivery date had a range of 19 days on the binding estimate. At this point, it has been 24 days since my move, and my belongings have not yet been delivered. I was finally told earlier today that my things will hopefully be delivered in 1.5 weeks. I repeatedly had difficulty getting my personal moving coordinator to return my calls, and she has been unable to explain why delivery has been extensively delayed. During more than one phone conversation, my moving coordinator told me that she did not even know where my belongings were located. When I attempted to email her supervisor with the email address she provided to me, the email was returned, undeliverable. I attempted to speak with someone in management, but I have been unable to do so. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Thanks to American Van Lines, I've been sleeping on the floor for nearly a month because I have no bed. I had to purchase new clothing to wear to my new job because all of my business clothes are in some storage facility in an unknown state. I cannot believe that, in this day and age, my moving coordinator has been unable to tell me where my belongings are located.

   Deceptive Dishonest is Broker/Agent NOT a Carrier.

   American Van Lines - look up Anthony DiSorbo, President, Coral Springs, Fla., a spectacular house "off your and my dime"! AVL is NOT a Carrier they deceive you at the last minute and broker out your contract to numerous other "agents" so you don't actually know who has your personal belongings. Who.then is liable for your belongings when they are LOST and the warehouse they STORED your stuff in can't seem to find it! You contract with AVL for door to door service and you get your personal belongings STORED in a filthy warehouse for over 12 days, but they DON'T tell you this! Check out their "delivery window" on your contract! If you contract for door to door service why do they need 15-18 days to delivery your stuff. CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IN BROWARD COUNTY FLORIDA - Ashley Moody, to file a law suit! Just don't sit there, AVL knows how to play the game, they have been doing this for years to unsuspecting people! They reveal nothing, bring them to justice and make them Accountable for their deceptive, dishonest, false advertising along with their AGENT - Moving Relo who is just as guilty.

    Horrible experience!

    I recently had an experience with this company as well. Upon reading the last couple of reviews below I thought it was important that I also share my experience as this company cannot keep getting away with conducting business in the unprofessional manner they do, while charging a great deal of money for their services. I paid them over $8000.00 for my furniture delivery across states. Upon my initial calls I spoke to a man named Matt who seemed helpful, and we decided to proceed with hiring them. Well right after I signed their extensive contracts and paid half of the money due, their customer service drastically changed! They were completely unresponsive to my calls, refused to give me accurate information as to a window time so I could co-ordinate my acceptance of delivery in my new home, and kept adding new charges to my initial quote citing random additional amounts due for all kinds of things. My delivery became stressful and I felt pressured to accept all their charges and arbitrary rules because I already had paid close to $4000.00 and was in a contract. Things just got worse. When they came to pick up my delivery, they promised me a pack and move “team,” as I had paid almost an extra $1000.00 for this. Well their “packing team” consisted of the two drivers only who complained the entire time. I felt so overwhelmed with the way they were negatively trying to rush everything. As suspected the work was way too much for the two men alone in such a short time constraint, and they ended up leaving the contents of two entire bedrooms! They only packed the first two floors. We had to sell and donate all the extra things in the bedrooms and this was a nightmare. But they were now in possession of our stuff and we just wanted our expensive furniture delivered properly. This however was the ultimate fail. They showed up on a day they weren’t even scheduled to arrive with zero notice to us! Lucky I was even home to accept the large delivery. This delivery without notice was very unprofessional, but of course we were just happy to get our stuff. To make a long story short this new crew of three men ended up completely destroying a dresser, and our brand new painted walls. Disgusting! They said it was too bad and to contact the office for a claim. READ THE CLAIM FINE PRINT. They offered nothing close to the amount of damages we incurred and it was no point even going ahead with the claim. I would not recommend this company to anybody! They are rude, calculating, unaccountable and dishonest. They don’t care about you once their contract is signed and they receive their money. Horrible moving company and they should not be in business taking all our trusted money and leaving us stressed out the whole time, and with major unnecessary damages and financial losses. Listen to all these negative reviews carefully before choosing your moving company, as we have all been done wrong by American Van Lines and wouldn’t waste our time writing these experiences if they were not totally unacceptable and a complete disservice for your money and time!!
