   Scam, they keep your money it you cancel service

   I would give zero starts if I could. I contacted this company October 5, 2023, spoke with David Thomas. Booked a move and put a deposit of $943.00. I was notified My company contracts with someone else, so I cancelled the service. This company refused to refund my $943.00. Spoke with Tony Lamman. I aked him to speak with the owner, he said he did and refund was denied.I told him I didn't believe he spoke to anyone because I received no communication. I asked him if the owner wanted to provide good service to customers and he replied, "NO,MA'AM" Who dosn't want to provide great service to customers and get good ratings? This company sucks, STAY AWAY. USE ALLIED MOVIMG.

   I have moved 10+ times in my life and this is the first time I have been completely scammed by a moving company. We moved from CA to NC and have been completely robbed by AH, the final payment will be 4x the original quoted price and contract. We have had the worst experience with customer service, they serve as a broker. And once farmed out to the third party movers.. you are stuck! We are devastated financially and hope people read all reviews on BBB before booking with AH.

   RUN! - The WORST company ever!!

   Run, don’t walk, away from this company.!!! Completely dishonest. First, they are brokers & only arrange a second rate moving company to do the work. We hired them for a just out of college move from the Ann Arbor area to Boston. Their quote for just under $2500 (small one bedroom apartment) ended up almost doubling & didn’t show up until 3 weeks after the promised date. The actual moving company had extra charges for things I had specifically asked about & had been assured were included (first flight of stairs etc). They had THE worst customer service ever & in essence just said there was nothing more they could do. I flew to Boston to help my daughter fully expecting the truck to delivered on the promised Sept 1st only to have to scramble for the last available air mattress in the city. Long story short, I don’t fight with anyone but ended up in screaming matches with them. I had to fly back & forth a couple times due to their incompetence & unexplained delays. They had my daughter’s belongings for over a month before it was finally delivered. Do yourself a favor & avoid any brokers (ask specifically if they are the actual mover). Call a reputable mover or better yet consider hiring movers on both ends & drive the Uhaul yourself. My daughter’s move was last September & it’s taken me this long to simmer down enough to write even this “nice” of a review because was such a traumatic nightmare. Hopefully this saves you from making the same mistake!

   Disabled Veteran Ripped Off!

   I am a disabled veteran that served my country honorably. I was given a quote and cancelled within the 72 hours listed in their policy and they refused to give me a refund. Stating since I was on the west coast my request was one hour past the deadline. This is a scam company from the quote givers. to upper management I ask all my fellow veterans and military families not fall prey to these predators. They are the scum of the earth. I lost a leg in Afghanistan; trust me this company will rip you off for a leg and an arm! Please heed my warning, you will regret you dealt with this company!

   SCAM..!!

   I spoke with Matt Murphy for a quote to move 2 BR from Georgia to Virginia. After finding out I was a single female moving by myself he gave me a quote of $8100 for the move. He then became belligerent and verbally abusive when I told him I was not paying that much to move such a short distance. He called me multiple times back-to-back after being told not to contact me anymore. He then sends me two emails telling me how crazy and stupid I am for not accepting his quote. Stay away from this company.

   This company gives you a low estimate just to get your business then completely quadruples it by the time you are done, after you have paid non refundable deposits. They low ball you to suck you in them leave you hanging with a ridiculous bill or half your stuff not moved. Run!!

   They charged 12000.00 broke everything an stole clothes shoes an furniture and they don't care. They ask for 450.00 tip upon leaving my house and didn't tell me they were taking my things to New Jersey.

   DONOTUSETHISMOVER!!!!!!! A SCAM AND FRAUD!!!!!! Contacted and paid AHMS $1,735.00 to set up move from PA to Ohio (310 miles). After receiving estimate and paying what they told me was 2 partial payments of $1,735.00 and having two final cashiers' checks for $1,795.00 for the load and unload they gave a time of 1200 noon to show up. The driver showed at almost 7 PM and wanted another $1,000.00 to load!!! Stated too many CF, I measured and know I have 663 CF, he said it was 800 and wanted the additional cost. I refused and he left to the terminal in New Jersey. At the same time the delivery the next day was not going to happen and he was headed to terminal to have my goods reloaded on another truck who knows when delivery would actually occur. None of this was made known to me prior to setting up the move. Here is what they do; get you to pay upfront, tell their drivers to over estimate the CF needed to extort more money. They are a total scam, if you use them be prepared to pay well over the fair price for your move and they will handle your personal belongings at least 4 times causing damage and shortages of which they will pay you next to nothing if at all.......Do Not Use Them.     DO NOT USE!!! As other reviews show, they will extort your deposit when movers don't show up. They are a garbage company and act as a broker. The dates they promise you during the initial setup are not bound by anything and they allow the movers they broker to show up a day or two later without penalty. Please ask for Terms and Conditions prior to any dealings.
