   HORRIBLE! WILL NOT DELIVER MY ITEMS!

   THIS COMPANY IS A LESSON IN SCAM ARTISTS WHO WANT YOUR MONEY BUT DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO DO ANY OF THE ACTUAL WORK THEY ARE BEING PAID FOR. I have been trying to get hold of someone at this company to figure out where my items are. I was told they had 2-7 business days from pickup to deliver my items and they never showed up even though I scheduled them for November 6. They said that I never paid them, but I did and it did not clear their system and I did not receive any call back to fix the issue. And because they do not have a record of payment from me until November 8 (the day I called them to find out where they have my items and discovered this payment issue) they have 35 business days to deliver my items. There is a good chance that I will not get my items until December 27, because at this rate I am unable to give them the benefit of the doubt and think that they will deliver any time sooner than they absolutely have to before they are able to be sued. I was also told initially that they would hold my items on the truck rather than store them because it was only for one week, and found out today that my items were moved off of the truck and into their warehouse in Chicago. So not only are my things not where I was promised they would be, but I have to wait for them to have a truck available to drive from Chicago to Nashville which is going to be longer in the dispatch time. I have worked with Brittany, Tara, and Monique trying to get this figured out. Brittany was the diamond in the rough in that customer service department. Tara no-holds-barred yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me. Monique was no help, would not let me finish a sentence, and told me that I needed to "quit running my mouth". I tried to figure out who the General Manager was over there, and was finally (after about five minutes) told that his name was Eli. I asked for Eli's phone number, and was told that he does not have one but I could call customer service and they can transfer me to him. Which means he has a phone number but they won't give it to me. Okay fine, instead I then I asked if I could have his email address and was denied that as well. I asked for a last name so I can try contacting this individual on my own, and was almost told that he didn't have one of those either but Monique caught herself and just told me that they do not give out last names. So now my life is in their warehouse three states away, I am unable to live in my apartment because of it, and I have no idea when I will be getting my items. I will be reporting this to the BBB, and will work every day to find my items and get them delivered.

   Belongings Still Missing

   I unknowingly hired a moving broker-Flash Van Lines, LLC (also horrible company). They hired AHR to move our belongings from MO to TX. Upon arrival, we were told our things, which ended up being less than the quoted inventory, wouldn't fit on the truck so they only ended up taking 2/3 of our things. We paid half the amount left when they picked up, and three weeks later, still no ETA for our things. We keep getting told that dispatch never updated our payment at pickup so our things are still in a warehouse and haven't even been shipped. Customer service assured me this would be fixed. But today I receive an invoice stating what we owe and the amount at pickup wasn't updated so we have no idea when we will receive our belongings. They are currently holding our belongings despite being sent proof of the bill of lading that we have paid.

   29 days and still no stuff

   I was quoted $5384 which is in line with other quotes, definitely not the cheapest. On July 23rd, I had already left for Florida, they load up the truck in Indiana with a little more than half my stuff and then Eli calls me and says they have at least $9k on the truck and they’d have to come back for the rest cause I have WAY more than I stated on my estimate and it would cost over $13k to get the rest. I told him that’s not true because I walked room to room describing each and every item in detail and in fact sold even more items since the estimate occurred. Essentially I was moving a one bedroom house worth of stuff!! The stuff on the truck wasn’t even worth that much. I told them to not return and hired someone to get a moving truck and bring the rest of the stuff to me which was completed immediately. The movers, after loading up all my stuff, said to my neighbors that this is what they do to every customer and that it’s a scam. They said they were quitting as soon as they got paid. They were completely inexperienced in moving and did significant damage to many walls in my home. I requested a BOL/inventory list from AHR and finally after a week and half after pick up, they email it and it included items I don’t even own and things that were left in the home which had already had arrived on the 2nd truck I hired. It’s now August 21st, 29 days after pick up, and Eli hasn’t returned any calls or called me, since that first night 29 days ago. I’ve called so many times getting voicemail. I finally reached a Tara last week who claimed she’d talked to me MANY MANY times. I’m like HUH?? I’ve never spoken to anyone there except Eli the first night. I told her I was told 5-7 days, my contract says 5-14, and it’s been well over that. She then tells me there’s nothing she can do and to call Eli tomorrow. I do and they slam me on hold to never return. Not sure what they plan to do with a couple pieces of mediocre furniture and bunch of women’s clothing. They’d be better off delivering my stuff and giving me a partial bill.

THE PRICE YOU THOUGHT YOU WAS GOING TO PAY WILL BE 3 TIMES THE AMOUNT YOU AGREED TO. THEY ONLY DO USPS MONEY ORDERS BECAUSE IT GUARANTEES PAYMENT. YOU CANNOT PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON USPS MONEY ORDERS. USPS MONEY ORDERS DO NOT PROTECT THE CONSUMER, IT PROTECTS THE MERCHANT ONLY. THESE SCAMMERS HAVE THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING TO ONLY PROTECT THEMSELVES.

    Avoid at all costs

    I used National Relocation for my move from OH to WI. No idea they'd contract out to AHR. Raining for my pick up, I wanted to push it, but they said they'd be back in two weeks if I insisted, which was a deal breaker because of lease ending (they knew it was ending). For delivery, Jerry (#2 in co.) called me to say they only had one delivery person available and he put an ad on Craigslist for a guy in Milwaukee. I expressed my concern that a random, non-licensed/background-checked person would be involved. My concerns were ignored. The driver arrives alone. He insists everything is fine. I have a 6 foot dining table and other very large items he could not handle himself. I'm forced to send a Zelle payment to his Boss. I do not sign the contract consenting to begin unloading, he begins anyway. He didn't even have a dolly and asked me to drive him to Home Depot so he could buy one! I ask him to please stop and he threatens me, saying "you need to keep your cool and I'm going to lose mine." Mind you, all I was saying was "What's the plan? What are we doing here?" and "Please stop." I call his boss, who says to have him call him. He wouldn't pick up the calls. He doesn't respond, nor acknowledges anything I say. He just stares me down anytime I say anything. Then he abruptly stops, gets in the truck and drives away. Disappeared for an hour. Even though I'd ostensibly been robbed I couldn't call the police because what would happen to my stuff? Returns with a thing that old ladies use to carry grocery bags; I'm assuming that was the dolly -- didn't get used for anything. Eventually, I'm forced to help unload my own things just so he doesn't drag them across the concrete and into my home. Many of my items had heavy damage. They stacked a 60 lb. butcher block slab on top of my 51" flat screen! Every cardboard box was smashed in some way. This was an absolute nightmare.
