   Best Moving Company

   Moved from Etobicoke to Scarborough. Professional experienced movers, punctual, polite and they moved my items perfectly. Top of that they didn’t charge anything extra like other moving companies , they took the money what they deserve. I am impressed and I am going to recommend this company to my family n friends. Thank you once again Apollo, keep up the good work with honesty.

   Horrible Experience

   Horrible experience. Guy comes and tours the house to estimate size of truck, number of movers, time of move and cost. Get it in writing. Good start, but… On moving day they arrive 2 hours late. Movers claimed the truck wasn’t ready for them, while the office claimed the movers were late. Someone is lying, but whatever. Not everything fits on truck. Some furniture, outdoor items and kitchen stuff is left behind. Honestly, if we had to be out of the house that day we would have been in big trouble. We got a pickup truck and moved the rest ourselves the next day. Movers took an hour off for dinner. No problem. There were supposed to be wardrobe boxes so we could just put clothes on hangers in them for the move. There were none and we had to go out and buy plastic bags to dump our clothes in while the movers were packing the truck. They did remove the cost of the boxes from the bill when we asked them to. By 10pm we are nearing the end but they present us the bill before emptying the truck. The bill is 20% over the estimate. I phone the office and we are told it was a bigger job than was expected. He made the estimate based on what he saw! He knew what to expect. He got the wrong size truck and underestimated the time. He also said the movers took 20 minutes for dinner and we had to pay for the rest of the time. In the end, we had to pay the higher bill or we weren’t going to get the rest of our stuff off the truck. I will say that the three workers who did the labour were courteous and hard working. The office was rude, unprofessional and apparently unable to do their job properly. All in all, we felt scammed and robbed. Not to mention, we had to complete the move ourselves the next day with another truck. We do NOT recommend this company at all. STAY AWAY!!!

   Poor customer service skills and poor professionalism

   So Apollo Movers. Where to start.. One of THE worst experiences ever. Advice to all, Stay as far as U can.. So May 05. My moving day is May 06. I already scheduled some company ( Sudan Movers, also stay away), about a week ahead and deposit them. Deal was to come on may.06 at 9 am. These guys Cancel me at 7:30 pm day before , telling me that they have “emergency move” and they can’t be at dedicated time to do the job.. But this story it’s not about these guys. It’s about famous “APPOLO MOVERS” So here I am, searching for a truck and few guys to move me in a less of 24h. Many could but or wrong time or way overpriced ( I thought). So finally I come across the ad in Kijiji from APPOLO MOVERS. At first all went great. I call them, explain to them what I need , and ask THEM what time they are available. Simply I realize that I am not in a position to choose the timing or anything really. On my surprise guy from APPOLO told me they can come to my address between 9-10 am. Exelent I thought. It would be around 650 two person and a truck. I agreed. Moving day, 9:35 am I got a call, they are on a way, they will be at my place in 10-15 min. Great. 10:30 am still nobody show up. So I call, They are on a way 10-15 min will be there. Hmm I am very suspicious on that one but fine. 11:10 am, still nobody, I call 3-4 time nobody pick up, Then my wife called ( they didn’t know) and phone got pick up instantly. They told her 10min. Now I call again, it’s already pass 11:30, they guy on a phone said MY STUPID DRIVER FORGOT THE KEYS OF A TRUCK SO I HAD TO DRIVE TO GIVE HIM” I got discussed, I personally don’t tolerate ppl who call his on employees “ stupid, dumb, spoiled ,..) basically any bad word. Anyway, he said they will be there in …U can guess.. 10-15 min. So finally 12:15 he call me, they arrived. Two early 30’s guys, but with 2,an a half word of English. Anyway, we manage to make some communication and they start working just past 12:30. Load everything until 3-ish. Than they told me they will take a break.. So I went to new location, ( 20-25 min drive) Almost hour after me these guys arrived. Ok they unload everything really nice and precise.. 5:35, their “boss call me and telling me they are almost done, and it’s time for a money. I said , OK. At first I did not wanna pay a penny. But these guys really worked super hard, I so I thought let’s just pay because of them. The deal was 650, all of a sudden went up to 870, and that is with a 50$ Discaunt for over 3 hour late. So I ask him why. I got answer they worked 6 hours. Btw all this happening before 6 pm., And they actually start working after 12:30, plus they have a break of 30 min. Don’t get me wrong, guys who Carried my stuff are humans, they need a break. But that is up to company they work to pay them, not customers. Also price off truck include up to hour drive guy from APOLLO told me. This way would be double charge. Anyway, I said no.. I am not paying that. And I told the owner that he is very low human being, by calling his employees names, and I told him that hi hire them. So if they are dumb (How he said) how dumb he is by hire them. Anyway, It was almost an hour back and forth, and I said to a guy. Considering all, I would NOT pay a penny. But ppl need to be paid, so here is the deal. Option 1: full amount je estimate originally 650$. Option 2: zero..nothing. And I told him it’s up to him, nobody else. He hang up on me. 5 min later some other guy call me and start yelling at me, and accusing me how I don’t stand behind my own words. So I have to yell back at him at tell him that for him I am SIR. Not buddy, friend, bruh or whatever. SIR is the word as long someone pays you. He just told me to pay whatever to driver and hang up on me. At the end. I pay 650 to driver, And tip the guys. And learn a lessen NOT TO HIRE APOLLO MOVERS ever AGAIN.
