   Dimas and his crew were awesome! Friendly, courteous, careful, and fast! They arrived promptly and proceeded to pack a 5000 sq ft house that I had lived in for 27 years! I would not hesitate to recommend Sam and his company for any and all moves! Please feel free to contact me for a reference.    We couldn't be happier with out move! The movers were so helpful, hardworking , and organized We would recommend them to anyone !! They were on time , nice , beyond helpful, and fit our whole house perfectly! I was so shocked that everything fit But Jose Rachel a man with the last name Wilson and George when we moved were incredible I hope people use them !!

   I recently moved to a new place and used Available movers as my moving company- and that was the best decision I could take! these guys made my move smooth and painless. The team arrived on time and immediately started working. wrapping all my stuff very professionally end efficiently. I have a lot of fragile and delicate things and they made sure everything came in in one peace. They were very quick with bringing stuff up and the whole moving took only 3! hours. I would defiantly recommend them as THE moving company if you want a quality service and a decent price.

   My move with Available Movers from NY to WV went smooth and fast. Chris at the office was very nice and knowledgeable. On my move date Gili the Foreman arrived on time with his crew. They were very friendly and professional. Everything were loaded to their track very careful. All my items were delivered to me in good condition and on time. Highly recommended!

   Moving.

   This mover never contacted me for an estimate even though I called twice. Quoted me a rate that was half of what I actually ended up paying. Also, I had an argument with the movers as they refused to move some of my belongings saying that there was no more room. It was only after I checked the truck and saw there was plenty of room did they moved the items. They also made it known from the start that a tip was required.

   Do yourself a favor and call another company! I had sent in an itemized list of what needed to be moved more than a month before the move was to take place from Illinois to Indiana. I called two days before the move and I'm so glad that I did! The rep at the company said that the had no record of me and that I wasn't on the schedule for that Saturday! The person was very reassuring and said that they would be able to accommodate me, for which I was very grateful since I was scheduled to move on a Saturday in July. This individual also explained that I would have an empty truck and three people to move my belongings. Saturday dawned bright and sunny. The movers called and said that they would be at my house at noon. They showed up at 11 am before I had an opportunity to take a shower (we both forgot about the one-hour time change between New York and Chicago). There were only two men and a partially full truck. I was "allotted" 2000 cubes, which isn't that much space when you are trying to move the belongings from 30 years. The two movers were courteous, worked hard and seemed to do a decent job taking apart furniture, wrapping up my belongings, and packing them snugly in the truck. The men took two one-hour breaks for lunch and for dinner. We weren't finished packing up the truck until 11:30 that night. The men said that it was too late for them to deliver my furniture until the next day and that they were going to find a cheap hotel somewhere to sleep. I gave them some money to pay for an overnight stay. (They claimed the next day that they slept in the truck.) They would deliver my belongings the next day to my new home.I slept on the floor in my old house that night with my dogs to keep me warm. The next day (Sunday), the movers didn't show up until noon again. They asked me for payment before they would unload my belongings. I pulled out my credit card and they said that final delivery had to be in cash or a postal money order and that it stated so on the contract that I had signed. I told them that I had never received a contract, much less signed anything, and that I didn't have that much cash available and didn't know where to get it on a Sunday. They gave me the final total, which was double what the guy on the phone had verbally "quoted" me. I called my parents, who didn't know where I could get that kind of money on a Sunday. My stepmother said that she could pay it on a credit card, to which I explained their policy. She replied that they could either take a credit card that day or else come back on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week to get cash. I explained the dilemma to the mover, who called his boss and explained the situation. The boss agreed to let us use a credit card but then called back and charged us an additional 4% to cover the fee that the credit card company would charge him. Now the final cost was much more than double the verbal quote given to me. The men unpacked my belongings in front of some friends of mine, while I went back to my previous house to retrieve my dogs and some last-minute things. When I returned, the movers had already unpacked and left. I received a call later from one of them that they had broken a glass shelf on my bakers rack. I couldn't be reimbursed for it because they had never listed the bakers rack on the inventory list at all! I found all kinds of scratches on my beautiful cherry wood dining room table, they "forgot" the marble base to my coffee table although it was listed on the inventory sheet that I originally sent to the company, and they assembled the bunk bed/futon backwards and they had to take it apart and put it back together the correct way. Worst of all, they "lost" all of the connecting plugs and cables to my 55" Samsung television, which I didn't discover until a month later when I was having my cable hooked up (the cable guy couldn't even plug the TV into the wall outlet because the power cord was missing). Please don't be fooled by this company. I have no doubt at all that I would never have seen my belongings again if we hadn't worked out a payment arrangement for double the cost and an extra 4%.

   Destroyed Furniture.

   Please go else where! This moving company destroyed my furniture and did not even offer to pay for half of its costs. Never in my life have I experienced a moving company more unprofessional than this. They declared my furniture a total loss, took it, and then did not offer to pay me even half of what its worth. If you like your furniture and intend on keeping throughout a move, go elsewhere.

   Don't use these people.

   These folks do what movers do, which is to underestimate weight and cubic feet and then increase the price after they take your belongings, even though inventory is actually a little less than estimate is based.  Because I refused to pay additional undocumented charges they are holding my belongings hostage and refusing to deliver.  I filed a BBB complaint 14 days ago and they haven't responded at all.  I filed an additional complaint today with the FMCSA. In summary: 1) They only showed up on the day they confirmed because I demanded it but showed up well outside of the confirmed time window and kept me and my neighbors up until 4:30 in the morning to complete the move. 2) They have increased the price when it really should have lowered since there were items on the inventory not included in the move. They haven't documented anything to justify additional charges  3) They misquoted the insurance coverage and are either unable or unwilling to provide evidence of coverage. 4) They have threatened me with late fees when it is they who failed to collect payment at pick up.  5) They are currently holding my belongings hostage and refusing to deliver because I haven't agreed to pay additional unsubstantiated costs.

    Available Movers mediocre services.

    I’m writing this as a disappointment with Available Movers Company. Moving from New York to Florida or moving out of state is not easy. Customer service and communication before and during the move was good and prompt. The movers came to pick up our furniture and boxes right on the date and time established. The staff picking up our belongings was courteous and took the time to wrap and what I thought “protect” our furniture properly. Everything in New York was done well, and we were very satisfied with Available Movers services then. Problems started 10 days later when we agreed with the company to deliver our belongings. Available Movers utilizes third party services/movers to deliver belongings out-of-state. This third party never called us the day before delivery, like they did prior to picking up our belongings in NY. They called us the day of the delivery and said they would show up later that day to make the delivery. It seems like Available Movers and this third party company called “Wallace” in Florida had no communication whatsoever. The caller had an attitude and said they would charge me to bring our belongings to a second floor, when it was already stated on my contract with Available Movers that the first flight of stairs was included. They also wanted to charge me because an 18-wheeler would not fit into my apartment complex and they needed a shuttle to deliver our belongings. However, our furniture was just a one bedroom apartment and I did not see the need for an 18-wheeler for just that.  Then, they never showed up the same day they called, but meanwhile we were waiting all day for them. They called at 10pm that day saying that they were too far and that they will come the day after AND THAT THEY WOULD CHARGE ADDITIONALLY because of the next delivery. Completely unprofessional because we were available for them ALL DAY, but they never showed up. We completely refused to pay extra due to their incompetence. They were arguing with my husband over the phone multiple times. They showed up the next day, ALSO LATE and with an unprofessional attitude. They brought up our belongings and the biggest disappointment was to see many furniture items broken and unusable.  And whatever was not broken, was damaged or had defects that were not there prior to our move out-of-state. They left furniture all over the place and they did not accommodate it as the contract established. They left moving garbage all over my new home. My husband had to pick up part of the furniture 2 miles away from our home because they forgot to bring it all. My husband FELT INTIMIDATED BY THE STAFF and that is the reason he did it without arguing. On top of that they asked for a tip, were they serious? COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE AND MEDIOCRE-AT-BEST SERVICES. We ended up paying additionally for second floor and for the shuttle. We never received a receipt for these extra services, so maybe they kept the cash since we did not tip them.  I was not expecting everything to be perfect, maybe minor loses. But for the price we paid, we were better off buying all our furniture and belongings new.  I am very dissatisfied with Available Movers services.
