   Broken mirror never repaired!

   We had B & B movers move us from an apartment in Wausau to an apartment in Schofield, less than 4 miles. Charged us $85 more than the estimate and broke the stand on our floor length mirror. They were going to repair the stand and return our mirror. That was more than 4 months ago! Our phone calls and messages were not returned. Now calling both of there phones messages state that their mail boxes are full and are not accepting any more messages I would not have them move garbage to the dumpster much less my furniture.

   Poor.

   This company was the worst!  The appointment day and time was set up, however the movers never showed up.  This was on a Saturday at 8:00am. The company was called they tried to say they were scheduled the next day (they were not) and they would be there at 1:00pm then.  The next day came but they never showed up! We drove to the business and it was locked up tight and no one was around and no phone calls were answered! Terrible business management on this moving company's part.  You may want to consider a different type of business.  Perhaps one that doesn't deal with people who are relying on you to fulfill your agreement that you enter into.

   Did Not Show!!

   Original delievery scheduled for a Monday morning and they never showed up. Had to call them and then they said they would come Tuesday between 1 & 2. Called them at 2 on Tuesday and they said another hour. Called them at 3:30 and they said another hour or so. Called them at 5:03 and no answer. Left them several voice mails. At 7:00 PM we had to find a truck and anyone to help and moved ourselves. All of this was for my mother, who is 80 years old and just lost her husband two weeks prior. She was in tears the entire two days. The fact that they gave us the runaround and never had the decency to call us ONCE and notify us they had no intention of completing the job is completely unaceptable. This company should not be in business. This should not happen to anyone else. My next move is to contact the BBB and file a complaint. I would not use this company for anything.

   Damaged, Moldy Possessions When They Delivered.

   I put my household goods into storage with B& B Moving and Storage in Wausau and had them delivered when I secured a permanent residence.  They were in storage with this company about 2 1/2 months. When my possessions were delivered many of the pieces were damaged.  One antique cupboard had had three of the four hand-wrought hinges knocked off and the piece was delivered with a large cord tied around it to hold the doors shut.  Another piece, a hand-made cabinet that my deceased father had made, arrived covered with mold.  Cartons had been crushed because of the poor storage and moving around of the goods by B&B. When I contacted one of the owners it took him three calls before he returned a call.  Then it took another three calls to force him to come to my house to assess the damage, and I live only 3 blocks from his business!  I pointed out the damages, including a porch floorboard that had been broken when one of his staff was unloading my goods and showed my how soft the board supposedly was by jumping up and down on it until it broke. He took notes on his clipboard, promised he would take care of the damages.  And has refused to return any of my calls since.  His company is not a member of the BBB so I have been unable to file a complaint with them. And I know that the mold came from his warehouse: I have a close personal friend who was storing some items there and when she went down to get some things out of storage I went with her and she, too, had mold on her items and there was mold everywhere on the walls and ceilings of the warehouse.  Additionally, items for her - and others as well - were stacked up without regard to the weight of each item or carton. If you value your possession, DO NOT hire this company for either moving or storage!!  .
