   Cross country move.

   I was a little trepidatious going into the move, since I made all the arrangements from California by telephone, on the basis of a super high recommendation from the managers of the storage facility I was using in Massachusetts. Their own manager had used Begin Moving for her own move, and they had seen plenty of movers come and go. Still.. it was odd to work long distance. But they couldn't have been better at communicating. I did get to Massachusetts a month before the move and worked with them to make an inventory of my things, but that's it. I told them I would need some things re-boxed, since I had hastily moved things from my home in town to storage, and not prepared them for a cross-country move. They went way above and beyond, calling me several times the day of the move when they had questions, repacking things better than I ever would have, for minimal cost--well worth it.. nothing arrived broken. And they were great people, so helpful in unloading and placing things and putting dismantled beds together--and so nice and pleasant as well. I had the feeling of being part of a team -- a very competent team. "Wonderful, wonderful!!" I wrote to the home office as soon as they left. I stand by my words.

   Moving Experience.

   After my initial moving company cancelled on me the day of my big move from Worcester to downtown Boston, I quickly contacted Begin Moving as I heard they were most reliable and willing to work with customers on last minute projects.   Jack answered my call right away and was able to procure two movers and a truck in order to execute the move that I had been planning months in advance.  Jack and his movers, TJ and Josh, all worked with me last minute to make sure I was in Boston with my belongings on the day I was set to move out of storage and into my new home.  Not only were the staff punctual and efficient, they were friendly, affordable and made the entire moving experience so easy!  I can honestly say this was the easiest move I've experienced..no drama, no waiting for movers to show up, no wasting time..just quality work done and all of my belongings delivered in perfect condition.       Thank you again to Jack and staff of Begin Moving.  I highly recommend their services!    Moving Nightmare.

   Through Moving Staffers, Begin Moving LLC sent three individuals to pack our items into ABF trailers.  The first trailer was not packed full and we had to pay for the trailer space that they did not use.  The second trailer was packed poorly.  Items fell in transit because they were not securely or tightly packed and the majority of my wood furniture arrived damaged. They used only paper to wrap my furniture even though we had blankets available. The moving experience of the crew was questionable.  Unfortunately, I did not watch/supervise what they were doing because I didn't realize that I was supposed to do this because I was under the impression and had been assured by Moving Staffers that the crew were "moving professionals". Neither Moving Staffers or Begin Moving would accept any responsibility for the condition of my furniture upon arrival. The labor was VERY expensive.  I would not recommend this company.  And I would strongly suggest that people moving hire their own moving labor staff directly.
