   I hired Boerman Movers to move from my home of 37 years to my new home that was 40 minutes away. I was in an emotional daze, but the professionalism of the moving crew saved the day. My furniture and belongings were handled with care on both ends of the move. When they arrived at my new home, they laid down cardboard to protect my new hardwood floor. My furniture was put together meticulously and I was able to find any box I looked for. The team put them in each room as the boxes were labeled. They even put my mattress in the specific position I requested. I was grateful for their kindness and efficiency. Of course the cost was very reasonable. I would hire them again and recommend Boerman Movers to anyone.

   Excellent Customer Oriented Service.

   Boerman Movers was strongly recommended by our well-respected realtor. I interviewed them in spite of the listed two year-old Yelp posts with negative ratings. I am really glad I did. I found them to be customer service oriented with exceptional integrity and honesty. They delivered on both their quoted price and lead-time commitment for our moving schedule. We used them for our local downsizing move and fine furniture transportation for our daughter's new home in California. Most important, we felt Boerman's full service team really listened and responded to our needs. Each and every member of their team from our sales representative, Mike Boerman, to his expert move coordinators to the dedicated folks that moved our things treated us and our belongings with a high level of respect and personal care. Moving can be a very stressful time and the decision to hire Boerman made a real difference in making it easier and worry free. I highly recommend Boerman Moving and Storage.. They are terrific!

   A Great Moving Experience.

   We used Boerman for a recent local move.  Mike came out to our house to provide an estimate and additional information to help us prepare for the move.The day of the pickup, the truck was on time.  The movers were very thorough and courteous.  They walked through the house to make sure they understood what to move.  They covered the floors where needed to make sure to keep things as clean as possible.  They were very efficient getting the house packed up. Boerman held our goods on the truck for two days while we dealt with the sale of our old home and purchase of our new home.  The day of the delivery, the truck was on time again.  We had the same crew for the delivery, so we didn't have issues with how to put furniture back together or what went into which room.  They did a walk through of the house to make sure they understood where everything went.  They asked questions during the delivery when they weren't sure where something should go. The total move cost was within $50 (1.5%) of what Mike had provided as the initial estimate.  We were very happy with the service received and highly recommend them.

   Excellent Experience!!

   We hired Boerman movers out of Woodridge, IL. to move my parents out of their Tri Level to a one level. The men that came to move my parents were all outstanding!! I can not say enough about these 6 guys - I wish I knew each and every one of their names because I would like to thank them all personally. They were so nice they even offered to help my dad across a busy highway to get safely to his car!! The job was alot more then anticipated and they all kept their sense of humor even after a really long work day. They seemed more concerned about how my parents were doing through all this move then their own needs. I have never seen such hard working guys!! My parents were so happy with them and we would all highly recommend Boreman movers these guys are all top notch professionals!! Thank you sooooo much!!

   Outstanding company.

   Outstanding company! Our experience with Boerman movers was completely positive from beginning to end. We first met Mike Boerman when he came to give us an estimate. He quickly (and correctly) estimated our move- time, manpower, truck size and materials needed.  From that day forward everyone at Boerman movers was incredibly helpful with whatever we needed. From Selena in the front office, to the move coordinator, and certainly the 5 men who worked so hard on moving day. They were courteous, respectful and even cheerful all day long. We appreciated their attention to detail, not only with our furnishings but with both properties as well. And, both Mike and his mother checked with us on moving day to make sure all was going as planned. Boerman Movers turned what could have been a very stressful event into a very pleasant memory. .

   Boerman Moving.

   The most wonderful experience ever.  Moving can be stressful. But not with Boermann.  They basically did two moves for me in one day.  12 hours long and they couldn't have been more cheerful and pleasant. They are super helpful, professional, accomodating and so nice to work with. Everything arrived and was set up perfectly. .. From Mike coming to my house to quote the job, to Rafi setting up my cable, they are simply outstanding. .

   Best movers I've ever had (out of 16 moves!).

   Mike Boerman arrived on time, well dressed and fully prepared to provide me with a professional estimate as well as presenting me with a pamphlet with helpful moving tips. Just by looking at the contents of my home, he was able to estimate exactly how many boxes I needed. He quite accurately estimated the amount of time and man power the move required. Mike went out of his way to ensure a smooth move for me. The movers were properly dressed, extremely professional, and more capable of this job than I have ever seen. I've had horrible experiences in the past and I'm not exaggerating when I say Boerman Moving & Storage are the best movers I've ever used. This was move number 16 for me, so I've had more than my share of experience with movers. Everything that needed to be protected was properly wrapped and the movers carried huge heavy boxes without one complaint. I am so relieved to have found them, I only wish I had found them a long long time ago! Their prices are extremely fair and reasonable. I found the entire team to be very trustworthy, with a very strong work ethic, reliable and very professional. I have a back injury and Mike even offered to come by my new home himself to help haul away the empty boxes, after I was all moved in! He went way above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with their services. I cannot recommend them strongly enough! If you have any sort of moving or storage needs, call Boerman Moving & Storage!

   Couldn't be happier with the whole experience with Boerman-Bekins. Everyone we had contact with from Mike to the office staff to the movers were pleasant and professional. We would recommend them to everyone. We hope to never to have to move again, but if we do, it will be with them.

   Moving Boxes.

   I paid $3900 to move from one side of town to the other. The packers were great, the movers were wonderful and couldn't have been nicer guys. The office staff was fine as well and worked with me since the mortgage company had a stall at the very end. Everything was great, however. I was told they'd come and get the last of the boxes, to take my time unpacking and not to worry. I have tried to get them to come and get the balance of the boxes and I've been told they can't since they are so busy. I was also told I could put them in my car and drop them off. If I could move them I would have by now instead of waiting for service. They left their moving clothes and had no issues coming to get them a week later. But now I'm stuck with boxes I can't get out of my house. Lousy customer service as far as I'm concerned for my $ 3900.

    OK for local move -- beware of using them for cross-country move.

    We used these movers for a local move (from Bolingbrook, IL to Elgin, IL) in 2014. They did a great job! It was a quick and overwhelmingly successful move -- loaded up and moved out of Bolingbrook house, traveled across Chicagoland, and into Elgin house in one day with no damage. Cross country move from Elgin, IL to Colorado with 2 months of storage between loading and delivering was unsatisfactory. The loading in Illinois was fine, and were told our household goods were being loaded into crates which would then be transferred to climate-controlled storage, and then when we were ready to receive it in Colorado they would load the crates onto trucks and drive to Colorado and deliver to our new home. Upon unloading in Colorado it became apparent that our belongings were unpacked from the initial crates and rammed into space smaller than needed with resulting broken chairs, crushed boxes (about half of our boxes were crushed), and most annoying, EVERYTHING that could be taken apart was taken apart, and only about half of it was reassembled at our new house. We are left with a box of "parts" that we have no idea what they go to because we did not take things apart! Incredibly, they took the beater bar off the bottom of our upright vacuum (what space would that save?), and put it back on backwards -- so when I used it at my new house the belt kept falling off until I realized what had happened! I would not use them again for a cross-country move.
