   Hauling away junk furniture

   They were on time took away our sectional and were very pleasant. I would definitely use them again. They also were very careful about our walls. Not one scratch. I am going to recommend this company to everyone.

   Movers were great!

   Loved the movers ,didnt like the hidden fees. 5 hours at $169 = $130? I wasn't the best student, but that seems off to me. Plus, no military discount! Yes, I believe ? deserve respect from everybody or company!

   Kept Deposit

   I tentatively made an appointment as I was told schedules were getting backed up and I could always cancel with the deposit returned. Plans changed and I cancelled service the same day (~10 minutes after making). My $99 still has not been refunded. This was nearly 50 days ago. I have spoken with 5 different reps who all tell me the same thing - it will be fixed, someone will contact me “tomorrow” etc. What’s sad is I’ve used their services in the past and everything was great. I now feel like I’m getting scammed. Will report to Washington State Consumer Affairs office if a resolution isn’t made. Be weary of giving them a deposit!

   Local move - Worst move ever

   I was extremely disappointed with my move with College Hunks. Communication was poor from the start. I informed them ahead of time that I had several items in the basement, including a treadmill, but no one mentioned it would need to be disassembled before moving day. Instead, I was left to disassemble it on the spot and am not even sure I will be able to reassemble it correctly. The crew also caused damage to both the home we left and the home we moved into, including gouges and black marks on walls and a door frame. They also tracked mud into the house. At the destination, numerous items were not placed where they belonged, creating additional work for me after the move. When it started raining, instead of completing the move properly, the crew piled basement items in my garage, blocking access to my car. Those items could have been taken downstairs using the interior stairs, but they chose not to do so and left them for me to deal with. One item is so heavy that I will now have to pay someone else to move it. To make matters worse, my attempts to address these issues with the company have gone unanswered. Overall, this move resulted in property damage, extra work, and additional expense. I expected far better communication, professionalism, and customer service. I would not recommend College Hunks.

   Discrimination of the disabled

   They belittled and accuse customers of crimes. The CEOs will not address ANY issue you may have. Once your done with your move, youll never hear from them again. VP in Orlando is unhinged and verbally acts customers. The owner will not address this because Amanda is his boss in the relationship.

   They don't show up.

   Wanted them to quote on packing services for a move. Made an appointment (which they said was required for them to assess the packing needs), they gave me a 2-hour window of when they would show up. 2.5 hours in, nobody showed up or called. I called customer service, who said someone would call me back immediately with an update - didn't happen. 3 hours in, I called again, got the same story, that someone would call me back immediately. Never happened. 5.5 hours later, still nothing. I hired someone else to pack while I was waiting on them to keep their word, fortunately. The other company was able to quote over the phone and in writing via text/email. What a crazy amount of time I have wasted on this company, and I am quite mad about it.

   Very misleading, a lot of hidden fees and dishonest. They pulled up in a truck almost full of junk and stated it was half full. After loading my items, he charged me for over half of truck. Also, included other charges that I was never informed about. I will not recommend them to anyone.

   Don't Waste Your Time!

   The franchisee serving the Prosper Frisco, McKinney market, and Colin County area for College Hunks Hauling Junk, exemplifies the epitome of unreliability, deceit, and unprofessionalism. Despite agreeing to a crucial office and warehouse cleanout donation pickup within a two-hour window from 10 AM to noon, they shamelessly failed to uphold their commitment. Instead, they nonchalantly texted at 12:10, lazily pushing the arrival time to between one and 1:30. To make matters worse, around four o'clock, they concocted a feeble excuse, citing an excessively long line at the dump as the reason for their tardiness. However, upon independent verification, it was clear that this was nothing but a blatant lie. Their flagrant disregard for punctuality, coupled with their shameless fabrications, underscores their utter lack of integrity and professionalism. Jonathan, the franchisee, reached new lows of unprofessionalism, culminating in a callous "we're good" before abruptly hanging up after canceling the appointment. No one should trust them, and buyers should beware of their deceptive practices, as College Hunks Hauling Junk should be deeply ashamed to have such deceitful representation tarnishing their brand.

   Horrible company bordering on unethical

   If I could give zero stars I would. I contracted this company to move my mother with advanced cancer into an assisted living community. They showed up with half the crew needed (the second half showed up hours later), they took so long packing up a 1 story house that it was 5pm before they asked my exhausted mother to do a walk through. Every single room in the house had items left, trash everywhere and an entire storage area left untouched. I called the company to make it right, but they were UNAPOLOGETIC, didn't care I had to take ANOTHER DAY OFF WORK and they were going to CHARGE ME a flimsy discount rate to come out and fix their mistake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
