   Packing For Move.

   I am very satisfied with Cousin's USA for helping me prepare for the sale of my home. They worked with me to pack up all items that cluttered up my house. They were very good at giving sugestions on presenting the property in an appealing manner. Every thing for storing items until we move was given to me in writing and details on the move and delivery and was explained completely. It is a pleasure dealing with such understanding people. The workers were pleasant and worked in an efficient careful manner.

   Very happy with Cousins Moving company. The salesman, Aaron was very informative and easy to talk to. He supplied all of the information I needed to make this move as easy as possible. The movers were on time and very courteous. They were careful of my belongings and assisted with last minute boxing of large items.  I would highly recommend this moving company.

   The packing crew came late the first day and for one of them it was the first time on the job. He had obviously no training and packed very expensive items on an expensive table which he scratched.   After they left I noticed that the top of one of the boxes was bulging, indicating that it was over packed. The next day when a different crew showed up I pointed this out to them and they told me it was his first day on the job and I mentioned that I was worried about the items inside the box. They removed some of the items so that it was packed level.   After they truck was unloaded at the new Florida location and I started unpacking my items I noticed that many item was damaged. All these items had been packed by the same untrained person.   After about five month and very little response I received a check for about ONE percent of the value I claimed. Their response was as good as none, phone calls and email went mostly unanswered.   The really don’t care about you the customer, but are purely money motivated. Please don’t use them, I lost thousand as well as items that can’t be replaced. On a positive note the packing crew of the second day was better and the crew that unloaded the truck was better even though they damaged some of my interior wall.  .

   Bad business practices.

   I contacted Cousins for a moving quote. I went with another company and let them know. I continued to get calls from them two months after my move. At first they called daily, in Hawaii, at ungodly hours of the morning. I let the company know several times in writing and on the phone that I had already moved. The volume of calls was abusive.

    Cousin's Moving - Horrendous - Run Away FAST!!!!

    First off, I can't give a zero rating or a negative 5 which may be more appropriate. We moved from S. Florida to Western NY items were loaded in August 2022 and delivered to new address in Dec 2022. The experience on the load side....the kitchen guy that packed all the glassware....perfection not a broken glass anywhere!!! the rest of the move they broke our stairs (Cousins did fix this). However, they broke it with our master bedroom furniture that was around 15k and took 12 months to get. They pieces are all heavily marred and damaged. They broke glass scounce globes and hid them in the corner of the garage (not knowing my wife is a neat freak and found them cleaning everything out). Tools were damaged (safety guard broken right form a hedge trimmer - anyone know how to use a hedge trimmer safely without a safety guard? We are missing numerous boxes that until we come across something we are missing we will never know what it was. To top it off we paid around $1000.00 per month to Clem and the cast of clowns to store our stuff.....I think we paid them to take their time and pilfer through our stuff....missing rugs and other items. In addition, my wife had an old cameo that the box arrived empty. Wonder where that went? All in all, I've used Cousins in the past with much different results. However, they have taken a satisfied customer and one that has referred a fair amount of business to them over the years into one that won't refer anyone and potentially would never use them again... Why do you ask? Because Clem hasn't responded to any messages I've left or anything! If he actually made it look like he cared, I might upgrade this to a 3 if he gave us back the money we paid for storage as he definitely didn't store it with care and refunded $5k to cover the damaged and missing items. I will post again if he actually does anything. We will be contacting BBB tomorrow.
