   It took a very long time for our items to arrive. They were missing a chair to the dining room set. They kept telling me it was missing. I now believe it was destroyed. Do NOT hire this company under ANY circumstances! Move Size: Two Rooms Service Cost: $1200

   Upsetting.

   They picked up my items on July 18th, 2017. I was told it would arrive in 7-14 business days. It is now September 1st, 2017. I have not been able to make contact with the owner since August 18th, 2017. They continuously came up with excuses as to why my delivery was delayed, and now I am being ignored. I am very upset because now not only do they have my furniture, but they also have many items of sentimental value that I could never replace. And it could now be gone forever. They also required I pay most of the money up front, unfortunately I was not educated on what a reputable mover will require and I agreed and gave them a cashiers check. Please do not make the same mistake I did, do not choose this company!

   File a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration online at nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov or 1-888-368-7238. Next review the carrier/broker on the Better Business Bureau in their local area to let others know of your experience. You may not get your goods or money back but you'll help others in making their decision about who to hire. Moving fraud has become a heartless industry and must be stopped. They took our shipment, told us it weighed 3X what it actually weighed, held it for ransom, gave us daily doses of BS and two months later, due to a massive blitz on our part (reviews, complaints, phone calls, lawyer BBB etc) we got to pick it up a few hours from origin. We were actually lucky, others have reviewed worse stories. By the time we got the stuff, that $1700 binding estimate cost us $5000, including the replacement items we needed to live, renting a truck and 3 men to P/U at a warehouse (8 hour round trip), and hiring a new mover. Never mind the stress and time we spent trying to find out where our valuables were and sleeping on a blow up mattress for 9 weeks!

   A Horrible Moving Experience.

   This company and the employees that we dealt with were absolutely awful, the truck was so late that we missed leaving for our walk through for our settlement in another state and this created our settlement to be pushed back,they were do between 1 & 3pm and arrived at 10 pm and left at 6am,there wasn't enough room on the truck because Juan Rivera told the drivers that he subbed out to that we had less belongings than we actually did,this created us at 4 am to wake a friend up to bring over his pickup to make 6 trips to our other friends garage for storage until they could send another truck,which arrived at 4 pm the next afternoon,we were in a rental property and needed to be out on time and we weren't,we had nights booked at la Quinta and missed our first night there, and as I said created a debacle for our settlement. Five star will quote you a not to exceed cost binding estimate and then they will call and say you owe more money because of the weight being more without actually weighing your things or giving you a bill of lading with weights with the truck empty and full with your things,then to make matters worse they take unauthorized money out of your acct,next the damage to our things was disgusting,crushed,broken,bent,dent and shattered comes to mind,once they have your things you can never reach them,next they subbed out to another company for delivery which they tell you they don't do , liars! We are told we owe more money then we do and had to pay it or our things wouldn't be taken off the truck,and this was at 9 pm,nothing was set up as promised and both times my husband had to help to get the job done,you',d think for tips they had gotten this wouldn't have happen!! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company! Not a professional bone in their bodies!!If I had a camera I would have taken pictures,I'm really upset with myself that I didn't and that I chose this company, I hope that the one good thing that came from our awful experience is that we can keep others from going through this!! Good luck on anyone trying to chose a mover it's not an easy task!

   Damage Claim Response.

   I submitted a claim for damaged and missing items including pictures of damages on 8-11-2011. To date and after numerous emails and phone calls, I have not received so much as an acknowledgement of my claim or a return response. I even contacted the New Jersey Better Business Bureau in hopes that they would be able to get some info. They received the same treatment that I got. No Response!! Doing business with this disreputable company is doing so at your own risk. What a fly by night company!!
