   Great lads and hard working team

   We moved from Knaresborough to Beverley this month (September) and had an acceptable quote from Danny who was always helpful in terms of getting back to us on the move. The guys turned up early as Knaresborough gets a bit busier on a weekend/sunny days, so we were pleased when the two vans turned up and they guys started loading up. There were a couple of pieces of very large furniture and some heavy pieces too. All was done with minimum fuss; you could see the lads were working hard with the sweat!! Having moved myself a few times in the past, I know it is always harder and longer than you think. I'm so glad we used Focus Removals Yorkshire, as they did all the work and that took the stress out of the move. Items transported across to Beverley and unloaded - nothing was damaged or broken which is a great relief when you read about so many firms being rough with your things. The guys put everything into the new place (3 storeys so again would have been a real pain for me and my family/friends to have done it all!). Absolutely no complaints from us. Great outcome all round and would definitely recommend using. Only downside, Liverpool only managed a draw that day and I know one of the guys was a fellow Red :)

   Moving Home

   We used this company on 8th of June 2021 moving aprox 60 miles .The lads were very efficient and turned up on time . Everything went very smoothly and according to plan , there was no stress ,nothing was too much trouble for these guys . Removal costs were very reasonable and competitive, so much so we find ourselves moving again three months later Sept. 23rd 2021 andhad no hesitation to use focus again ,no need to look elsewhere, we are now recommending these guys to other people Well done Focus .    Move from Bradford to Harrogate

   Although the team arrived a bit later than I expected, they more than made up for any lost time with hard work and enthusiasm. They handled my property with great care, packed the van with plenty of cushioning to prevent scratches and breakages and did some disassembling for me. The guys were good humoured and courteous and wished me well in my new home. Not only was Focus’ quote highly competitive, the service represented good value for money. Danny and his colleagues in the office were helpful and efficient. I would definitely use them again.

   Courteous and Efficient

   Nobody likes the experience of moving house and the choice of removal company can make an enormous difference. We were extremely fortunate with Focus Yorkshire who made us feel completely in control and at ease before, during and after the move. Communication was excellent from the outset- swift and clear quotation provided and uncomplicated arrangements made. On the day of the move the packers worked quickly and carefully and we were ready to go well before the expected departure point. The vans were packed carefully and thoughtfully which made the unloading really straightforward. At the new house we had one or two items of furniture that were awkward to get in but the team worked hard to make it work! The whole group were good humoured (despite the raging heat) and concerned to make sure everything was done properly right through to the removal of the boxes. They were also great with the kids. In short, it was an exemplary service at a very reasonable price and we would definitely use them again.

   PERFECT

   Jay and Callum and of course Danny, James, so helpful, reassuring, happy , confident . I felt safe within jay and Callum's presence, being a single female with children, they were competent and knew exactly what they were doing, they just got on with the job, Would recommend these guys to anyone.

   I chose Focus based on the good reviews I had read. I wasn't disappointed. It was a very hot day and the lads were up and down the lift to the 4th floor for hours without any grumbles. They could not have been more helpful. I would recommend them without hesitation.

    DIY…

    Lads were great who did the actual moving. Can’t fault them. Super helpful and apologetic when things didn’t go to plan. Even helped vacuum and tidy after loading. However a poorly managed company and I wouldn’t recommend . We had to move significant amounts of our stuff ourselves as one van was 9 hours late as had been pulled over by VOSA being overloaded - an issue completely within their control. I had to drive back 4 hours (York to Berkshire), hire a trailer and move solo tumble dryer washing machine and fridge and dump a significant amount of stuff we would have kept. No offer to help following the move date as their lads were on other jobs. Danny promised a small compensation amount (less than 10%) and had the opportunity to close the matter there but despite chasing hasn’t surfaced. Will be taking further action due to stress, additional time off work and out of pocket expenses
