   GetMovers is an awesome moving company. Their prices are reasonable, and the service is top-notch. The movers moved our stuff very quickly with care and completing the job within the estimated time. Fast reliable and very professional with the way they conduct themselves and with the moving.    This company helped us with our recent move. They were super quick and careful with our stuff. They brought all the packing materials I needed only charged me for the ones we used. It was a long move from Barrie to MacTier, and it's been 9 hours total. It was a great experience, to see these guys do their job, they acted really professional.

   Fair treatment (moving and storage)

   I needed short-term storage during a transitional period, and Get Movers helped me to find a solution. They don't have a storage unit of their own, but they colleced quotes for me when I confirmed that I am going to go ahead and book a move with them. They did not charge extra for thosem by the way, which is really nice of them. When I was ready to retrieve my items, they promptly scheduled the delivery, and everything was in perfect condition.

   I recently hired this moving company for my cross-country move, and I cannot praise them enough. From the moment I contacted them for a quote until the last box was unloaded, their service was outstanding. The movers were efficient, courteous, and took great care of my belongings.    Pretty good

   My experience with this company was good overall. Their crew was really quick about the move, It even seemed like they were in a rush. But nothing was damaged in the end, and the move was done in 5 hours, although it was a 2-bedroom apartment. They were not able to send the receipt in the same evening, but the next morning I received it, so no complaints.

   Local move done right

   This company took proper care about my move from Ottawa to Gatineau, and the total time they spent was just past 4 hours, so they charged me just for 4 hours, although they could have charged for 4 and a half. I really appreciate such approach to their job. They disassembled and reassembled all the stuff I needed, were quick about that as well. The guys who were doing the job were really polite and nice with me, seemed like they really enjoy the job and have some good vibes within their crew.

   High-quality service

   This company was surprisingly fast and attentive to my requests. They've brought extra packaging material and took were very careful to our stuff overall. We had to find a moving company in the very last moment cause the other company did not manage to find a truck for us, even though we booked many days in advance. Get movers arrived the same day we booked and finished their job really quick. Also I have to mention that all the calls we made were answered really quick and all the people we talked to were really polite and helpful. Strongly recommend these guys.

    DISHONEST

    BEWARE**** SCAMMERS ***** Don’t fall for the fake 5 star reviews. People are pressured by the movers to give a positive review when they are almost finished. Literally begging for a positive review otherwise they get in trouble from their office and don’t get any paid in full. After a 16 hour exhausted day of prepping, packing and directing, these guys kept pressuring for a positive review. So here you go; - they showed up with ZERO wardrobe boxes even though we requested 8 which was an extra cost to book. Then told me to go to home depot and buy them (in the middle of my moving day) and of course Home Depot had none. We had to throw 6 closets of clothes into boxes we bought on the fly. - took hours wrapping things excessively in plastic wrap (instead of using moving blankets because they did t have any) so they could bill more hours - charged for extra $200 for each dresser (there were 4) because they were over 200 lbs (they were not solid wood and nowhere near 200 lbs) - they were unable to get a sofa out of the door claiming it would not fit. Well it came in the same door. My husband and son went back the next day and got it through in 10 min. - they turned a 5-6 hour move (3 bdrm house with basement) into a 10 hour move with added costs and a $900 estimate to $2600!! - the movers fought amongst themselves several times. One stayed in the truck while the other two did all the actual moving which caused several fights. - because they dragged out packing everything by the end of the night there was no time to put together bed frames or remove all the plastic which they wrapped everything. -the next day we started removing all the plastic and of course damage galore. Our 70” tv had a tiny crack which killed the picture. The headboard was ripped in on corner where it was dragged ripping the plastic and upholstery. Sofa was dirty in several spots from the truck, antique vitrola (which we asked them to be extra gentle with was put on its side (we had to ask them to keep it upright) Somehow still got damaged. The screws To attach the dining table, top to the base went missing and on and on and on. And the cherry on the top is after we called the next day with the damages, they sent me a claim form asked me to fill it in and said they would get back to me “I followed up consistently called emailed and after one year I finally pushed them to respond to my claim respond to my claim and the response they sent said they were not gonna honour anything in the complaint because it should’ve been pointed out to the movers on the day before they left. Then why send me the claim form at all?
