   Reasonable price, excellent communication, flawless service. Booked a move from London to Edinburgh with relatively short notice and they managed to arrange things so we could receive our items within a week. We were quoted a reasonable price considering the distance of the move, had excellent communication throughout the entire process and received our items in perfect condition.

   Godwins offer fast, efficient and quality service

   From the initial telephone enquiry, Godwins made sure they gathered your requirements - what type of move ie room, flat... the amout of items, making sure we had the right size van, the location from and destination; the number of staff needed. I was offered a very good overall price. On the move day, Godwins arrived on time, was friendly and helpful throughout, was very careful moving items to prevent damage to items and property, including using trolleys. I would definately use Godwins Removals again, I highly recommend.

   In Godwin we trust!

   Wonderful service. Godwin moved our entire two-bedroom London flat to Holywood N.I and made the transition as stress-free as humanly possible. The removal plan was executed to the letter, the packing was masterful and meticulous (not one item damaged, despite our mountain of belongings) and Godwin was a joy to work with. I can't recommend his company high enough. Outstanding.

   Excellent service - picked up furniture in Chester and delivered to Belfast. Good communication and very efficient. Would definitely recommend this removal service. Price was reasonable and all furniture delivered safely.

   Not sure if this company is a franchise but beware rogues

   I hired Godwins on the basis of 1) The very competitive price 2) The positive reviews on their site. However, the service I got was very poor: In discussions and in text I described the move which was one piece of heavy furniture from my family in Birmingham to London. I explained that they would have to take a door off a room at collection, that the furniture may or may not fit in the lift at delivery, and that we are on the 6th floor of our building. They took the job on this basis, telling me they had been doing removals for 40 years and could handle problems. However, they then demanded more money at collection because of the time of having to remove the door. As a gesture of goodwill, I offered them the amount as the next best quote I had received because they seemed like nice guys. At delivery, the furniture did not fit in the lift. The delivery guys refused to take it to the 6th floor, despite this being part of the quote. They demanded double, for which I could have hired a proper, well-known, large company. I offered either to pay them for the collection and delivery to the ground floor (subtracting half payment for not taking it to the 6th), or for them to take the furniture back to origin, or for 4 of us to carry it to the 6th floor (2 of them and 2 of us). The delivery guys refused all options and chose to leave without any payment! Afterwards, I found out that they tried to extract full payment from my family in Birmingham. The truth is that they quoted too cheap to win the business and then didn't want to handle the problems I had highlighted in the first place. This is not an honest way to conduct business and therefore I would not trust them if I were you. Since we had an argument at the door of our apartment building, I have plenty of independent witnesses, and texts to support this account.
