   Professional and Honest

   I contracted with My Guys Moving in Sterling, VA, to relocate furnishings from a two-bedroom apartment in Washington, D.C. to a house in Lexington, KY. My Guys is the actual company that will handle your household goods, not a broker that books your move, requires a deposit, and assigns your move to another company you did not select. Avoid those scams. My Guys is not a broker. My first telephone contact at My Guys was with the person who asked me for how many boxes I would have and what dimensions. Also, each piece of furniture and their measurements. He gave me a quote the following day and estimated that my total weight would be 6,800 pounds. The quote was partially based on total weight. Turned out he was within 400 pounds of the total, which is excellent. On the movement day, we had a two-member crew - Henry and Miguel. They arrived on time and were accompanied by Orlando, who labeled and inventoried all pieces, both the boxes and items not boxed and had five pages when finished. The apartment was on the 4th floor, and they used the freight elevator. When arriving, they wrapped the doorways to prevent scratching, laid runners on the floor, and were extra careful with the furniture. This process took four hours. They wrapped all furniture and loose pieces that might get scratched. Transportation to Lexington went smoothly. My Guys Moving also had all trucks on a GPS system, so that you can track where the truck is at all times while in transit. In Lexington, Miguel and Henry asked which room each item should go and placed them accordingly. This phase took about 3 hours. Henry and Miguel were excellent; careful, and professional. I can recommend My Guys Moving, without reservation.

   I just finished being delivered and feel obligated to write this review. My Guys Moving just did an amazing job for me and my family, came in under budget, and was damage free! I used “Manny the Mover” in Coral Springs, what a great group of professionals!!!

   Excellent Customer Service!

   I very highly recommend My Guy’s Moving and Storage. Their price was competitive with other moving companies. Amongst my furniture being moved was an antique baby grand piano. I was assured that it would be properly handled and stored in a humidity-controlled environment for the 3-4 months it would be in storage. After my furniture was delivered, I had an assessment done of the piano. The technician stated that it was in “good condition considering it being in storage for that length of time.” Our move team, Jose G., Josue C., Justin, and Martin, were professional and courteous. Their care in the handling of our furniture, especially the antique baby grand piano, was above and beyond our expectations. Many thanks to our team for making our move seamless, and more importantly, without worry.

   Home Improvements needing furniture moved

   I was pleasantly surprised how professional and seamless My Guys Moving experience was. We were having new carpet put in and our furniture was too big to leave in the rooms. They moved all the furniture and boxes to the garage and back again without any damage to the furniture or the walls. They were efficient and pleasant to work with. Thank you!

   Moving my Father to Assisted Living.

   My family has just completed the very stressful process of downsizing my father to move to an assisted living facility. From the very beginning of this process, Tony Wilson of My Guys walked us through a plan for making the move efficient and easy, despite the restrictions of the COVID-19 environment. His tips for staging items to be moved, and labelling and boxing items for best delivery and setup, made the process as stress-free as possible on both ends of the move. His tips actually brought us in on time, well organized and under budget! The two man crew who actually did all the heavy lifting of the day were on time, respectful of our needs and property, kind and efficient. My father had a number of heavy and antique items that needed the TLC they provided. Easy to work with, good people!    Great service.

   Josh and his team were amazing. I used them for two of my local moves from Aldie, Va from a four level townhouse, to a two level condo. I hired them again to help move a family member from from Chantilly to Reston. The guys took extra care of my items, worked longer hours than expected and made sure all items were reassembled to my liking. Thank you MyGuys Moving!

   Our 3rd move with My Guys.

   This is the 3rd time I’ve used My Guys. Two local moves and one long distance. They have always done a great job. Henry and his team went above and beyond on our last move. They hoisted furniture up to a 4th floor and made it look easy! I would recommend them to anyone. The only regret I have is not having them pack for us this time.

   Great Moving Company!

   We were in need of a moving company for my elderly mother. Our mother is in her late 80's so finding someone she trusted was very difficult to say the least. Once she spoke with the team at My Guys Moving there was no question that she was going with them. She was very stern that she only had an 8 hour window to be loaded, moved, furniture set back up and living in her new place. Well they exceeded her exceptions and had everything done with an hour to spare. She watched their every move and made sure things went where she wanted them, that her bed was set back up and able to sleep for the night. The 3 man team were always very professional, patient as saints, listening her every request and actually had her smiling the entire time. Now she had a lot of antiques and let me say they double wrapped them and not a thing was damaged / broken. She was pleased beyond belief!! She and our family now even refer My Guys to everyone for a great moving experience. Thank you to our Team!!
