   Thanks for a fast and easy move!

   This was my first time hiring movers and I was extremely anxious about pretty much every part of the process. The guys from Nation Capital Movers were great. They showed up on time and moved my large bedroom to a place 10 miles away within 3 hours. Was really impressed with how quick and careful they were. I heard a lot of horror stories from friends/the Internet about extra charges with moving companies, but didn't experience any of that with Nation Capital Movers. Would definitely hire them again. Thanks for a fast and easy move!

   I used Nation Capital Movers yesterday and had a great experience from start to finish. I booked the move over the phone with Peter, who was professional, friendly, and very thorough. He walked me through every step of the process, clearly explained all charges, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect, which made the entire experience feel organized and stress-free. On moving day, we had a four-person crew. Everyone was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. When the truck arrived in the morning it still had some supplies in it, even though I had requested an empty truck. He addressed the issue immediately, made sure it was resolved, and did not start the clock until everything was handled properly, which I really appreciated. The team worked very hard, stayed efficient, and took great care with our belongings. Overall, they did an excellent job and I would absolutely recommend Nation Capital Movers.

   Cant say enough good things- they gave me the best quote when I originally reached out (several other companies quoted me nearly twice as much) and they were exactly on the mark with the time and cost it actually took. They told me they would be there between 12:30 and 2 - at 12:15 they called to say they were running slightly behind and would be there at 1 (which was well within the time frame they gave me). They then called back to say they'd be there by 12:45. The communication was just phenomenal. They were efficient and careful, but also took the time to engage in friendly chatter with us, which I loved. Peter and team were just all around a great crew and I would hire them again in an instant (though hope I don't have to moving stinks!)

   Very Professional Movers.

   Peter was incredibly helpful, efficient, and friendly throughout the entire process. He offered helpful advice about whether or not to take apart certain furniture to save time, and if they weren’t taken apart he wrapped them very securely with padding he provided. I was very worried about movers taking long on purpose to get more hours, but it was clear that they had no intention of taking any longer than necessary. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

   Nation Capital Movers lives up to its name. I had to rapidly pack and move everything from my home due to a water backup. Movers were efficient in getting me packed and moved in record time. When I became overwhelmed, they provided encouragement and made me laugh. They gave great care to my furniture. I will definitely use them again.

   Everything was safe and secure.

   These guys were beyond amazing. We just moved from CA to MD, and they made it such a smooth process in like 8 hours including travel time. They helped us break down and move some large furniture, maybe 30 boxes, and many other items efficiently. Guys were punctual, professional, and transparent about costs/services. Everything was safe and secure.

   They drove all the way and helped my friend & I move my belongings out of a two story apartment. My stairs in the unit are what I would consider very old, steep, & dangerous. Not only were they early & ready, but they assisted & did an amazing job. Without them the job itself would have been so much harder & stressful. Instead it turned out to be the opposite. I would highly suggest Nation Capital Movers to anyone who may need the extra help. Thank you guys. 10/10.

   Very Impressed.

   I was very impressed with Nation Capital Movers. The team that came for our move were very efficient and professional. When they were putting in our furniture in our new house there were a couple of items that I told them where to place it and decided that I wanted them moved to a different place. The team members moved the items to a different location for me with no issues or grumbling. I will recommend this company to anyone that I know that moves in the future.

    These guys were AMAZING!

    These guys were AMAZING!! I requested a quote and he responded immediately with the info. Very responsive with every question/inquiry I had. Pricing was excellent and cheaper than other places I was checking. He kept in touch by providing emails on the upcoming move date. I received texts when movers were on the way. Once they arrive we reviewed the contract and I signed. The movers were well equipped and prepared to move my items. I only had a bedroom and some items I the garage. They were very efficient and true professionals. They took apart the bed, removed the mirror from dresser and they wrapped and secured ALL items. Took about an hour and we moved to the new place where they were more efficient in moving items by using a hand truck with a box to hold more items. They put the bed back together. Moved the items into my new place. This moved very quickly and they were done in about an hour. All in all it took them 2 hours. Worth every dollar - which was a reasonable rate. I wholeheartedly recommend this company. I will use in the future!
