   They lie, customer service is poor, they take NO responsibility when the broker they sent lied and stole my mother's belongings. They said it was NOT their money so the would not work on my behalf (Yet they lied to BOA, BBB and said we never asked for help and they would have intervened) . We had a house move and a car move. Once the house move did not happen due to the company called PackRite Movers (this is another long story) I cancelled the car move. We were delayed over 1 month moving which costs me thousands of dollars. Then they had the audacity to still want to charge the $200 deposit that was for my car move. Why the hell would I send my car and I am in still in original city. If Patriot Moving company sent a VERY FAULTY company to move my household goods, I sure in the hell won't trust this company with my newer vehicle. I am giving Patriot Moving company until Wednesday 10/9/2019 by 5:00 PM to refund my $200 dollars or I will destroy your reputation on-line. I have a lot of followers all of the world and they will know how bad you suck and how you have stolen money from me and LIED to the bank saying we had conversations that never occurred.I was not able to do anything earlier because I had to find a reputable company to move my things.In addition I have been trying to get settled. However, I have some time this week and would like to get this issue resolved. I cancelled the move because of the people you sent to me. We were scheduled to move June 27 and we were not able to secure new movers and move until July 28. Yet this company is under the impression that I should pay $200 for a car move when I was delayed a month. This is ridiculous. Patriot Moving company your deadline to refund me my money ($200) is 10/9/2019 by 5PM or I will let everyone know by videos, recorded conversations had with your incompetent and rude staff, through all social media outlets and the Internet. I have time this week, so I hope you do the right thing and you will never have to hear from or see me, and I won't let everyone else know what you did. If you make this right, as an ethical company I will even change this review and say mistakes were made, but you guys made it right. The ball is in your court.

   Patriot Moving is a scam. Reviewed my inventory item by item, room by room w/them. I had just relocated from Europe to Washington DC area & had my exact weight (14,000 lbs) coming into VA. I am going through a divorce & have split my household with my ex. I told them up front I was about 10,000 lbs. I am a family of 2 in a 1,200 sq ft TH, moving w/no appliances. Quote was high, but I spoke to many movers & liked the personal attention to detail I THOUGHT I was receiving. I spoke to Daniel who was available all the time for any questions/concerns. I made a deposit of over $1,700+. I was quoted a move of $5,700 ish w/a signed contract. It was initially to be a full pack out move. When I was told the price, it became a partial pack out & contract was signed late on a Fri @ 6 pm. I was told I would be contacted the next 1-2 days & everything would be finalized w/the moving date/time being provided. Early Mon am, I called to let Daniel know I would indeed need a full pack out like originally quoted. Between divorce, chronically sick child, working FT & grad school, my parents offered to lend the difference. Requested a new contract reflecting the price increase. This was never provided. Craig, (who was to finalize changes) was to contact me within the hour. I called daily. Craig was nasty, condescending, told me I didn't understand moving. I knew nothing about how moves work or how the weight impacts the cost. I spoke to Bridget (Sales mngr) who apologized to profusely & was told a "discount" would be taken off for the inconvenience. Bottom line, by the time I spoke to Craig it was 1 day past when I could have Cx my contract w/full refund. Movers showed late & tried to tell me I would require 2 of the 26' trucks, that the weight was not around 10,000 lbs, but determined approximately 32,000 lbs & not to worry this was just a "safe overestimate, but it would definitely go down once the truck was loaded." I asked for log of dry weight of the truck, it was unable to be provided to me. Initial estimate was around $5,700, increased 18 hrs before the move to $6,800 because of my "extra" requests (aka full move vs partial even though I had sold many items.) Movers told me that Patriot had grossly underestimated my cubic ft & that it had nothing to do with gross weight. I told them I understood how pounds converts to cubic feet, I work in the metric system constantly in my profession. Coming home from Europe was 14,000 lbs, w/ex-husband taking possession of alot. I told they they were scammers & I would not sign the "new" contract. They told me "you are over a barrel & don't have a choice. You have 3 days to be out, you're out of options." Revised estimate was slightly over $14,900. It more then doubled. I told them to get out of my house. They assured me this was an overestimate & that it would come down. I informed them I was not new to moves & that it wouldn't come down. In fact, I'd be held in storage until bill paid in full. BTW, I left England w/my furniture arriving in a 26' truck when locally delivered to the USA. I left Washington for FL w/my furniture completely fitting in a 26' truck no problem. I did not require 52' of trucks, as the movers that day told me I would require. And that was with unprofessional movers (day laborers) loading most of the truck as I scrambled to hire help within 48 hrs of my walk thru date.

   This company is awful and I’m surprised they are still getting away with gouging money from people. Please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and go with a different moving company. They’ve lied to us about costs, been deceptive about arrival time of the moving truck, everyone we’ve spoken with seemed incompetent or deceptive, and I could go on and on. We seriously regret using them.

   STAY FAR,FAR AWAY!! June 10, 2019, Robbie quoted me a total price of 1900.00 USD to move 1 sofa, 1 recliner, 1 queen bedroomset, bicycle, 30 boxes, rocking chair, 1 book case, cedar chest from WI to Fl. I paid 919.00 USD debit card, 535.00 cash, July 10 when they loaded my things. They did a 30 day hold which I thought was good, then I did not have to rush down to Fl. That brings us to 8/9/19, I called once per week and was told by Ashley, next week, then next week, oh, maybe next week!! Finally when I called 9/28 she said Thursday or maybe Friday. I had an appointment Wed, 9/28 and could not answer my phone, when I returned to my vehicle, Ashley called and stated, "When I call U next time, U better answer." During this whole time she has been condescending, rude , threatening and very disrespectful on the phone. They come with trumped up charges, lie to U and I have NEVER been treated with such HATE ever!! My friend, Martha and I watched today as one driver unloaded my things very roughly and shoved them in my storage unit. Robbie said June 10, no charge for steps, I WAS CHARGED FOR STEPS. I was charged xtra for carry being greater than 75 feet, when in truth distance was 30 feet! I do not understand how these crooks get away with this!! The police do not help much, the BBB does not want to get involved, it just keeps happening. My book case is ruined, my cedar chest now has 3 legs instead of 4, and I am positive I will find more as I put my things away. SCREAM!! wE DID CALL 911 TODAY IN cLEARWATER BECAUSE THE DRIVER FROM pATRIOT moving WAS SWEARING A BLUE STREAK BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY MEASURED THE DISTANCE FROM HIS TRUCK TO MY STORAGE UNIT AND IT WAS 50 FEET, NOT 75 LIKE HE SAID!! hE DID NOT LIKE THAT!! They R all in on the game!! They will pay for their BAD, AWFUL Behavior! This is beyond my comprehension of why?

   This turned out to be the most unprofessional experience for me. The initial call was positive however that is when the lies started. They start at half price of major companies. I questioned why and was given a professional answer. The salesman kept referring to 'Our" trucks and drivers. He told me once my items were picked up, they'd arrive in OH in 2-3 days. He offered a promotional discount of $400 that disappeared. He said he'd help out and take off the 2nd floor charge of $75. I was told that my down payment and final payments could be done with credit card which I needed until I received by relocation stipend. I was told someone from Patriot would contact me on F/Sat/Sun as to when the movers would arrive (either Tue or Wed). I tried via phone and email to reach someone each day, noone responded. I gave them a chance to get in touch with me on Mon before reaching out to them and noone did. When I was able to speak to someone she told me I'd have an answer by the end of the day and movers would be there Tue. As expected, she dropped the ball. Tues morning I reached out again to get ETA on the movers and was told they wouldn't be there until Wed morning. I, the customer, am the one continually reaching out to them. The reason they NEVER have answers is they are brokers. Once they get a contract and money, they wash their hands of the customer.The salesmen don't return calls, emails, back their promises,or communicate at all. They dump it on Cust Serv and they don't provide any info either. At 4PM Tues I got a call from American Home Relocation, informing me they will arrive Wed the 31st between 6 and 9PM. I asked who they were and why they were calling. I was informed who they were and they were brokered by Patriot. Then I was informed my items wouldn't arrive in Ohio for 7-21 days. I had to re-pack many items so I had necessities to get me thru a few weeks and my personal truck was loaded from front to back that I loaded myself. I was then informed I had to have cash or money order, credit card wouldn't work. When I reached out to Patriot, the salesman again wouldn't reply to calls or emails. This is an unprofessional company built on misinformation and horrible cust ser. Once the movers arrived they wouldn't honor the 2nd floor discount but said I could pay them cash and they wouldn't call the boss. I was shown the packing list Patriot sent them. I told Patriot I would have 20 boxes, 20 totes, plus my furniture. Patriot told them I would have 45 pieces total and use 365 cu ft. After breaking down the furniture I had 68 pieces.The mover called his boss and said because I had 1.5 the amount of pieces they needed to charge me 1.5x the amount. The other guy said I only took up 400 cu ft but the guy in charge insisted I pay 1.5 times the quote. I spoke to the boss and he backed down to charging me 35 cu ft extra. More mistakes and extra charges that go back to Patriot doing things wrong, not communicating, or informing of extra charge for extra room. My stuff arrived 16 days late with 2 broken items and 3 items not on the truck. When contacting the movers I was pointed in the direction of a 3rd party to file a claim. I told them I wouldn't claim the broken items, just send me the items left in the warehouse. And I still have to file a claim that may not be addressed for 120 days. I should have hired some local teenagers to help me load things into a Uhaul for me and there is no question it would have been a more professional and positive experience. I don't know how other moving companies handle things but I'll never hire another moving company. This experience turned out to be a pass it on to the next person, no accountability operation I fully regret wasting money to enlist. I would never recommend this experience or operation to anyone who needs a moving company. When it comes down to it, I paid Patriot over $1,000 to send me a 4 page contract, lie to me, provide no service, and then turn it over to someone else.

   Unfair pricing.

   I hired a company called PATRIOT MOVING GROUP,LLC located in the state of Florida they are a broker in a moving company operation. They basically broker moving deals with national companies nationwide to move people from State to State. Here is my story as follows I contacted this company on July 3rd,2019 and hired this moving company to set up a move for me under the understanding that it would only cost me $790.56 down payment for the moving services from MN to AZ I was told this would cost me $2324.52 total for the move from MN to AZ. Which later I was re-informed that this would now cost me an additional $212.00 in which I paid on July 13th, 2019. The breakdown of the charges ended up being $5,161.51 I paid $1,002.56 down payment originally was told $2324.52 we ended up having to pay an additional $1,900.00 down ,and $2,258.95 once our things were finally delivered to the address in Surprise, Az bear in mind that our things were picked up on July 16th, 2019 we didn't get our things delivered to us until July 28th, 2019 I was hung up on by the delivery driver of the trucking company that was hired out by Patriot Moving Group, LLC the contact person at this company is named Nick he is the owner at 515-996-6676 the company is located in the State of Iowa. I understand that this is a 3rd party to the broker I hired , but I feel we we're totally mislead by this broker in the fee's we we're charged after reviewing the reviews I feel this is something that the Attorney general really needs to dig deep into. To realize how many millions of Americans are being defrauded out of thousands of dollars needs to be investigated ,and I feel truly looked into. This company Patriot Moving Group, LLC ,and the company they hired to move us ( Moving Services DSM Llc out of Johnston,Iowa ) DOT# 2874251 VIN# FN913052 mislead us in abusive negligence practices. This is a practice that is going on with this company on a very very wide scale ,and needs to be looked into.

   Don't use them!! They subcontract and don't take any responsibility after they get your money. My estimate was $2400, my bill was $5000. The subcontractor was very hard to get ahold of.

   My advice to anyone moving would be to go directly through the carrier and eliminate the middle man. (Patriot) My stuff was picked up in Lacey, WA on 7/5/2019 and I am still waiting on it. 7/31/2019. It was promised within two weeks of pick-up. Patriot used GTS shipping out of Portland, OR and they won't even answer their phone. The only way Patriot can contact them is through e-mail. Very poor service from Patriot and GTS. Charges were way more than quoted on the phone.$1400 vs $2047.58. You need to have a charge for not delivering on promised date.

   Horrible Experience - Deserving Negative Star.

   It's a long story and a horrible experience. There is no negative star option, hence 1 star. PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH PATRIOT. THEY CHARGE THEIR FEE AND THEN YOU WILL END UP PAYING 2X OF THEIR ESTIMATE. I had a in house estimate of 3500 for my move. I had moved last year also with the same stuff and same distance and had paid 3200, so I was ok with 3500 estimate. Unfortunately the move got delayed and that moving company didn't have options during the changed timeframe. So I searched for other options and ended up talking with Alex from Patriot. I provided the inventory list from in house visit, pictures from every corner of the house and he gave me an estimate of 2300. I called back and told him to look at the inventory list again and revise it because the estimate doesn't look ok to me. He came back with a revised estimate of 2700. I was fine with it going 300-500 up because it was still within the 3500 ballpark. They charged me 1100 up front and told me to pay remaining amount to the packing company. When the packing company arrived they told me that they didn't care what the broker charged. As per them, brokers play this game always and charge customer upfront and later on you can't do anything about it. The moving company ultimately charged me more than double of Alex's estimate. So I paid 1100 for 0 cost saving, endless hassles and mail/call with Patriots customer service who kept justifying their estimate instead of accepting their misleading work and refunding the fee that they shouldn't have charged. They flatly refused any refund. I am searching for options to file a formal complain so that they are fined for their negligence/ deliberate misleading work.

    Nightmare of a move.

    This was my 1st time hiring a moving company and I will never do it again. Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They dud not show up for several days after my confirmation move phone call. When they showed up it was 9:30 in the evening and they were packing until 4 am. They did not have the proper packing boxes I ordered, they expected another payment that night even though I have had nothing but issues with them. I am still trying to resolve issues with this company to confirm that they will actually deliver my personal items to Texas as scheduled. I keep asking to speak to the owner of this company however I get absolutely nowhere with them. Poor service, a nightmare of a company and it's just not over with for me at this time.
