   Redefining a removal company

   Porters of Woking are a breath of fresh air. We couldn’t be more impressed or recommend them highly enough. From arriving exactly when they said they would, to working late into a Friday night to make sure we were completely happy, the whole team went above and beyond without a single hitch. They were personable, likeable, extremely professional, and offered a price that beat all the other local companies. I would encourage anyone who’s moving to use these guys without hesitation.    Superb job

   Very impressed by Porter’s. Provided the most competitive quote, arrived on time and the team of 4 set to work hard completing the move in good time. Also kindly dismantled and reassembled a very tricky wardrobe. They all took good care with our stuff and were friendly and good humoured throughout. Would definitely recommend.

   Move in Guildford

   I have some experience in moving, I moved 10 times in 14 years, most of them international. In all fairness, Portes of Woking is by far my best experience. It started with the amazing fair quote. I asked quotes from 3 companies and Portes was clearly the cheapest, up to 50% cheaper compared to other companies. On the moving day the crew was perfect on time. After discussing the day, where to start, what to expect they started the job. Professional, fast, careful,flexible and accurate. Having experience in moving i made a necessary bag with passports, wallets etc. When 1 of the members found some keys of me he asked me if i wanted to keep this in the bag. This shows not only the experience of the staff but also the fact that they are thinking “ with” the customer. Which is more then i experienced before. The whole move went smooth, i really can not recommend as them enough. The staff worked extremely hard and fast. Absolute top move and one of my fastest and hassle free moves ever. Highly recommended!!

   Removal to Norfolk.

   We moved on the hottest day of the year and I cannot speak highly enough of the removal team. They packed efficiently, never stopping until everything was packed and once in Swaffham, Norfolk with temperatures in the high 30s they worked just as hard until everything was safely unpacked. They had issues getting one of the beds upstairs but they dismantled it and reassembled it in the correct bedroom. Everything was placed in the correct place and the men were unfailingly cheerful despite the heat. We would definitely recommend Porters.

   Removal to Wiltshire.

   I would highly recommend Porters of Woking as a removal company.We recently relocated to Wiltshire and after four quotes we found Porters of Woking to be the most resnable price wise also they were first in getting our quote out which help with feeling we were getting sorted!! The men arrived early which was fantastic as my husband had abandoned me with car problems with kids ,boxs,and bits to dismantle!! The men helped dismantle the beds and other bits they were very polight, helpful and very organized unlike us!! They packed up our 5 bed house and we were on our way to Wiltshire on time!! When we arrived at our new home I was impressed with how they respected our new carpets and newly painted walls making every effort to not mark or scrape them !! So we would definitely recommend Porters of Woking to anyone wanting a pain free, helpful and reasonable priced move!!

   We moved earlier this year with porters of Woking as we were recommended by friends. We did get a few quotes and porters were by far the best value . The men arrived on time, they were polite , friendly and very efficient we were amazed at the speed and care they took whilst packing and loading our belongings. The removal was done to the highest standard and I myself would thoroughly recommend porters of Woking.

   Local house move

   I approached 'Porters of Woking' after a referral, Sandy was friendly enough and gave me a competitive quote and they could do the house move at short notice, so I was very grateful of that. 3 gents arrived promptly, very friendly, extremely hard working and professional. They got my boxes packed up very well and quickly. So far so good! There was a delay in getting the keys for my new house, and at 4pm Sandy and the owner started calling me every 10 minutes threatening to return my belongings to my old house. At 4.15pm I was told there will be charge for the team to stay late, so I paid the additional charge of £720, this turned out to be an additional £720 for 45 minutes! The calls from Sandy and the owner didn't stop, the threats of leaving with my belongings didn't stop, by phone call and by Whatsapp. At 5pm I got my keys just as Sandy was telling me the team were leaving. I had to beg them to stay and unpack my boxes from the lorry. I was told by the owner 'We are not a charity, we are a business'. The customer service I received was shockingly bad and so un-necessary, and it's a shame because they give Porters a bad reputation, but the guys doing all the hard work were excellent. House moving is stressful enough without this kind of appalling treatment.

   They didn't know they can park on a double yellow line

   Friendly and helpful staff, but they refused my business, because they didn't know they can park on a double yellow line, so they said they have nowhere to park. I didn't know either, but it's their job to know these things..

    Poters of Woking.

    Hi I had Porters move us from Woking to Bournemouth. I was advised by "Sandy" who provided the estimate. If I required additional boxes it would no problem. I bought all my boxes from amazon which were good - 15 boxes for £15.00 free delivery-strong boxes. I required eight boxes from Porters. They charged me £16.00 for the boxes plus £20.00 charge for the delivery of these boxes which cost in total £36.00 - a rip off. In the price of the estimate it included dismantle. A large wardrobe which was new - it was expensive and had a good strong back in it. After the men left I went to the wardrobe and found all our clothes inside. I was shocked as the back of the wardrobe was left behind the wardrobe. I contacted porters they said sorry and offered me £20 pounds to have the wardrobe repaired. I contacted a carpenter who said he would have to dismantle it completely and it would cost me £165.00 as it was five hours work. A second estimate was higher at the cost of £210.00. So be careful if you employ "Porters" as they also broke a foot of my cooker, which cost £35.00 and a large dent in my fridge freezer. I would not ever employ porters free of charge as I have many scratches on our furniture. "Sandy makes out, she is caring person. Do not be fooled as she new. I have cancer and must avoid any Stress. All "Porters have done cause me stress as there insurance is not worth the paper it is written on Gerry holden.
