   Complete Bait And Switch Operation.

   This company deserves negative stars and to be taken to court for their bait and switch tactics. Do NOT sign any agreements from this company. Todd at Presidential moving company completely mislead me into believing a certain price would be there I was quoted $1800 to move from Austin to Denver, Colorado and then when the movers showed up to my house 3 days prior to moving my equipment and belongings, the driver quoted me $4600 dollars. That's 255% increase! As others have said, do NOT sign anything from them. Here is the information from the gentleman that completely scammed me. I was left with moving myself and all of my belongings over 2 days, getting 6 miles to the gallon renting a uhaul box truck and car hauler across texas in the middle of no where with my dog. Please reach out to me if you decide to go with them anyways.    Do not use this company. They will rip you off. On the day of pick up they demanded a &100 tip to begin with. We were quoted one price then told it was apx $1,000 more. Our representative at presidential would not return calls. They lost some boxes. One contained prescription drugs. Another had her dad's Purple Heart. They were a day late for drop off. Where they demanded cash and another $100 tip. We we told they would take a check but driver refused check. Cash only. Upon opening boxes items were broken or damaged. To make a claim you had to know date and price of the item when you purchased it. I repeat DO NOt use this company. You will get ripped off. It was a horrible stressful experience.

   My belongings were picked up on time December 19,2017 (that's were the positive review ends), after 3 men loaded my items they stated the cubic ft was inaccurate and increased the balance by $600.00. It is now February 21, 2018 and I still DO NOT have my belongings. Please note any type of response IS NOT normal for this company, however; On February 12th I received an email notification that my stuff was being loaded again on a truck and would arrive within 2-4 days. That time has come and gone. Called February 19th for update, stated no later than the 20th I would have an update..that time has come and gone. Again I have emailed and called no response. PLEASE do not use this company!

   This company lies to get your business and then holds your stuff hostage. If you are lucky you will recieve your most likely damaged items a month after they pick up. They also quoted a low price and tripled it! Hiring Presidential is the worst decision I ever made.

   Don't ever use this company. They are liars and cheats!

   I had my quote from Nick for 2600 to move a livingroom, a dinning room set, a dresser and a bed. They Charge you for the tape at $3.00 a roll add $300.00 for no reason and they don't tell you until they show up. Then they said the load was larger because of the size of the items so the salesman's quote was being raised to $4200 from $2700.. They promised me 7 to 10 days delivery to California from NJ. Then they called and lied to me three or four times telling me my truck was loading tomorrow. They never return calls. They forced me to sign a contract for the increase as they were leaving with my furniture that I never got a chan ce to read. On it they allow themselves 6 days to their dc and 30 business days top deliver your furniture. They Lie, cheat and steal from you. Never use them they are a fraud!

   Keeping my kids furniture.

   My daughter was married in November, and in December moved to Colorado from Austin. The father of the groom hired these guys to move them. From what I understand, the father paid $4,000 to move them. They had a 1 bedroom apartment. Now that they are in Colorado and found a place to live, Presidential Movers are holding their furniture hostage for another $3,000. There is no way that their furniture is even worth that amount, but we would like to have it back. How dare you guys do that to anyone, but especially to some young kids starting their lives. I am now looking at hiring an attorney to help get their things back..

   The worst!

   It took over 3 weeks to deliver our moved items. Every time we called, we got a different story. The men who moved our furniture into our townhouse made a mess, banging up walls. A number of pieces of furniture were broken, some irreparable. When we began unpacking boxed items, we found many broken items, not even wrapped. I can’t stress enough how horrible this experience was. We gave a deposit, were given an estimate for which we signed a contract and then they upped the price another $3,000, roughly. They do not mark the boxes with the contents. If you want the box marked at all, you have to mark what room it’s from yourself. They are completely unprofessional. I don’t even really want to give them one star.

   The nightmare that just won’t end.

   We contracted with Presidential to move us from CA to Las Vegas. We needed them to store our belongings for two months due to a longer than expected transition. They were very helpful and accommodating in this request. We have done a dozen corporate moves in the past, and knew to ask for a “not to exceed” quote. He agreed to this and put it in writing. We had informed our sales guy that when we moved to our home in California we had filled up an entire semi truck and expected to do so again with this move. He said no problem we will send a big truck, six guys and they will pack your house and get you moved out in one day. They called and asked to come a day early which we said yes and three guys showed up with one small Enterprise truck. Two guys did most of the work while a third was usually down the street on the phone. They packed until midnight and filled up that truck and said they would be back the following day to finish up. They. Are the next day around 1:00 and started again. By 10:00 the non-existent guy tells my husband that we have filled our allotted space and that he was increasing our quote an additional $9000. If we didn’t agree they were just going to leave with what was on their truck. They already had half our house at their warehouse, the driveway was filled with boxes, and we were closing on our home the next morning. Everything had to be out of the house. We had no option to accept and told them we would be calling corporate. We started with our sales guy, Aaron, who had answered every call up to his point at all hours of the day. He didn’t answer or return our call. EVER. They had to come back a third time the following morning to pick the final load up as their tiny truck obviously didn’t fit our stuff - AFTER the house had closed. We received a call from customer service that day to ask how our move went and did she get an ear full. We spent the next two months talking to JEFF about their extortion tactics. We learned our sales guy had been fired as did the customer service lady. It came time to get our stuff so we were forced to send the balance via wire transfer in order to get our stuff from them. We got to Vegas the day they were supposed to show and received a call they would be there 10 days later. We were forced to stay in a hotel with Kids and a 100 pound dog for those 10 days. They finally showed up with two of their small Enterpriserental trucks. Neither were filled up. We immediately knew not all of our stuff had made it to Vegas. They made a call to their warehouse, and sure enough, they found another load in a different part of their warehouse. Many calls to Jessica later (we called her no fewer than 5 times a day), we got a new delivery date which of course they missed by 6 days. When the same delivery drivers showed up with a third truck that was not even half full. They quickly unloaded the truck and took off. They were to put stuff together and were gone before we could pose the question. They tried to get us to sign that we received everything and we refused (thankfully). He said we had to sign and we again refused. After going through those boxes and counting the boxes not delivered, we are missing at least 104 of over 553 boxes. There is massive breakage, damage to furniture, broken freezer, coffee pot, computer equipment, etc. Some of the missing items include my deceased dogs ashes..which has my daughter in tears as she can’t stand the idea of him missing somewhere, her moped, keepsake items, etc. We have called Jessica numerous times a day for the past two weeks with no answer. We need our stuff back. We need answers. The stress this has caused is unimaginable. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

   Stay away from Presidential Moving.

   I contracted with Presidential Moving to pick up items from my mother’s house in New Bern N.C. and drop them off at my house in Davidsonville, MD. I gave the salesman a list of items to be shipped and he gave me a quote. The quote included 704cf of truck space based on the items I listed for him and “no charge” for packing 2 mattresses. 2 mattresses because I told him I had two beds - 1 king bed and 1 queen bed to ship. The quote estimate was $2,466.00. Three men showed up to pick up my items in N.C. at 3pm. The foreman walked through the house to see what items we were shipping. Again, the estimate by the salesman was 704cf. The foreman said this looked right and further commented that we didn’t have the much in the house to ship. At 6pm, AFTER loading the truck, the foreman said he needed to increase the cf on the bill to 1,000cf. I complained because we didn’t alter the amount of items to be picked up from what we told the salesman. The foreman insisted that the salesmen for the company always underestimate the cubic feet. A little off I could understand but I couldn’t see how they could be that far off. This was more than a 40% markup. He also added a charge for mattress packing. When I pointed out that the quote said free packing, he said I had 3 mattresses even though I only had 2 beds. He never was able to explain this to me. Again, all my stuff was already closed up in the truck. I tried calling the salesman but he wouldn’t answer the phone or call me back. After much complaining, the foreman called his supervisor and after 2 hours of dickering they gave me a $600.00 adjustment but this was still an $800.00 increase from the original estimate. Then they said I had 3 options. 1. Accept the new price. 2. Pay $1,200.00 to unload the truck. 3. Take off enough items to bring the cf to 700cf. They didn’t say how much this option would cost and I didn’t ask. It was now 8pm. The salesmen I kept trying to call never gave me a call back. I was alone with no options but to give up. Then the foreman wouldn’t give me a receipt for the load. He would only let me take a picture of the paperwork with my cell phone. This was also very troubling. When our furniture in Maryland arrived, and unloaded, we were surprised to see that our furniture took up so little room on this drop-off truck. So we talked to the foremen. We measured. They was no question about the amount of room that our furniture took because it was the only room available on the truck now. The drop off measurement was witnessed by the drop-off driver. Our furniture was the first off the truck. We measured to the ceiling even though the furniture didn’t go to the ceiling. We measured to the back door even though our furniture didn’t touch the back door. These measurements were 9.4 x 10 x 8.4. This comes to 789cf. Considering the space not used, we estimate that our shipment was no more than 750cf. Certainly not 1000cf. I called the salesman, John Walker, again to see about a refund. He has yet to return my calls. I called customer service. They haven’t returned my calls. Anna and Brie were two that told me that I had to pay the extra but neither one has been courteous enough to return my calls. I emailed Phoebia who tried to get me to sign off on the bad cost. She hasn’t returned my email. I emailed info@presidentialmoving.com and Jessica@presidentialmoving.com and I sent a letter to Presidential Moving Services LLC, 3006 Ave E, Arlington, TX 77084. I haven’t received a call from anyone. I paid a total of $3200.00. Using 750cf instead of the quoted 704cf would make the new amount $2,643.07 so I am due a refund of $556.93. I filed a compliant with BBB but have still not heard from Presidential Moving.

    Scammers!

    We were originally quoted 7500.00 dollars. Of course their “expert” Mike went over all the stuff we wanted moved and assured us there would be no surprises. 2 days before we were to move there was a surprise. It jumped to 18000. We had to pay them another deposit right away. We were closing on our house in two days and had to be out of the house. We had to pay. They hold you hostage. Everyone is wonderful in the beginning, but then they all disappear once they get your money. They lied about everything. They don’t have their own trucks or workers. It’s all subcontracted out to off the book workers. They made a big show of putting stickers on all our boxes, but they are meaningless. The two guys who delivered our stuff had no idea what was what and wanted us to open every box, which we did. Unfortunately, it seems someone had already done that and gone through all of our stuff, and then jumbled it all up and threw it back in the boxes. These people should be put out of business for ever. I felt like I’ve been robbed and mugged all in one.
