   Smooth move

   My children were very nervous about leaving the house where they grew up. The movers listened to their questions and even gave them a toy box to "assist." I was more grateful for that thoughtfulness than for any bubble wrap. It's also a smooth move.

   Great Team Work

   I was moving my small café downtown to a bigger space. They were very careful with my valuable pastry display cases and espresso machine. They also helped me reattach the coffee maker's water line! The very next day, I was ready to open for business.

   Though moving my store was challenging, the movers from this company carefully handled all the mannequins and decorations. At the new location, they even helped assemble racks. We highly recommend them!

   Avoid at all costs

   We contracted with Pricing Van Lines to move a small shipment of household goods for us from Boston to Utah. We entered a contract with Pricing Van Lines and paid our deposits to them; They subcontracted the job to Northwest Moving Group, 10506 Steele S. Bldg. B, Unit C Lakewood WA 98499 (US DOT No: 3810784; ICC/MC No: 1396067). On the morning scheduled for pickup, Northwest called to inform us they could not honor our agreement until the following day. The next day, 6/14, their crew showed up without any tools to disassemble furniture they knew was part of the move, which we ended up having to provide. Pricing Van Lines estimated the move would take around 18 days. However, Northwest has a different policy, laid out in very fine print on the bill of lading they asked us to sign on the morning of the move, which allows the goods to be delivered by as late as 7/28. As we could not delay moving out, we were essentially forced to accepted this bait and switch. As the time stretched on, we repeatedly called, texted, and emailed both companies to find out when they planned to deliver. Most of the time, neither responded. Worse still, when they did reply, they provided mistaken information about the shipment, which left us waiting in vain on several promised delivery dates without any warning or follow-up explanation. Our goods finally arrived on 7/23 but Northwest added $475 to the final payment of $625 claiming charges related to street access and using the freight elevator of the apartment. The modern apartment building with an ample freight elevator on street level is located on a broad avenue with easy access. Both companies knew the address long before the move and that there was a freight elevator, but none of the fees demanded upon delivery were mentioned in the contract we signed. Again, they waited until the last minute and forced new terms on the move. I am a veteran (USMC and USA) and have moved several times both internationally and around our great nation, east to west, north to south. Our experience is that both these companies are dishonest, deceptive, and without the slightest care for their customers. Avoid them at all costs or suffer as we did.

   Lowball Quote, Massive Increase, No Accountability

   My experience with Pricing Van Lines was deeply disappointing. I hired them based on an estimate of approximately $7,682 provided by Kimberly Smith after a detailed inventory review. By the time my move from Massachusetts to Florida was completed, I had paid approximately $16,876—more than double the original quote. The issue isn't simply that the price increased. Pricing Van Lines controlled the estimating process that I relied on, yet when the estimate proved wildly inaccurate, responsibility was shifted elsewhere. After Kimberly secured my business, I found myself dealing with a succession of different people and even different companies handling quality assurance, pricing, scheduling, and customer service. I was never quite sure who actually worked for Pricing Van Lines, who worked for another company, or who was ultimately accountable. The experience left me feeling that the structure itself was designed to diffuse responsibility. Their BBB responses have only reinforced my concerns. Rather than addressing why their original estimate was so far off, they focus on technicalities such as whether additional charges appeared as a second order or a revision, and whether certain individuals technically worked for Pricing Van Lines or affiliated companies. As a customer, those distinctions are meaningless. I dealt with one sales process, one move, and one final bill that was approximately 120% higher than the quote used to secure my business. If you're considering Pricing Van Lines, my advice is simple: be extremely skeptical of the initial estimate and ask detailed questions about who is actually performing your move, how costs are calculated, and who is accountable if the estimate turns out to be dramatically wrong.

   Do not use this company

   After paying $3500 for the move and their white glove packing service, they tacked on another $650 overnight charge because they picked up another load and ran out of time to get to my storage unit 2 hours away. I was not informed of the second pickup and originally told my drop off would be midafternoon. Later that day i was informed that their arrival would be at 6pm, which was about 30 minites after the call. I specifically expressed the unavailability of an after 5 delivery because my connection at the drop off point would be unavailable. After numerous calls back and forth with a very rude woman yelling at me, I was then told there would be a $650 overnight charge for lodging. The delivery point was Titusville Florida, the hotel bill was $185 for the night. I have finally been able to start looking at my furniture and belongings and i have already found significant damage to 5 pieces of furniture,and I'm no where near with this task. I found a lamp 1 one box, the shade in another box and the harp, to attach shade to lamp is missing and i am additionally finding broken glass to several decorative figurines. I dont care what Angi claims as their ratings, they not only ripped me off price wise, they've done damage to a number of old family heirlooms as well as other personal possessions. If you value your possessions, don't leave them in the care of this company.

   Moving to Georgia

   Recently moved from Fort lauderdale to Atlanta. Got 5 quotes but pricing van lines was 1500 cheaper. Mitch was very assuring on the phone and I went with them despite my fears of using a broker. Once mitch got my initial deposit he never answered the phone again.Had to pay an additional 300 dollars to get a specific day pickup. I was given a delivery window of four to seven days but after the driver loaded my furniture that changed to 7 to 12 days. The drivers spoke very little English and once they loaded my furniture the price changed by 2000 dollars and they refused to take my furniture off the truck. I was assigned Ez Moving out of miami. These are the most unscrupulous people that I have ever dealt with. Tania the dispatcher will tell you anything but once they get your furniture on the truck you will be over charged. I would not recommend pricing van lines or ez Moving. Stay away from mitch. He is very assuring on the phone but once he gets your money he is done. No one will answer your complaint. You are basically screwed.

   Pricing van lines is a broker company.please don't chose this company.They got advance from us and didn't pick up our things ,they told truck got break down and they transfered our process to other new company.So we started again and paid advance to new company totally we paid 3900 to the new company.but what we paid to pricing van lines was not refunded.Better be aware of pricing van lines.dont choose pricing van line .

   Pricing Van Lines was the customer's booking agent. Unfortunately, we do not understand this review. We were not the customer's moving company nor do we have trucks. Upon the customer advising us that their carrier was not going to make it for their pickup, we immediately assigned another carrier for the customer's move and transferred the customer's deposit to the new carrier, so that they could service the customer's move, which we are happy to advise they did with no issues. We unfortunately do not understand what refund the customer is referring to, as their deposit was transferred to the customer's new moving company, and the customer's moving company deducted this from the customer's balance with them. The customer's deposit was already applied to their move with their new carrier. A refund would only be due if the customer would have cancelled. For this reason we are confused by this review.    Would not recommend

   I would not recommend this company. Used them for out-of-state move. They're a broker. A long process of repeated over-promising and under-delivering. $3900 quote for a $4400 move that was so poorly executed that the losses and damages amount to about $8000. They matched me with Atlantic Group out of FL (do anything you can to stay away from them too). Was promised 3 movers and a 3-5 day turnaround. Got 2 movers on arrival (24 hour delay) and one mover on delivery (hours later two local guys arrived to help unload). My stuff arrived a month later (21 business days later) with two stolen bikes and most of my furniture damaged and the majority of my boxed items damaged as well. Was offered nothing except a shrug and an opportunity to file a claim through their insurance company (Atlantic wasn't answering or returning calls) Made a stressful situation even worse and I do not recommend at all.

    I can't believe these guys are still in business. Our move took place in December, 2022 and we are still finding problems with our household goods that have not been unpacked. We have paid thousands of dollars to replace or repair some items. Many things went missing or were damaged. Looks like they fell off the truck. Some things were repacked in other boxes, and some even became damaged during delivery in their effort to unload and set up in our new place. They contracted with a "wrecking crew" who were in too much of a hurry. Charges were added to the original quote to cover articles that they claimed we didn't tell them about. We had no choice but to go along with the program. Be aware! Sometimes the cheapest quote turns out to be the most expensive decision.

    Unfortunately, we feel this customer has submitted this review on the incorrect company, consequently this review has been reported. Please note that Pricing Van Lines was hired by the customer as their booking agent in order to book their move reservation for them with their moving company. We were not the customer's moving company nor who the customer's moving contract was with. Nonetheless, we have been trying to reach the customer both by phone and email numerous times in order to offer them our assistance, but the customer does not respond. We are happy to help them and contact their movers for them to assist them in filing a compensation claim, whenever they are able to get back to us.
