   We would call them direct that’s how good their work was.

   We spoke to them and told them exactly what we want. It moved in the email this estimate with their contract detailing the price as well as the procedure. The move is well within our budget, and each department within the company played a big role in this move going so well. If we had to do it again, we wouldn’t even go online and ask for companies to call us. We would call them direct that’s how good their work was.

   Avoid like the plague

   They are a terrible business. As mentioned by others, they also delayed my move by 3 months, leaving me stranded without any stuff for multiple months. Further, they referred me to an adjustment agency to decide on the penalty amount they were supposed to pay me. They then ghosted me with the intention of simply not paying. Again, not sure why they decide this is the best way to proceed, but that's their business. And to boot, they charged me extra before making delivery, knowing that I would be in need of my stuff. Better to simply hire better movers, and avoid these people like the plague

   Scammers and unprofessional

   Any good reviews about this company are fake! They are highly unprofessional, liars, scammers and cheaters! Your items will come back damaged and covered in mold and they will try to get more money out of you for problems they caused!!. They also refuse to send me my claims check!!! It was approved by CSI (a claims service) back in March 2023. It's almost December, I've called and emailed them for several months, and still nothing!! Now their numbers are suddenly all disconnected ! Stay away from Native Van Lines as well, they work together with Roadrunner.

   Out of state move

   We contracted for $8,000 for a cross country move. Two days late for pick up, then held items hostage for another $5,500. Quoted ten days for the move. The sad remains of the belongings arrived after four months. Very few items of value remained. About half of the items were delivered. Not pleased to pay $13,000 to have valuables stolen and spend hours on the phone begging for updates. There are better, reputable moving companies. Avoid this one.

   Stay away from RoadRunner Transit at all costs!!!

   Roadrunner Transit arrived on the day of our move and proceeded to remove all our belongings out into our driveway, then said that our inventory that we worked on for weeks prior to the move was incorrect and said we needed to pay an additional $2500 or they would just leave us without a mover on our moving day. We were told that if they needed to 'shuttle' our stuff into a smaller truck to make the delivery to our new home, we would be changed a 'shuttle fee'. When they arrived at our new home, they arrived in the same truck they picked up our stuff in, but they still had the $495 shuttle fee on the invoice. They refused to remove the added fee, and said that if we did not pay, they would drop off our stuff at a storage facility, and we would continue to be charged for storage until we paid in full. Again, we had no choice, and paid. After the move was done, I discovered my TV was damaged. I filed a claim with their insurance company/accomplices and after burning up months 'reviewing' the claim, came back with an offer of $20.00 for my TV (based on a percentage of the weight of the TV, that is buried in their small print). I also claimed they unfairly charged us the shuttle fee and the insurance company said to deal with RoadRunner Transit for that, but they had already said, "It dones't matter what we said before, we are not refunding the shuttle fee". While the locally hired moving helpers were professional, the driver/accomplice associated with the moving company was extremely rude and was clearly part of the scam. We ended up paying $12K to move a small rental truck's worth of stuff from California to Colorado when the original estimate was $6K. DO NOT USE ROADRUNNER TRANSIT unless you want to be a victim like my family! Giving a one star rating because you cannot leave a lower rating!

   Roadrunner moving company AKA Polaris Moving systems. I do not often write on social media sites however I feel compelled to do so regarding this company and what they have put us through. Do not EVER hire this moving company who are based in California. There are 84 complaints on websites about this company and their modus operandi in which all of them are stating the same thing. They show up, charge double the original estimate and when they deliver, most of your items are damaged or broken and the rest of it never shows up. Unfortunately, we hired Alliance to move our property from Oregon to New Hampshire and it was they who brokered it out to these people. True to form, they showed up on the day that we were meant to be out of the house saying that the original estimate was incorrect, and they wanted double the money. They assured us that our items would be kept in a locked facility. Of course, we did not look at reviews on the day that we had to vacate the house, why would you? We tried to contact them several times once we had settled as we noticed we had been charged for 3400 cubic feet. The two U- Haul vans that they turned up in could only take a maximum of 2700 square feet. We were also charged extra as we were informed they had to use “shuttle vans” to deliver as there was no access for a larger truck which was ridiculous as there is an interstate right up to where we reside. Eleven times in total we asked for the contract and the receipt for the vans. The receipts were never received, and we finally got the contract on the day of delivery. Move forward to the day of delivery. Although it stipulates in the contract you can pay by money order, cash or wire transfer, and although having made a money order out to them, May Evan (office manager) refused to allow the delivery men to offload until a wire transfer was made. Because the bank was closing when I got there to change the payment delivery, the men were instructed to take a hotel room until the wire transfer was received. We were informed, with witnesses present that we would not be charged for this. The following day, we were informed by May that we would have to pay an extra $2200 for the night the men had had to stay. When I informed her that she wasn’t getting another penny from us, she stated that she would accept $1000. Due to this extortion, the Police were called, and she was informed in no uncertain terms that unless all our stuff was unloaded, all the delivery men would be heading to jail. Our items were eventually offloaded but what James and I were witnessing left us in shock. Most of our furniture that was on the van had been damaged, glasses, pictures, boxes had been rifled through, souvenirs from places we have visited, all smashed AND most of our furniture was not even on the trucks that showed up. Move forward to the present day, four months since delivery, over $50,000 worth of our property nowhere to be found. They have refused to answer our voicemails and emails, but reading the reviews, this is part of their M.O. Because the contract stipulates that if we are dissatisfied, we would have to sue them in California, I contacted five different lawyers to sue for breach of contract, neglect, and larceny. None of them returned calls. Maybe they are all related to this company. Moral of this story: I would be grateful if everyone could repost this so that it can be dispersed to the public. I just hope by writing this long spiel, and I apologize for it, we can save someone from going through the traumatic experience that this horrendous company has put us through. ?

   don't use, rude, lost/broken items

   I had a TERRIBLE and EXCRUCIATING experience with this moving company. The movers were unprofessional and were cussing at me at the time of my delivery, delivered broken/damaged items, and had LOST my (1) bed, (2) sofa, (3) multiple boxes. Additionally, they were so careless about the moving process, they delivered several items that belonged to other people into my storage unit. They did NOT give me a copy of my pick up nor delivery inventory at the point of contact. I had to contact Roadrunner MULTIPLE times via email and phone to receive these documents. The delivery price changed at the time of the delivery, and the men stated that they would not unload my items until I paid in full (even though I had paid the quoted amount entirely). Roadrunner picked up my items but subcontracted the delivery to Amber Van Lines. Stay away from roadrunner if you don’t want to deal with the agony and suffering after a big life event (your move). I had requested them to move my items in June, they were not delivered until a month later. Then it was multiple back and forth on the phone and via email to get my claim process going. And now we’re in December. I paid over $2,000 and received such disrespect and lack of professionalism. The customer service agent (Chris) whom I had spoken with a lot in the months of Aug and Sept would often lack answers to my inquiries and was condescending on the phone. After paying, you would think they would be a true moving company and at least package my TV correctly, but no, all my glass and electronics were were in cheap blanket (easily penetrable) and taped. SMH. (see picture) Here is the kicker: they didn’t have my delivery inventory in their records, and then all of a sudden when I disputed my claim, they magically found it and showed that I was only missing my bed and sofa and not the 3 boxes full of items and appliances.

    Terrible experience

    Our cross-country move took much longer than expected: approximately 3 months. They delivered four separate times to our home, because they lost our things in California and New Jersey in transferring items between trucks and warehouses. We are still missing a dozen items, including a safe, but they stopped answering our calls. They never reassembled the furniture that they disassembled even though we paid for the platinum package. When we filed a complaint for missing items and services, they offered us only $92.
