   I had a good experience. Most importantly my very fragile items were all moved with no breakage. The movers arrived on time & efficiently moved my boxes & furniture. Upon arrival, David (by himself) carried everything to the proper room. He checked in prior to arrival to let me know his timing, & had to park his truck down the street, but never complained about the distance he had to move everything. Evan, my liaison was involved from beginning to end, & even checked back after the move was over. All personnel were caring & did their best to ensure a smooth move. The cost was very reasonable. I would use Safe Van Lines again.

   Prompt and courteous service. Some very minor damage but we aren't finished unpacking. I would recommend Safe Van Lines for a move. Things were carefully packed. Eric Green the supervisor/driver was outstanding in every respect. He called us the day before pickup and delivery and was exactly on time both ways.

   My move across country

   The movers arrived on time at my place in Texas. I was impressed with the professional way they wrapped and paced and separated my belongings by delivery location!! The delivery of my furniture was marked by some equipment failures but the drivers did the best they could. Tiana and Carolina deserve special mentioning due to the speed and professionalism they showed in expeditiously smoothing over the hurdles due to their professionalism. I would recommend this company again.

   Careless mover caused needless problems

   Final cost was 30% higher than estimate due to their inability to stack our pieces like they thought they could. Driver spoke no English. Driver got the truck stuck on my steep driveway and spent 3 hours trying to get unstuck before calling a tow truck. They refuse to pay for the scrapes and damaged rubber curb fillers. Several handles and pieces of furniture were lost.Ourwalls and doorways were damaged which they refuse to pay for.

   Worst EVER!!! Thief’s!!

   If you could leave - *, I would. I had a small out of state move. They took over 4 weeks to deliver my items to a storage unit. I am missing an entire box that held my jewelry boxes. They broke a Buddha statue and attempted to tape the head back on, my tool bag is missing, damage to my framed art, my apple computer missing. The movers refused to unload my items without additional $250, which I said I would pay once they provided proof everything was accounted for. They refused. I had no choice but to pay. They definitely extorted money from me. Very condescending staff, in particular Alex and Carolina !! These people are crooks!! Highly advise not moving with this company. They are refusing to address my missing items even after I gave the box number that’s missing and an accounting of the other items missing and broken. The worst moving company ever and very criminal!!

We’d like to clarify a few important details for accuracy, and the actions we've taken in response. Your move from Florida to Indiana took place during the holiday season, with pickup on December 26, 2024 - the day after Christmas. Before booking, you asked if delivery could take place before the New Year, and we were clear that - due to the timing and holiday volume - it was highly unlikely. You chose to proceed with that understanding. On December 24, we reconfirmed that delivery would not occur before January 2. When our crew arrived for pickup on December 26, several items were not packed according to our guidelines and remained loose or unprotected, increasing the risk of damage. Despite this, we proceeded with your move as a courtesy to keep things on track. Your items were delivered on January 10, well within the agreed timeframe. You chose not to be present at delivery due to weather concerns. Our driver and crew completed your delivery, and documented the unloading process with photos, including images showing your Apple computer safely placed inside your storage unit. Per industry standard, and as outlined in your signed agreement, final payment is due before unloading. Additionally, our movers documented a long carry from the truck to your unit, which involved several hallways. We always cover the first 75 feet of long carry at no additional cost. If the long carry is more than 75 feet, a long carry fee may apply. These details are communicated and explained in your moving agreement. Due to the long carry from the truck to your unit, a $150 long carry fee applied at the time of delivery, and photo documentation was submitted. On January 18, you reported two missing boxes. We reviewed your inventory and found that the number of boxes listed in your claim did not match the count on your signed move-day inventory. On January 21, we asked for the specific box number(s). On March 30, you contacted us again, noting damage to a Buddha statue and only one missing box. We responded on March 31, requesting the box number and informing you that your selected coverage - Standard Valuation at $0.60 per pound per item - would apply, since Full Value Protection was not purchased. Nevertheless, we offered to assist with replacing the damaged item if proof of purchase could be provided. On April 2 and 6, we received several messages in which you identified box #113 as the missing one, and claimed it contained jewelry. You also stated that a tool bag and the Apple computer were missing. As shown in photo documentation we've submitted, all items from your inventory, including the Apple computer, were delivered to your unit. If any item(s) were missing after the day of delivery, we recommend contacting your storage facility to review their surveillance footage. Additionally, as outlined in your signed agreement, we do not transport or accept responsibility for jewelry, cash, or other high-value personal items. We also reviewed the inventory sheet, which noted your Buddha statue was marked “SC” (scratched) and “CH” (chipped) at pickup. Despite these pre-existing conditions, we’ve still offered to help replace the item as a gesture of goodwill, pending receipt of the requested documentation. We take all concerns seriously and stand behind the service we provide.    Still waiting on Half my belongings and Refiund

   I recently use safevanlines LLC on April -10 - 2024 to move me from Ringgold Ga to Fayetteville N.C. in a one bedroom apartment delivery was scheduled for 04-12-24 but didn’t happen till 04-17-24 several items were broken and half of my belongings were missing and left behind at a warehouse I was charged for an extra $375 because I went over my feet on the truck but you on bring half of my belongings and don’t want to refund any of my money I still as of 5-08-24 have only 2 pairs of blue jeans and 2 pairs of sweatpants and a few shirts to wear because all my clothes are at you’re warehouse!!Can you imagine going to job interviews and church wear the same clothes and washing clothes every day I feel trap your holding my items hostage and you stay ur waiting on dispatch but you were paid fair price and still charge me more money !! You not even trying to make it right hiding behind your policy of bs I want my belongings and refund is been over 3 weeks now !!

    Horrible Company, Poor Customer Service, Over Charged

    We booked a date to move from south Florida to Colorado. It took twice as long to deliver, and the representative named Evan did not answer his phone for almost 3 weeks; nor did he appoint another representative to follow up with our inquiry and delivery date. He even turned his phone off after mentioning he would give us a call back within the hour to confirm the delivery date. When he would finally pick up the phone, he was unhelpful and rude. Very difficult to work with. We were charged almost $2.9k but as they were loading the truck, they changed an extra $1.2k basing it on the amount of single items rather than cubic feet which was the original estimate we were given. They denied ever giving us that initial quote. On the week of delivery, they insisted that we needed to transfer our stuff from a semi-truck to a Uhaul to be able to park, despite the building authorizing the parking of a semi for less than an hour, and many semi-trucks parking on the street. For this, we were charged X amount, in addition for us to have to download the truck ourselves to avoid apparent extra charges despite us paying for a full service. Evan had mentioned that he would not deduct any of the extra charges because according to the delivery guy it had taken 3 hours to load less than a studio apartment, which in reality took 30 minutes. In addition to insisting that we use a uhaul for him to avoid losing his CDL. Evan later seemingly provided a “discount” which was named-changed uhaul truck delivery costs, making it the same delivery amount of an extra $1.3k (originally charged during the loading of the truck). We were bamboozled. We had no option but to pay the extra charges in order to get our stuff. The delivery guy was very rude, sending text messages implying that we were not going to pay. Some of our items were broken and a box was never delivered. The delivery guy said he would help us bring the boxes upstairs, and in the process, he damaged a wall which we will now have to have repaired. What a terrible and frustrating experience we had. We do not recommend this company and will be submitting a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hope that they as a company are flagged for poor service and charging customers for services that are not needed in order to make a larger profit. Yes, they were the cheapest moving company that we found when we first booked the move, but it ended up being a lot more expensive and delayed in the end. Horrible company.
