   Great service.

   It was our first time using professional moving service. I was a little nervous in the beginning but the sales representative was very nice to explain the entire process to me and assure me that everything will be fine..and he was right. Price was attractive and all the fees were communicated upfront. The movers showed-up on time. They were very organized and wrapped everything carefully before placing it in the truck. They even helped us disassemble our bed! There were no damages and missing stuff. The guys were very efficient and friendly. It was a wonderful experience. If we have to move again without any doubt I will call Secure Moving They are great and I will recommend them to everybody.

   Best service.

   Absolutely "Secure Move". We had a quick turnaround for our move on one of the busiest times of the year and Bob was able to slot us in and arrange storage until delivery. The movers covered all the furniture and dismantled some that we hadn't done then they almost ran while working for 5 hours or so and never slowed the pace. Wes, Zack and Matt did an exemplary job on the move out and again on the move in. They went above and beyond in our opinion and nothing was damaged. We've moved a number of times but never had a more pleasant experience. Thanks for a job well done.

   Careful of extra “trucking charge”

   I moved a one bedroom apartment from Vancouver to Nanaimo, I was quoted $1400 and I ended up paying $3300. It took a lot of work because it was a 3 story walk up and I was prepared to pay a bit extra for that. The two movers he sent were excellent, they worked hard and wrapped and packed all my belongings beautifully however. I would have been quite happy with the service had there not been this extra “trucking” charge that doubled my bill. I asked for an invoice before the move to get an idea of the charges but Maz was not forthcoming. I wish I had been quoted the $3300 so I could have made a better informed decision.

   60% over quoted and charged without my authorization

   Move went relatively smoothly, however, charges were put through on my Visa at almost 60% HIGHER than what was quoted, without my authorization. When inquiring as to why the charges where significantly higher than quoted, they would not respond to my inquiries, only sending me the invoice which had significant extra fees and charges that were not on the quote and were not in included in any fine print. Moving is so stressful, this is such an awful thing to have to deal with during this time. I now have to report the charges on my card as fraudulent with Visa, report them to Consumer Protection, and take them to small claims court. I do not write reviews often, but wanted to make sure others were warned and steer clear of this company to avoid a similar fate.

   Overcharging

   They are a ridiculous scam. Invoices are double quoted amounts. Don’t trust them, don’t use them. Go with someone who will give a real quote, not just a story to get their hooks into you once they have your belongings.

   4 times the quote rip off

   I was charged almost 4 times the original quote to move a 1 bedroom apartment with 20 minutes travel time. The movers themselves were great guys but the company they work for, Secure Moving, is a complete rip off do not ever use them !!

   Secure Moving are outsourced through Metropolitan Movers

   Metropolitan Movers based out of Toronto – Outsourcing to Secure Movers, Burnaby, BC. It is a scam and they trick people into believing they are professional, with Toronto contacts. Never phoned to confirm. Lied stating the insurance was included. Overcharged doubling the amount. People all you have to do is just go to your bank when you get ripped off and reverse the moving scam charges. Never use this company. They can deal with there fraudulent Burnaby company Secure Moving rated at 2.8. They wouldn't give me the name of the company even when using my Visa to get the rest of my belongings. The phone number traced the name of the company. They send text messages saying they have to feed their kids. They give you quotes that are bogus.

   Crooks, steal and break items.

   Donald Trump Nov 29, 2020 Local move within Vancouver, BC Maz is a crook using different names and Toronto to look legitimate. Maz is a crook and should be charged for theft, damage and overcharging. He wouldn't provide invoice, company name, business card. Employees dropped, stole things and broke into locked items. He should go through small claims, with a class action or better a lawyer on a contingency. They lied on line and in person. Do not use this company or Metropolitan movers, or any other fraudulent name he uses. If he keeps phoning and harrassing me I will phone the police He will force you to give out your credit card no. rather than his use a debit machine, while he holds your items in the truck, before the move is completed. They are even arguing to get gas waiting 20 minutes, and go through your stuff when one loads the truck and the other does nothing. Pay and phone the bank, reference whatever is pending, since you won't get an invoice, since he can't justify the excessive charges. They will reference the amount pending, and deactive your credit card, and send you a new card. He will only submit a bill with no name and no information, saying, moving bill. Protect yourself since they drop things as well, and lied about insurance being inclusive, etc. They are crooks from Iran and maybe should be deported. Quite a scam. Get your money back. Maz if you keep calling me that is harassment. We should start a class action and ship you back to Iran. How dare you steal from me, break items, and break locks to steal. You didn't have a seat belt and your partner took off his mask, exposing me to COVID19 for the entire uncomfortable trip. You didn't want someone driving, so they can't witness this and perhaps we should GO Public with CBC. Your invoicing took a month for you to start harassing me. I am now concerned with my safety, since you know where I live. You have other companies providing false claims that you are reputable, with different company names. You are far from being professional, and nag for tips. I gave a tip, to protect myself in court, and told them they were awlful. You accepted the tip you nagged me for, knowing you were stealing from me, and I protected myself as full payment for the terrible move. You have been paid now and I changed my credit card so you can't steal anymore money. If you keep phoning and harassing me, I will get a lawyer to sue you for thousands of dollars, and deport you. Many people are not posting, but lawyers can request copies of invoices, you refuse to provide, which is proof in itself. You are harassing me and won't even leave a message. If we go to court, I will sue for punitive damages, harassment and return of my tip, that proves to the judge, that this is what you accepted as full payment. Although, I do regret giving it to you, when nagged to do so, and protected myself. If I ever see you or your workers near my home, I will call the police. Buyer beware!!!     Very crooked company.

    This company calls it's self Secure Moving, and boasts BBB credibility as well as WCB covered. The owners name is [NAME EDIT] (if that"s even true) They are advertising heavily on Craigslist under numerous phone numbers and ads. We had them out to move my daughter in mission, and they showed up with 3 guys and a poorly equipped vehicle on a quote of max 5 hrs @ $100.00hr. When I arrived I found one of the movers sun tanning and exercising on the front lawn. they took an hour lunch, worked extremely slow ,and made 2 trips when there was only enough items for one load in total. When they were done, they requested an amount that was double+ the original quote. A very expensive china cabinet and a terrarium were badly damaged. When we approached the compant ower regarding the damage, he then at that point insisted that we pay him insurance premiums $30. After all was said and done we paid his company $740.00. He apparently did not pay his movers, claiming he had not been paid either,and that if they wished to get paid, they were to contact my daughter and force her to pay even more (about $480.00) more to cover their wages, and that if they did'nt harras her on his behalf they would not recieve any pay what so ever.
