   Excellent company.

   I had packed everything and they took my things in storage for about 5 months. I don't know why Neil never called me to ask for the money I should be paying every month for storage. I paid all together in the end but it gave me the impression these guys care for more things than money. When I finally had a flat to move in, even though in the 3rd floor without lift, Ross and his team made it look as the easiest thing in the word. I was worried that something would be missing. But everything was there. Very organized and tidy did a difficult job in a perfect way. I would definitely recommend Stirling Removals to anyone that wants to move.

   Sterling Service.

   Absolutely fantastic job from Sterling Sinclair Removals. A team were due to arrive and start work at 8.45. A team of three were there for 8.15, organised and very efficient. The whole job was packed and loaded by 11.00. Zero fuss, everything was carefully handled and any request was no trouble at all. Unloading at our new house was slightly delayed but they were happy to wait and the unloading took under an hour. Everything arrived in perfect condition and all placed where we wanted it. Nice to deal with approachable upbeat employees who have a ‘can-do’ attitude. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Made a potentially stressful day genuinely a breeze.

   We moved from Portpatrick to Larbert in early June. From Neil giving us a quote until the move was complete everything was spot on. The 4 men were clean, smart, friendly and very professional. We would recommend them to anyone planning a move.

   Professional removal company.

   From our quote, through to our removal, we received a first class, professional service from Ross at Sterling Removals. He was joined by Mark on the moving day. These guys were incredibly polite and nothing was too much for them. Our removal presented some practical challenges which they managed in an incredibly solution-focused way. We can’t recommend this company highly enough. Thanks, guys!

   Moving house within Edinburgh

   I had a truly awful experience of moving house with SSR in June of this year. Truly depressing. The guys that came to do the packing the first day and removal the next day were pleasant enough people but totally inadequate for the job in number and in organisation. We made so little progress on the removal day and I had to phone my lawyer to contact the new owners of my house to delay their arrival. Embarrassing. The lorry they brought was not big enough and they had to call on another team with much delay and very bad feeling between me, the management and the staff. I will not go into all the things that went wrong, suffice to say, eventually the guys got the first lorry on the road to my new home. I left, on arrival of the new owners, with many of my belongings in the front garden, in the garage, and on the back garden terrace awaiting the arrival of the second van. Much was left behind in the disarray. And much was damaged in the removal. I was particularly distressed that my 150-year-old dining room table had dents in it, where something heavy had been laid on top of it without sufficient padding. Once I had sufficiently recovered, I wrote to the owner of the company who had originally done the estimate for me. I pointing out my problems with the move, particularly my dining room table . Needless to say I was deafened by the silence and have had no correspondence from the firm or apology. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

   SterlingSinclair removal

   This company broke, damaged beyond repair and lost numerous items during my move, ranging from footwear, household, kitchen and garden equipment and office items. Because I had to handle the unpacking by myself, it took much longer than the 7 days stipulated in the Terms and Conditions for reporting breakages and losses and they were typically only missed where I came to look for or use something, only to discover that items were missing. SS were totally disinterested, offering me a paltry sum in compensation for two damaged lamps and damaged ceramics and nothing at all for the missing goods.They also failed to return the damaged items to me to see if I could get them fixed elsewhere. Many methodical searches at my new house over a period of weeks confirmed that the missing items were not in my possession, but emails from me expressing my concerns were met with denial that the items were either on their premises, mistakenly delivered elsewhere or lost in transit. Finally they ignored subsequent correspondence, referring me only to their Ts&C's, a convenient and, in my opinion, unreasonable time frame in which a customer can be expected to notice missing items after a move from a large property like mine.

    Scotland to England removal

    Pleasant lads - but seemed inexperienced in packing some valuable items.Wrapped sticky glue tape around Canon printer. So hard to remove. Assessor forgot to mention piano removal - not really prepared for that. Driver not informed of itinerary. Poor admin. Many items broken. Acknowledged and offered correction but not for everything. Sub-contracted removal company to unpack into storage - chaotic and more damage to furniture witnessed by unit manager! Piano not built up correctly at delivery end. Dropped off goods not meant for a destination . Pretty shambolic experience - pity .... ongoing fight for fair compensation.
