    Do Not Use This Company.

During the move a nightstand was damaged and also my dining room table was damaged. Since everything was moved into storage there is no telling what else was damaged because of how my items were mishandled. I was also charged fifty extra dollars and not given a receipt at the end of the move. The charged the extra fifty  to move some extra boxes which I didn’t mind paying for, but I also traded them moving the flat screen tv and a big chair with an ottoman if they would move one small bookshelf. One of the men also said that he wanted to take the chair and ottoman since I was going to put it by the dumpster and I agreed.  All my boxes marker fragile seemed to get knocked around harder and one of the workers was especially rude and made me feel like he was doing me a giant favor by providing the service I had already paid your company in CASH to provide since no banks were open on Sunday for me to get a money order. Your company also provided this service a day late with no regret or apologies. The table and nightstand were broken in front of my eyes. There is no argument that it was their fault. They did not wrap any  items as your company promised and I feed terribly abused as a customer and also take advantage of. I would also like to speak to your general manager regarding the services provided.   My complaint is that I was promised a moving crew on Sat June 30th between 1-6. They called several times to announce that they were running late, and that they would for sure be there to complete my move that night since my lease ended at midnight on June 30th. After calling your company more than 12 times and being on hold for over an hour, I had to deal with an agent who thought the entire situation was humorous and was very unprofessional during the times he thought I was not listening to the conversation he was having with his coworkers when I placed him on hold since I was trying to find another company to move my items. No one was in contact with me until 9pm on Friday night, only to inform me that they were not coming and would be there first thing In the morning and that I would be given a priority pass.  Keep in mind that at this point it was 9pm and no one was available. He placed me on hold again for another thirty mins and then said a manager would call me back in five to ten mins. I was forced to call in sick at my job, and missed an entire day of work because when the movers did show up at 8:30am they forgot to move the dresser and box-spring in the master bedroom. In addition to having to calling in sick, because I was still in the apartment unit past midnight on Saturday June 30this when my lease had expired, I was charged a full month’s rent. I called your company multiple times for hours and was promised that the movers would return to move the forgotten items to the storage unit which was less than a mile from the apartments location. No one showed up and when it was 6pm, I called your company again and spoke with a manager who seemed very unconcerned with my current dilemma. I feel like I have been treated like complete crap even after I have paid your company for a service that you only provided in part. I believe that I have a legitimate claim and if the issues are not addressed in a timely manner I will have no problem taking this matter to a small claims court.  Please call me at your earliest convenience. In regards to this case my move code is **. I would also like the e-mail of your manager.

    Anyone But Them!!

RUN AWAY!! CALL ANYONE ELSE!! Please please please take my advice and do NOT EVER use Apartment Movers. They do not even show up!! I called several weeks before my move to schedule them. They called and confirmed my reservation the day before and then NEVER SHOWED UP!! After the 5 hour window passed I stared calling to see where the movers were, I was told it would be another 2 hours. After that I spent the rest of the day staring at my boxes in the garage. No call, no apology, nothing. Even after speaking with the corporate office nothing happened; they only kept transferring me to the local branch manager, Scott. The first phone call I received back from this horrible company was at 8 o'clock the NEXT DAY. I ask what had happened and he said "Well I had 3 moves yesterday". I told him it was an awful way to run a business and he hung up on me. This was the worst moving experience in my life and I want to save someone the trouble I went through. Pay a little extra and go with a better rated company.

    Stay Away!

Do not use Apartment Movers. The movers are great individuals, but the company will screw you over in a heartbeat and think nothing of it. 8-30-11: I knew this was going to be bad. I should have seen the writing on the wall. In addition to sending a trailor too small for the job (had to make two trips and double the time), they quadruple-billed me for the job, which left me broke for about a week. They were in no hurry to fix anything, and were very quick to make me the culprit in all of this. None of this was my fault at all, but I was made to feel that I was the criminal. I would think twice before doing business with this company. I am waiting for assistance with the damage to several items during the move. Somehow, I don't think they will be very cooperative. Stay away from these guys. UPDATE (8-31-11): Now they are going to dispute the NSF charges and claim I have filed. I got a call from a representative of the company indicating they are going to refer my case to a higher power within the company to dismiss the charges. These guys are trying to bully me into submission. It won't work. Do yourself a favor and use another moving company. Nothing good can come from using this low-life company.

    Worst Movers Ever.

Beware - this company uses many names and telephone numbers - 415 East Airport Frwy, #400, Irving, TX - The movers did not bring a large enough truck to move my things. They knew how much there was to move since they packed my apartment the day before. The youngest was very careless, when using the dolly he would just let it fall from one step to the next without controlling the drop. I brought their attention to my glass art and asked them to be very careful with it. I had been advised by the owner, Nils Johnson, that they would be very careful with my belongings and she would send her best crew. If this is their best crew I would hate to see the worst. I saw the largest piece of art was stuck in a box wrapped in a single piece of paper. I asked the team leader to please pack it more securely and he took it out of the box and said he was going to wrap it in bubble warp and blankets. It was the last I ever saw of the art. When the truck was full we left for the house leaving a lot boxes and things still to move. We left between 10 and 11 Am. When we got to the house they asked me where to put the boxes and I noticed they had not labeled the boxes. I told them we would have to figure out where to put the boxes as they unpacked them. I was told they were not unpacking them. I told them they were indeed unpacking them and they better check with the office. They found out they were unpacking everything. After they unloaded the truck they went back to the apartment to get the remainder of my things. I stayed at the house to wait for the cable, telephone and internet installer. When they returned I started asking where the large piece of art was. They told me they still had lots of boxes to unpack. I kept asking and was finally told between 5 & 6 PM that they had broken it that morning before we left the apartment. Since they did not know at that time that they were unpacking everything they thought they could get away without telling me about it. I asked where the art was and was told that it had been thrown away. I told them that it was possible it could have been fixed. They said it was in too many pieces to be fixed. I told them it was not their decision to make they should have brought it to me and let me decide. Finally after many discussions they told me they had taken a picture of it with their phone so they could prove they had not stolen it. They let me see the picture and they had broken the top right hand corner of the piece. The team leader told me they had brought everything from the apartment, there was nothing left. My cleaning lady went to the apartment the next morning and called me to let me know that quite a few things were left in the apt. I got the claims manager to send me the picture and forwarded it to the glass gallery. I was advised that it could have been fixed and still be a viable piece of art. They threw away my property. As far as I'm concerned that is theft. It was not their call to make. The cost of the art was $1,035 and the movers sent me a check for $25.

    4 hours, 20 minutes Late.

I was given an arrival time of 9am. The move quote gave me a window of 7-12pm. I immediately called back and told them that this was unacceptable as my friends who were going to help me move weren't going to wait all day for you guys. I was then given priority for 9am 21 days before my move. The day before, I get a reminder call that my move will start at 9am. On the day of, I called at 9:10am and was told that they were running two hours late. The excuse, "we'll, I can't have my men standing around doing nothing." To make a long story short, over 4 hours come before they show up. Once they came, they worked well and fast. My father-in-law and I helped both load and unload. I was quoted $100/hour for a 3 man crew and a 20-foot truck with no fees for the piano, travel time, gas, lead time, etc. 4 hours and 20 minutes late with such advance notice is inexcusable. In all, I would not recommend using them - try All-My-Sons or Midnight Hour Movers. I don't see how a company can run a business by purposefully making their customers wait.
