   Luis' crew was great.

   I will say, we had a lot of stuff, and Luis' crew was efficient and very careful with our things. Really good service. Showed up on time, and they were very conscientious. 5 stars plus!

   Great moving company!

   I have just moved some furniture from my old house to a new place and the service provided by Daniel and Brandon was excellent! They worked very well, even though today was raining, they made sure to pack my things very well, so it did not become wet. Thank you guys for everything.

   Excellence Same Day Service.

   The crew was very professional, prompt and provided excellent handling of furniture, including heavy elipitcal machine. Highly recommend and definitely plan to use again. Excellent and smart crew indeed. Great price for same day service!!

   Lacks customer service

   The Move Place performed a move for me in July 2022. During the decision making process, Walter communicated well and answered all questions. We decided on the largest truck with 4 movers and in the event we needed another truck, one would be available and communicated by movers if needed. We had many items including too large for us to move including a queen size bed, mattress, freezer and many boxes that would not fit on truck. At no time was it communicated to us these items would not fit nor did the crew contact to have other arrangements to move these until they were closing the truck to leave. We had to scramble to rent a trailer at a local store to have this loaded. Although the movers were hard working, none of the 4 man crew spoke fluent English. It was very difficult and time consuming to attempt to communicate via interpreter app. This made it difficult to have items put in locations during unload as well. There were items lost, incorrectly put back together and broke. Several calls and emails were made to the office following this move. We were informed that Walter would need to follow up, however, no return communication has been made as of yet to remedy. This was a disappointing move and the company lacks on communication and customer service.

   Disappointed with Management

   Movers were great! Helpful and hard working. Would give them 5 stars!! It’s due to the management that we give 2 stars. The supervisor Bobby poorly scheduled 2 men for a 3 man job. We called for a 3rd man. He said he’d look into it and never called back. Since there were only 2 men, it took much longer and cost us three times what he quoted. Very rude and unapologetic when we tried to talk with him. Would never recommend this company as long as Bobby is in charge.

   Stay away

   Takes advantage of old people. Hired this company to move my parents across the street to another apartment. Barely over 1k sq ft apartment that two grown men ended up taking 8 hours to move less then a .25 mile. Ended up charging over 1k for something I could’ve done with a buddy but instead have the feeling of highway robbery. Sad that people do business this way. This type of move used to cost 300 and we thought that was a lot. Over a thousand for two grown men lollygagging for 8 hours with a trip charge and deposit fee. I much rather have donated my money to a good cause vs feeling like this.

   Bad Service

   This was my second time using this company - first time they were great. The second time, however, they dropped our mattress in the dirt/woodchips and didn't tell us, lost some of our stuff, and charged us $60 extra due to miscommunication resulting from speaking through a translation app. When I reached out to them nobody responded. Would not recommend.

   Bobby is a horrible manager. Will make you regret it

   Bobby is an extremely unprofessional p.o.s! First time I used them it was recommended by smart city aptartment locators. First time was great (so I thought). They moved quickly or maybe it was timely (I didn’t have much, mainly large furniture for 1 person). I moved to storage for 3 weeks until my new apartment was ready. Then comes the second move from storage to new apartment. I decided to use them again (big mistake). They called hours early (AGAIN) and the first time it was okay because I was like I might as well get a move on earlier but this time my move was already early and I work nights so I was keen on sticking to our time. None of the workers spoke full English. At least the first time one of them did, so it made things smoother. This time none did, so it was difficult to communicate with them what I needed. The tablet stuff they had me sign was in Spanish too! After they moved my stuff in they were standing around talking on the phone and I was basically like okay if it’s over I need you guys to go, don’t try to run up the time. Then I called Bobby. Mind you when setting everything up he’s acted snarky and hung up on me before. I should have known then but next time I’ll know better...I paid on the phone, cool. Then I realized they still had my broom about 20 min after they left and I called him again and he got an attitude with me as if it is not both my and the workers responsibility to check if everything’s with me...but ok, they brought my broom back cool. Then I laid on my bed (adjustable base) and realized the middle was off. It took me a while of coming back & looking at it to realize my gram was missing! After calling rude a** Bobby he got another attitude with me asking all these irrelevant questions then said he’d get back to me ( I knew he was lying). I’ve been calling them throughout the day with no response and he just picked up just now trying to pretend he couldn’t hear me then hung up. Like really?! I hope you stick my bed frame in a place it don’t shine Bobby. I will be reporting you guys. Don’t bother responding with snarky remarks either or acting like you want this resolved, I’ve seen the previous reviews.

    Damaged furniture

    I moved from Dallas to Farmers Branch a few weeks ago and used The Move Place . They only had to move a few pieces of furniture. While moving our TV console they broke the molding trim on the the side where it was loaded onto the hand truck. After looking at the damage he told my wife that he will take care of it. I called and received a Quote for the repair which was estimated to be $350. After texting him with no reply, I called him and he said they will give me $30 . That’s what he calls taking care of it? Also , When they were done with the move , Alex the lead mover ask my wife to pull up google on her phone and took her phone and gave himself a good review. I do not recommend this mover at all, they will break your furniture and will not stand behind there service.
