   Scam: Crooks: Liars.

   Do not use Trucks On Call. They are scam artists. They will do exactly the criminal things they say others will do to you. They will surprise you with more fees, they will hold your stuff hostage, and they stole a large portion of our things and said we had to file a claim AFTER paying the final payment, even though they didn’t finish the job and never even looked. SCAM!!

   WARNING! If you see the name Trucks on Call--run the other way--FAST!

   This is by far the worst company of any kind I have ever dealt with. There are so many issues, it would take a novel to list them all, but it pretty much boils down to zero communication skills, zero customer service skills, zero concern for anything but their bottom dollar, and unconscionable decisions that put their movers at risk for health Communication was fine until after they snagged my business--completely absent after that. Email requests for information and updates were not acknowledged, much less responded to. Phone calls were avoided or answered by rude, unprofessional staff, in particular Alex and Sam, who argued with me about various details of the storage and delivery. In one instance, speaking with the supervisor Matteo, I mentioned that the company needed to improve their customer service skills, and he flat out told me I was not a customer, I was just someone they wanted to be done with!! The team that picked up my household goods came two hours after the latest time of their estimated arrival. When they arrived, I learned they had already been working 12 hours!! Isn't there a labor law about this? So, I get a tired, weary crew, who only wanted to rush through the job to get home. The word "fragile" meant nothing to them, as they tossed boxes onto their dolly and put heavy boxes on top of lighter ones marked "fragile." One mover loaded my antique breakfront, and I watched in horror as it almost toppled off the dolly as he went over the threshold. This, despite my specific request for special handling of this item. Similarly, when I took delivery of my items, only two movers came, which would have been fine if I didn't have a pool table and an upright piano. Their supervisor was presumably not able to secure additional help, so he (the supervisor) told the movers to go out and find someone to help them. More than half of my plastic bins were damaged, and the boxes were stacked upside down, so not only could I not see the label, things like lamps and glassware were scrambled inside. They did not honor their contract terms by reassembling items at the final destination. The driver put one bed together, but he was late for another delivery (because he had to take 1 1/2 hours to recruit more help) and because he said he did not have the skill to re-assemble a pool table. Oh, did I mention the actual cost was $2K over the estimate? They did not do a pre-move survey presumable to save money so relied on me to tell them how many boxes I had, and of course, they came up with a different number because they said my boxes were bigger and took up more cubic feet of space than was estimated. So many other details that I could share, but you get the gist. If I could, I would sue this company for medical expenses, as I am sure I was starting to get an ulcer due to experience. I will settle for this review and a report to BBB, along with compensation for any damaged items that I am likely to find due to their reckless handling of my property. I urge all potential movers to stay away from Trucks on Call!!

   Worse company!! Do Not do bussiness.

   At first they sound professional and they call you a lot to try to get your bussiness, but once the delivery is done you can Not get back in touch with anyone.First they give you an estimate and once they arrive to load up they told me that I need it to pay more because I have more after I already sign a contract with them,if you tell them that you don't want the service they will Not refund you the deposit and after going back and forth we finally agreed on a new price, the guys loading and unloading the truck were hard workers, Also be aware that they tell you about insurance and that is garbage because it does Not cover nothing at all, if something happen to your things they argue that is not cover for a lot of reasons, and they offer you a miserable settlement that is an insult to you, the owner do not seem to care about you or what happened to your things, and they never call you to apologize about what happen or anything like that. So be AWARE!! if you do bussiness with them!!

   Warning they are Crooks.

   WARNING they are CROOKS! I could leave a negative I would for other customers to view how low they should really be as their business practices are. Easy shipment and estimate of furniture, already prepackaged and shipped from overseas to the east coast their job was to bring it to the west coast. Based on the reviews of others on overcharging I expressed my concern to the sales person. The person mentioned the A+ rating by the BBB falsely advertised on their web page it is only a B. Blamed the comments on the stresses of moving. Yes, I have been overcharged 43% and forced to authorized the shipment based on the information they had on the circumstances. They took advantage of us, with lies and false promises and information. When I tried to speak to the owner he was condescending and making fun of what I was trying to explain. Terrible people to do business with. Please pay $500 dollars more but go with someone else you would save yourselves the aggravation.

   Beyond Horrible - Do NOT Book them.

   I’m sincerely disappointed with the outcome of this company’s service. It was absolutely horrible. The team’s choice of words (dispatch over the phone - I would tell you who I spoke to besides the main guy, but he declined to tell me his last name when I asked) and demeanor left much to be desired. I’ve never felt so angry with a company in my life. As you know, moves are very personal and schedule dependent and when the dispatch team member on call over the weekend said things like “well, why don’t you just move yourself” after I was upset that we scheduled for the next day upon their on location team’s recommendation after showing up on our original day with a truck that would only fit one bed let alone a full one bedroom apartment and then the company didn’t show up. I sincerely hope they work through your customer service opportunities. No empathy at all came from them. By far, the worst moving company I’ve ever felt with.

   Horrible experience.

   DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They damaged ALL of my belongings and I got 0 refund, despite the contract which states $0.60/lb of insurance. These are terrible business people and scammers. Also, you will pay WAY more than they quote you. I have made tireless attempts to get some type of compensation, but they're just dishonest business people. Avoid at all costs!

   Avoid These Crooks!!

   We paid for a full pack and move, but received neither. I was told we would just sit back and drink coffee while they packed and loaded the truck. They showed up with 3 movers to pack and load a 4 bedroom house. On top of that, the movers showed up with a partial full truck and could not fit all of our items on the truck. After 9 hours they informed us the truck was full and they were going to leave. When we asked about the items not loaded, they had no plan on how they were going to resolve. Fearing they would hold our goods hostage and increase the price, just as other reviews had stated, we told them they are not taking our items. There were no managers available when my wife and I tried to reach someone to resolve. After 45 minutes the trucking manager, Sam, called from his house to tell us his guys were taking our stuff and that was that. We had to call the police to prevent them from taking our items. The police had to inform Sam that if his movers took our stuff, they would be arrested for theft. They no longer had permission to move us. After another 3 hours, they finally unloaded the truck and we had to find new movers. I am not fighting to get my deposit back as they did not move us.

   Extremely Poor Service, Unprofessional Rude Company.

   This is the WORSE moving company EVER!! DO NOT waste your time, money or subject your belongings to this company. The representative lied from the very beginning quoting me a low ball rate and then when the movers came, they more than doubled the cost and even threatened to stop packing the truck as the cost and amount of items were more than what the representative had quoted me. They even charged a fee for me using my credit card, which was not told to me until they day they picked up my furniture. The are all NASTY NASTY NASTY people and have absolutely NO customer service skills because it is only about ripping off the customer. This company is a scam and so is their insurance coverage. Many items were broken and some lost and I only received $120 after all the damage and loss. Trucks on Call has no idea of what providing anyone with the highest level of service because they are scam artists including the owner, the supervisor and the representatives who lie when they give a quote. Avoid this company like the plague or you will regret it!! Wish I had gone with a more professional and well know company that knows how to serve and treat customers because Obo Trucks on Call Inc have NO CLUE!!

   Unprofessional and Dishonest.

   Intentionally low ball quotes only to raise rates after items are loaded. Do not deliver on promises dates, do not work with customers schedule, threaten to charge extra if not able to deliver on their schedule after already missing their agreed upon delivery time.

    Move from Pa to Fl.

    They are rude unprofessional scammers! Was given a quote..they came to pick up my things and price jumped even though I removed things from original quote list. Was told they would need to pick up my things at least a week before my move in order to guarantee delivery when we got to Florida. Was disrespected by Sam..he told me he didn't care about my complaint or if I call the BBB. We habe moved and they have all our belongings. Every time I call I'm told there is still no trailer to bring my things to me! Gonna tell them they can keep my stuff ..We will just start over! Not giving them anymore of my money! Stay clear of this company! Wish I would've!!
