   John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys and a Truck

   We had a great experience using John Mitchell Moving/Two Guys and a Truck for our recent move. They were prompt, professional and very easy to work with. They put everything where we asked and didn't grumble when we changed our mind. They also did a great job of not banging furniture into anything. It was a job well done! I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a mover.

   Moving Experience

   Probably the best recommendation is that we have used Two Guys recently and two times in the past in the Anderson area and will continue in the future. They are prompt, professional., and very caring. They do not have hidden charges, as others, and are priced fairly.

   John Mitchell's Two Guys and a Truck were AWESOME!!

   Three guys came with the big, yellow truck on time and loaded the furniture quickly, safely, and professionally. I told them they were like moving tornados, and they truly were. At the new apartment, they had to carry it all up a very long flight of stairs, and they did so cheerfully if slightly less quickly?? I will recommend them to anyone who needs movers without reservation!

   Moving.

   They were very thorough and patient with my move. My apartment double booked the elevator which caused a 3.5 hour delay but the guys waited for the other people to finish and then got me moved it.

   Horrible customer service

   My experience this time was so terrible that I can't stress enough to go with a different company. Ann, the office manager was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I have her voicemail and would attach it here if reviews permitted that. I was told that I would receive a phone call prior to the movers arriving. I waited this morning and didn't receive one. Then I called was informed that the movers were there waiting for 45 minutes and that I was responsible for paying for that time they waited because someone wrote my phone number incorrectly. When I called, Ann said "normal people" would be where they are supposed to be. They decided to have three movers and NEVER informed me. They moved the same stuff from my old house to the storage with 2 movers. Costing me $77 more per hour more than anticipated. I didn't authorize an additional mover. The owner came to my house last time to give me a quote and left his business card. I have misplaced it (while moving) and Ann refuses to give me his contact info. The actual movers was great tho office ppl suck an don’t accept they was wrong

   Thieves and liars.

   TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY. Sent packers he hired from a 'shelter' that stole credit cards and an apple TV device from us, and committed fraud with our cards. Showed up unprofessionally in a run down car covered in rust. ("Tasha" and "Mike") The Movers he uses showed up very stoned, took 8 hours to do a 4 hour job with 3 guys. (Adam, Cornelious? and maybe Brian?) Truck too small to move a small townhouse, had to make 3 trips. They stopped on the way over of the first trip and smoked more weed (could smell it more strongly upon arrival) and snacks/drinks. They also took this time to take one of my boxes with all my top of dresser items (make up, perfume, lotion, rings, bracelets, also some clothes I packed on top, etc) in it, I think in hopes my jewelry was worth anything (it's not really to them, but I paid enough for them over the years)..so I am missing a whole box of things I need and that meant something to me. (Probably heard rings in the box) I sat waiting for over 15 min for them to bring the first truck over. We were way over charged for this mess of an experience. One of the 3 guys got "sick", probably from smoking too much pot and had to leave. They did send a replacement who was way better and not stoned, thankfully, or the move never would have gotten done. The owner, John Maranda, claims he "doesn't have" the full names of the packing people HE sent for us to press charges. They also damaged a bar stool as well as a night stand and only offer was to come "fix" with wood putty, no reimbursement. He also claims he "doesn't know how to refund a credit card" for a refund of any sort. He asked us to help him figure out how to refund us. What a joke. Lies and theft with no cares given what-so-ever. doesn't try to help or recover items or question his movers as to what they did with the box when they stopped. Don't waste your time. Use a reputable company. never again. shouldn't have to pay a dime for this terrible stressful, experience. should have known better, but this also shouldn't happen. negative 5 stars if I could.

   Two Guys and a Truck.

   The movers showed up on time and that was the last thing that they did right. They did not pack one of my cabinets. I noticed it and I said you are going to pack this aren't you? He said yes. They left everything from that cabinet and from all the drawers in my kitchen at my rental house. my landlord then threw it all away and charged me my full deposit for having to throw it away. They also did not hook up my dryer is I had requested. they were supposed to email me a customer satisfaction form but never did. I tried to call and make a complaint and they told me I needed to come in. Very very very dissatisfied. I lost a lot of money.
