   Best Move ever!

   Interstate moving could be a major ordeal. I had experienced it with my brother and his family, about a year ago and it was a mess for me! The company they hired couldn't have done any worse than they did. When my good neighbor recommended united moving services to me, I hoped and prayed I did not end up with the kind of amateurs from my brother's time. These guys did very well. They went the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant experience. Great resources for a company that is barely 2 years old.

   Fast Move, Excellent Servie.

   I needed to move between states for a job, and United Moving Services quoted me the best possible price. It was a quick move, and short notice at that, but the company was able to fit me in, and got everything done fast. I packed up, and they came through with the muscle and the trucks, and were on time. Everything went according to plan, and I was at work within a few days, starting a new venture.  .

   Professional and efficient.

   I moved my son down to TX and had to get most of his furniture to him. I found united moving services and they handled everything for me. It was the easiest move I have ever been a part of. He had a decently large amount of furniture sitting in our garage and the movers came and and got all of the boxes, furniture and odd pieces in no time. They protected everything well as they loaded up, and were gone inside of 2 and 1/2 hours! It's already reached him in Austin and nothing was damaged. They also didn't charge us a penny more than the original quote we were offered. Thank u guys! Really appreciate the stress relief! I would definitely recommend to any friend.

   Simple Move - Fair Price.

   I needed to make a quick move on a tight budget and United Moving Services came through for me. Mine was a straightforward move from an apartment in Colorado to a similar apartment in Florida - nothing too complicated. United Moving was at my Colorado apartment to load me when they said they would be and a week later they delivered to my Florida apartment when they said they would. The price was fair, everything was intact upon arrival, and the movers were polite and efficient. I couldn't have asked for more.

   Worried.

   Unfortunately, I am just reading some of these reviews and am worried about my scheduled move. I had talked with Don at United moving services back in September to schedule this move. He gave me what I thought was a competitive quote and I have made my deposit for this move. Now I find out that this is not a moving company per se, but, as others have stated, a broker. I started to wonder about this when, as of this morning, I had not heard from anyone about the move which is scheduled for thisWednesday (or Perhaps Thursday-another odd thing about the scheduled move by this company that should have given me reason to do my research). I believe most moving companies schedule a move date and that IS the move date-not either/or days. I am still waiting to hear from the REAL movers, about pick-up of my belongings! When I called United Moving Services, they said I would hear from the movers 24 hrs before. I travelled 13 hours by car to be here when the movers moved my stuff-now I am very worried. Will post here again to update on my move, as it proceeds.

   I am following ALL the other complaints!!! I wish i'd have foud this before I was SWINDLED!!!! Frank Forde, Alisa Moore 800-544-5354 ext 362 is a B!+(# And as stated in previous reviews... THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK!!!! Don't Believe their BS.. They are "BROKERS" NOT "MOVING COMPANY" PLEASE Heed our Warnings!!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE 1 OF YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS

   All are Liars working there (Specially Tamara)- they promised one rate and finally they charge double of that. Most of the items where damaged and Missing. No response calling multiple times. Please don't go with this company, if you want your things to be safely moved and not to charge double. I am giving one start just because I don't have the option of giving negative.

   Could not have had a worse experience with this company. I cannot believe they are still in business. The initial set up was done without incident - after that it was lie, after lie, after lie. I called one week prior to the move and was guaranteed, 100%, that the movers would be there on either May 23rd, or 24th without exception. Received a call on May 24th at 4pm - the movers would be there at 7:00 am on the 25th. The movers arrived (with an already half filled truck from another move) at 8:00 am on the 25th - the driver stated they were there at 7am but didn't want to start until 8am, so they waited in a parking lot down the street. There were only 2 men with the truck - they stated more movers would be arriving shortly - about 10 am 3 men arrived, spoke with driver, they discussed their pay rate and were not satisfied with what they would be paid so they left. (They found these people on Craigs' list.) They then had to call for more help, which arrived 3 hrs. later. 4 trucks(already half filled) had to be used. The movers finally left at 11pm stating that the move would take at least 3-5 days. After a week we began calling the moving company, would not return calls and when we were finally able to talk to someone there were multiple excuses - truck broke, no crew etc. The furniture finally arrived today, June 29th - furniture was dirty and damaged, lamps broken, legs missing from couches, 2 leather chairs slashed, mattress & box spring missing, just to name a few. I will tell everyone I know and will post in as many places as I can so no one else would have to go thru what we went thru with this company.

   Moving experience

   United moving company is a broker. They have a great sales staff and you are asked to put down a deposit. United then chooses the carrier and takes no responsibility after. United did not return my calls, or emails. I was told to contact the carrier again and again. We did not receive our belongings for 29 days after the salesperson told us it would be 1-7 days. Our furniture was damaged, our walls were damaged and things are missing. The subcontractor hired was nonprofessional and rude. They left all the windows and doors, including the garage open when they left. This resulted in running out of heating fuel. Atlantic the subcontractor sent one man to move our house. They said the other movers didn't show up. The man dragged our furniture leaving a couch half in and half out of the door in the freezing rain. His boss responded," what else could he do". Skip the broker. Ask your friends and relatives for referrals. Do not go on the internet. Atlantic s website, emails and phone number are not picked up. We were told one price and then that was increased because we had more than was on the inventory. My bed was broken,antique tables were chipped, one arrived with its leg broken off. Hire your own carrier, research them, and hopefully have a good move. Using United Moving and being subcontractor to Atlantic did not result in a satisfactory experience. It was horrific.

    Complete scam.

    Writing this because my roommate almost got scammed. These guys and their movers will try to scam you for more at the day of moving, with the mover claiming they didn't get enough money from united. They wanted an additional $1,000 when they pulled into the driveway! Kindly told them to leave. Stay away!
