   All I can say is that these guys are great. Very professionals, respectful and funny. Even though moving is very stressful they made it less painful with their hard work and positive attitude. Great work.

   USA Family Moving was fantastic! USA Family morning was extremely helpful getting everything situated for us even though we had to move at the last minute. The furniture was wrapped up and everything was handled with care. I highly recommend USA Family Moving.

   Major turn around in customer service!

   After a pretty bad moving and damage claim experience, I posted a negative review and the company. Within hours the owner Ericka called to get to the bottom of the problems. She took our concerns very seriously and over the next few days, after conducting her due diligence, adjusted our claim amount to reflect what we thought we were owed. Our main contact John also followed up to apologize and explain his view of what happened. He was also very understanding. This was real customer service. We would recommend USA Family moving to anyone.

   BUYER BEWARE

   BUYER BEWARE: Before booking a move with USA Family moving please reconsider. I am currently going through a claims process for furniture that was damaged by the 3 movers that USA Family Moving provided end of August and it is a complete pain (see attached images of two damaged columns that belong to my Entertainment Center and the middle section of a 3-seat couch). Don't waste your time booking the basic insurance as you are only reimbursed for .60 cents per lbs for whatever your damaged item is worth. Also they calculate depreciation for the age of your items (5% for every year) so you are literally reimbursed pennies for expensive furniture that they damage. We booked moving for 5 hours. The move ended up taking 8 hours because they only provided 3 movers and they were practically teenagers who had trouble carrying heavier items, thus, resulting in the damage seen in the attached photos. The response to my claim has been very delayed and not helpful at all. Matter a fact they argue with you via email, how unprofessional! I would not recommend this moving service. Lastly, I highly recommend that during ANY move with ANY company that you keep a close eye on your personal items to avoid personal items being stolen, this is a very common occurrence during moves so be careful!

   Movers created extensive damage

   Beware if the higher ratings you see listed. Any damage settlement offers require you to remove negative reviews. There were a large number of hidden costs and a 4 person crew did not come prepared with shoe coverings (I either had to allow shoes on new carpet or purchase plastic to be put down. This plastic left a sticky film and wasn’t even placed on all the places walked leaving dirt stains). I was promised experienced movers and care and did not receive this. Because I didn’t purchase the premium insurance they offer .60/pound depreciated 5% per year. So the thousands of dollars in damage I received an offer for $355 even though the damage was not due to jostling during the move in the truck out lack of experience, neglect and lack of care. For example would an experienced mover drag a beanbag across a garage floor and driveway? Would an experience mover unwrap your mattress and then step boxes that had been unloaded on a driveway/garage floor on those mattresses leaving dirt/oil? Would experience movers leave empty water bottles on the floor yard? Would experienced movers take 8 hours as a 4 man crew when the previous move was 2 man and 6 hours (when this move was a shorter distance?). Trying to communicate with the GM was pointless as when I requested a copy of the insurance they are required to hold, he kept sending me the list of insurance I didn’t purchase. So either they do not hold insurance or they lack honesty/integrity. Considering they claim to be a family and veteran owned company they definitely would not take accountability for not providing the level of service promised. If I wanted to accept the damage offer settlement I would have been required to remove any/all negative reviews therefore continuing to deceive consumers. I would never hire this company again. I thought being honest about the damage and property itself I would have received a claim offer that was fair. But apparently all of the exceptional care and expertise/experience during your move is only there when you upgrade to their premium insurance. So proceed at your own risk

   Beware! What a mistake I made hiring this company. $2,000 to move 30 miles only had boxes and furniture. Small 2 bedroom house!! Do not hire this moving company What a rip off. Less than 0 stars for my rating UGH.

   Unbelievable.

   Absolutely terrible experience. I was sold one thing on the phone, and another in person. The experience and professionalism of the workers was mediocre at best. Upon calling to gain understanding of 2 hours to load a 10x10 storage unit, I was referred to the owner. The owner tried to blame me for everything that I stated to him, and hung up in my face at one point. He told his workers to stop unloading my items without saying anything to me about it. The owner treated me like I was lying about my experience and what I was told over the phone. I was treated with very little respect and was absolutely appalled. One worker attempted to seek understanding and ease the obvious pain of the situation. However the other worker sat my items on the ground outside and was not very communicative at any point. That same employee placed an air bed and a container of files on top of a “32 inch tv box. I have photos of everything. I would never hire these people or refer them. They don’t deserve to be claimed a reputable moving business whatsoever. Their only concern was getting my money, literally, I overheard the contact on the phone asking if he’d gotten the money from me. They acted like they gave me a discount of 45 minutes but at the end of the day with all of the back and forth the move should have taken at most 3 hours. 100% undeserving of people’s hard earned money.

   Disgraceful.

   I cannot imagine where any positive reviews would come from except for made up reviews by USA Family Moving. I was initially happy to do business with a "family owned veteran business" as I have supported our active military and veterans through volunteerism and philanthropically. I could have found individuals off the street that would have been more respectful of a customer's home and belongings, had a better attitude, work ethic, professionalism, customer service skills - the "movers" from USA Family Moving were not professional movers. But when you look into the owners background in Washington state where the owners were shut down for deceptive business practices and paid a hefty fine it is not a surprise that USA Family moving is a joke of a "moving company". Our moving day was horrendous and made a stressful time much worse. They didn't put down any carpet or wood floor protectors and when asked to they mouthed off and said they weren't asked to. Professionals don't have to be asked especially on a damp, wet day. I was also told by Ericka that they use railing and door jam protectors - not true. Had to ask to have cushions wrapped from getting soiled. Broken and damaged furniture to which they laughed and said "that is what they have insurance for". Never received a customer bill or rights. I could go on and on about this disgraceful business. When I called on moving day to complain John, supposedly one of the owners, blamed everyone but his staff and took no responsibility and has no customer service skills and tried to make me the one with the problem. We were duped and scammed and I don't care to think about this horrible experience and am taking time to write this review so others don't fall for the "veteran owned" business and who are nice until they get you to retain them. Steer clear of this "moving company".

    Moving AND Storage.

    I contracted with USA Family Moving to pack my furniture and belongings. I did not have a destination yet, but they advised that they also had the ability to store my belongings until I was ready to have them picked up and moved to the final destination, I was ecstatic that I could have a 1-stop facility for my moving experience. The initial relationship was excellent! Friendly and Helpful. Communication was superb. The movers came on the day scheduled and at the scheduled time! They were efficient, professional, careful and pleasant. Still could not be happier. When the packing was complete, I was a bit shocked at the final cost of plastic wrap and "estimated" storage - 3 storage rooms for my belongings from a 2 bedroom apartment. They did not accept a debit card..only cash or major credit card. Oh well..done. The HIDEOUS part of the relationship occurs when you try to get your stuff out of storage! You cannot get your belongings on a weekend. You must take off work to manage this. THEN you find out you need to provide them with 48 hours notice! So, I finally was able to get my friends to take off work, provided the 48 hours notice to the office. The office apparently didn't tell the storage people that we were coming. We were DENIED! So, took off work, wasted time, expressed serious displeasure and rescheduled. And by the way, you can't take part of your stuff..you must take it all. AND, oh..because all stored items are 3 floors up and requires machinery and operators to get it down, you owe $50 per hour for their assistance at the time of retrieval. If all you want is movers, they're good. But don't be sucked into the idea of storing with them. Even though it seemed to be a convenient one-stop-service for me, it ended up being a nightmare of surprises, rudeness, additional costs.
