   November 2024 - Terrible Moving Experience Writing a review here to warn people away from this company. Pretty standard intake process - everything seemed fine - but when the guys showed up (Sergio and two other guys), they immediately started rolling their eyes, saying they needed at least two additional hours (at $150/hr, which is a reasonable rate). I told them that I moved all this stuff into the place with two other guys in under 3 hours. They rolled their eyes and started counting the boxes. 1-by-1 the man is counting boxes and huffing and puffing like he's never seen boxes before -- they spent 30 minutes trying to get me to commit to additional hours. I refused. Instead, they took "only what they had time for," which was about half the stuff. They made a big show of moving incredibly slowly -- I would sprint past them carrying boxes and items and things, trying to speed the process along. When we arrived at the destination, I started helping them unload. Every time I ran down to the truck (we were moving my mother-in-law into a retirement community), Sergio would try to get her to sign off and hand him her credit card. "We get payment in the middle of the job; that's how we do it," he kept saying. Finally, after spending another 30 minutes haggling with me (while his two guys slowly unloaded the truck), I talked to his manager and let them run my credit card. The MINUTE they ran my card, the guys wheeled the last boxes in and left with 20 minutes remaining on the 3-hour clock. They did not even take the tape off the furniture; they didn't put my MIL's bed back together, which was the main reason we hired movers. Huge pieces of solid-wood furniture were just left stacked amongst boxes in the middle of the hallway. I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this company. You'll read this, and then you'll read some good reviews, and maybe you'll decide to give them a shot. DON'T. They will try to upcharge you on the hours, and then they will go slowly to make sure the job takes the most time that they can possibly milk out of you. Don't do it.

   Poor estimate leads to realy bad experience

   Yeah, no. Avoid these guys. Just too many surprises and now, several weeks later, no response at all from the complaint I left w customer service. Oh, and be sure you withdraw cash to pay or they nail you for a 4% fee to use the card. The crew wasnottoblame and I tipped them, but too many shocks and surprises to be able to recommend this company. We had a piano on the list, sent pictures, was charged a bulky item fee, only to be told at the last minute they would not move it. Surprise! Eventually they did send a crew to help and moved it for an additional $100. What can ya do? They got ya.

   Beware! Do NOT Hire this company!

   DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! We have over $15,000 of damaged furniture and personal items that cannot be replaced. They will offer you next to nothing and then require that you change your review to a five star rating. BEWARE! The ratings online are fake!!! There’s no telling how many people took a joke of a settlement and then had to change their ratings and remove their pictures. My whole master bedroom smelled like pot/weed and hours later the guy up there still hadn’t packed up everything. Total waste of money! Then he let my dresser bounce down our staircase with no padding. Of course there’s a hole in the bottom of it now and one drawer doesn’t close. Check Google and Yelp reviews for more details and pictures.
