   Planned directions catered to all my needs. They were professional and helpful with working with our timeline! I would highly suggest planned directions to anyone that needs movers!

   Cost of Moving.

   I have retained Planned Directions to move furniture out of an apartment to the recycling area outside the building. Three movers were sent instead of the requested two and was told it did not matter the fee would have been the same. It took the men one half hour to move the furniture from the apartment to the recycling area and the cost was $542.40 ($450.00 for movers, $30.00 fuel and $62.40 HST).  This would equate to $900.00 per hour. I would not recommend Planned Directions to any of my friends and caution anybody who may be thinking of using them because of their ethics.  I would suggest that the perspective customer(s) get several firm written quotes from other moving companies before calling Planned Directions.  .

   Items delivered from storage.

   Mr. Jim Strathdee, the owner of this company is a liar, cheat and a crook! I had my belongings in storage with him for 3 years and paid my monthly bill on time every month. During  the time that he was supposed to be looking after my possessions, they were moved from location to location at least 4 times and as a result, many items were damaged or broken and some even went missing. When I asked him for compensation, he offered me old, used items that had been given to him or left behind by other clients..he refused any monetary compensation. I have had to replace many items out of my own pocket. I even found items mixed in with mine, that did not belong to me and when I tried to return them to him, he told me to "throw them out" despite these things belonging to someone else!   He doesn't care about his customers or about integrity or being honest..beware of this man and his company!
