   Moving.

   Big Red guy did a great job to help me out with moving a few stuff to a new apartment. Not only was he fast and cheerful, but he was also very helpful with giving me a lift to IKEA to return some more boxes and then back to base. Excellent professional. Highly recommended!

   Moving and storing.

   They guys did an amazing job, despite being 30 mins late..We moved from a small 2 bed on the 3rd floor without a lift to new a new property which we didn't get the keys!! Big Red stored our stuff for 4 days until we completed and delivered everything back the same day. As well as assembling all our beds and sofas, they took away all the rubbish we didn't want from our new place. Highly recommend!!

   Moving Flat.

   Big Red helped me move a couple weeks ago. I thought they did a great job, especially considering we were on the 4th floor with narrow stairs! I would definitely recommend them for your move.

   Awesome movers.

   We had a very large chain and what became a rather complicated move, store and then move again. The team who packed our stuff were like locusts, but with the care attention of watch smiths and it only took them 3 hours to pack up the whole place. Even though the guys had to wait an hour in 35 degree heat before completion had been given they were extremely polite and efficient when they eventually were allowed to unload. James made the process easy considering we haven't moved in 11 years and was calm considering our move was not the norm by anyones standards. We would definitely recommend Big Red as have 2 friends who have used them for much larger house moves.

   Communication terrible

   The guys that actually moves us were great! However a couple of things got broken and BRR will not give us the contact details for the insurance company nor any details of the claim which they say they have made for us. We are still trying to get compensation over two months after our move!!! Also we were overcharged for the move and James refuses to answer either emails or phone calls in order to sort it out. Very frustrated and disappointed at the terrible communication.

   Dishonest and caused damage

   Majorly damaged items, overcharged way over quote and even left items behind. They did not respond to my 10 emails to fix anything and I am left with costs to fix damaged items and a crack in my wall where they hit a picture frame. They were then late and said they were having lunch and charging me for it! I think the reason they have so many google profiles is because they are trying to avoid having a justifiably low rating. Highly recommend using another company.

   BRR considers their time more valuable than yours

   Don’t hire Big Red Removals. They value their time more than they value yours. BRR was storing my items in London, and in April 2021 I had requested they move these from London to Gloucester. They quoted an exorbitant rate for that move – £700 – with the argument that other removals people charging half as much are unreliable, arrive late and don’t do what they say they’ll do. In addition, BRR told me that they’d charge me £70 for every hour a less-expensive removals team is late for picking up my items from their storage facility. BRR themselves ended up being 1.5 hours late in delivering my items to Gloucester – claiming they had trouble finding a parking space despite me telling their team ahead of time where to park (indeed they ended up parking on the street I had initially recommended). As anyone who has crossed the country for an important job interview will tell you, there are many ways to avoid being late when you’ve promised to be on time. Interestingly the company’s manager who had quoted the £700 to me, and who was part of the group who delivered my stuff, didn’t introduce himself on the day ... Later I sent BRR an invoice requesting £105 back for their late arrival, exactly what they would have charged a late competitor for wasting their time, and four weeks later I haven’t received anything. BRR requested more money for a better service, but they didn’t deliver on their promises, didn’t consider my time important, and haven’t owned up to their mistake. Don’t hire them. I’d give them zero stars if I could.

   Unprofessional and dishonest.

   I was charged 40% more than the original quote confirmed over email and phone, due to a traffic. It was never mentioned to me that I would be charged from the moment the truck leaves the storage. The movers were late by over 3 hours, partly because they made a stop for another job before coming to my place and no one cared to keep me informed about their ETA. After my card was charged a lot more than expected, I sent a number of emails but they were ignored by both Hugh and James. I also received a number of separate invoices with lots of different charges to make the matter even more confusing. I definitely do not recommend their services. They are unprofessional and dishonest.

    Big Bad Red Removals.

    I thought all was fine, and on the day they appeared to do the job well; but actually though they broke lots of items - e.g. big cracks in antique furniture, massive dent in the fridge, broken paintings frames. If that wasn't it - unannounced, they charged me 6 MONTHS LATER a fee 'for difficult access' all of a sudden and TOOK THE MONEY OFF MY CARD!! No mention of anything like this on the day or beforehand at the consultation. Total cowboys!
